Because there are no righteous persons on this planet, and you yourself are not righteous. I'm not righteous. None of us are righteous dear friends we have may grievous things in the past. If you say you have not done any grievous things in the past you are a liar dear friend, for you know, and Jesus knows the things you should not have done against somebody. There is many things that we regret and wish we didn't do. If we allow it our past can come and haunt us and crush us. Apostle Paul was a good example of this. He did many grievous things to the Christians in his past and the Lord redeemed him out of all that. That's what I want to share with you today that Jesus will redeem you out of your past also, so that all those grievous things you have done, and all those things you totally regret because they are wicked in the sight of God and man, they can be forgiven today and put behind you so you do not need to dwell on them again. You see when we go to Jesus he forgives us of our past grievances and sins. These things no more have to cause us grief and worry nor do they have to drag us off into hell, and before God condemn us. Jesus came so that these things will be forgiven that they will be covered, even the bad things like what Paul did. He went and persecuted Gods people and Jesus forgave him for that, and Jesus led him on a new path to the kingdom of heaven. So I urge you today if you have got some grievous things that you have done to people young or old, I urge you to repent of them and realize that Jesus will forgive you of these past things and that he can lead you on a new path where you no longer do these things anymore more. Don't be like the foolish Christians who say that Jesus has forgiven me yet they still live these grievous things in their present and the future. Dear friends we have to leave behind our past. If we were wicked in the past we must not continue to be wicked for we know that God is a consuming fire of justice and he will not take kindly to those who after coming to the knowledge of the forgiveness of sins, then they go and continue in the path of evil. Dear friends, now that Jesus has set us free from our sins and covered our past, Let us zealously go forth and live righteously as JESUS leads us. Because within ourselves we are not righteous, there is no such thing as self-righteousness. But when Jesus covers us and he himself leads us to repentance, and on the new way of doing good things, and doing what he wants us to do, we are naturally going to have his righteousness in our life and it is going to be evident to everybody else around us. I urge you today dear soul, go and be led by Jesus and have his righteousness in your heart and his forgiveness covering your past wickedness and go sin no more. No longer do the things that are evil in the sight of God. If you have a little problem, and the Holy Spirit convicts you of it, repent of it and do it no more. Turn away from all things that are going to defile you and pollute you before the Lord God Time is very short. And this is the way to the kingdom of heaven; by being covered in the blood of Jesus Christ realizing your sins are forgiven and in this forgiveness, going on in the righteousness of Jesus and leaving all your sins. Don't allow them to rule your life anymore. Turn them over to Jesus and he shall surely free you. May the peace of the Lord be upon you today..
