- Description: It is hard to understand why any Christian pastor would perform an act that he should know could incite and enrage some people to murder innocent people, by burning the Quran! We are called to preach the gospel to the lost and share the love of God towards ALL men. Yet this pastor knowing in advance and having been warned by many that his actions could cause the death of innocent people and yet this did not deter him. The Apostle Paul never once in his apostolic journeys ever intentionally offended or incited anyone to violence. His was a mission of love sent out by God to proclaim the forgiveness of sins through the shed blood of His Son on the cross and the good news that one can be saved by His grace through faith in His Son. This man may bare some guilt in this and yet he believes he is not responsible for those deaths that came as a direct result of his foolish actions. We are not here to incite but to preach the gospel of peace which he appears to be ignorant of. What a shame! To all Muslims in the world I wish to express my sadness and utter disgust with those actions of this man and want you to know that he is not typical of Christians in general . As Christian we stand in defense of the gospel and the authenticity of the Holy Scriptures as found in the Word of God, the Bible. Yet we do not advocate violence or endorse threats against those who disagree for we understand each man is responsible before God himself and is FREE to choose what he believes and accepts even if it is wrong. By your comments please let this pastor know that what he did was wrong and cannot be condoned or embraced by true Christians. Plead with him to repent and change his mind on this issue, praying that God will allow him to come to the truth.

I am hoping Christians will speak out against this kind of action that apparently brought the death of innocent people. As Christians we are here to preach the gospel to the lost and not to incite others to violence. From various accounts this pastor was warned by various people in the government that such an act could bring harm to our troops fighting over seas and perhaps to civilian's as well and it appears that is what has happened.
I am happy you "think Christ and choose love" but I do not believe we should remain silent on this for others may follow and bring more harm to more people.
