Time to reconsider...

Dispensational theology and Eschatology make a distinction between Israel and the believers in Jesus, but  I believe this to be demonstrated by scriptures and logic to be false.  One can rightfully conclude that the body of Christians is the true Israel of God forming one community and building.  A mere honest examination of the second chapter of the book of Ephesians points away from Dispensational theology and supports covenant theolgy.  No warrant is clear for two distinct Chosen people.  Those in Christ are the Chosen people and counted as Abrahams rightful descendants.

Ephesians 2~~

Paul writing to the gentile Ephesians tells them (v.12-) that in the past they were aliens to the Commonwealth of Israel BUT now through Jesus Christ they are no longer outside but inside the walls of the city of Israel and fellow citizens (v. 19).  In the last several verses of Ephesians Paul tells them that the whole structure is built upon the Prophets and Apostles of God with Christ being the main cornerstone.  Here we see the body of Christ presented as a complete structure very similiar to the New Jerusalem in Revelation, which also mentions the 12 tribes and 12 apostles (times 1000 = 144,000...a number representing completion).  These seem to be one and the same.

I know some don't like to hear this form of reformed theology because they have their hearts set upon the old Jerusalem and may also think 1948 is prophetically significant.  Some even teach a new tribulation temple will be rebuilt on the present dome of the rock location supposedly with new preists and useless animal sacrifices.  This show a lack of knowledge on Bible interpretation and typology. The Old Testament types pointed to the New Testament antitypes.  For example, the blood of lambs has been replaced by the blood of Jesus...  In this short blog I have merely touched on these things in order to stimulate interest and thinking.  Below I have added one of my own videos..
