Weep and rejoice

"Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep."-Romans12:15. The apostle Sha'ul (Paul) called us to a life of both weeping and rejoicing. Paul challenged us to look beyond our own experiences and consider the plights and anguish of others. He stated, "Rejoice with those that rejoice, and weep with those that weep." If we wish to be more God-like we must put ourselves in the shoes of others and practice empathy. God perceives the pain and anguish of all. We too must imitate the mind of God. God is able to work through all things to bring justice because he knows the inner being or heart of each person and thing. Reach out and lend a hand to others if it is within your power to do so.. Rev. Zomok

The Man And The Birds

The Man And The Birds "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us." (John 1:14) This is a story of an average man, not a scrooge but a kind, decent and mostly good man. He was generous to his family and upright in his dealings with other men. However, he just didn't believe all that incarnation stuff which the churches proclaim at Christmas time. It just didn't make sense and he was too honest to pretend otherwise. He just couldn't swallow the Jesus story about God coming to earth as a man. “I'm truly sorry to distress you,” he told his wife, “but I'm not going with you to church this Christmas Eve.” He said he'd feel like a hypocrite and that he'd much rather just stay at home but he would wait up for them. And so he stayed home and they went to the midnight service. Shortly after the family drove away in the car, snow began to fall. He went to the window to watch the flurries getting heavier and heavier and then went back to his fireside chair and began to read his newspaper. Minutes later he was startled by a thudding sound. Then another and then another...a sort of thump or thud. At first he thought someone must be throwing snowballs against his living room window. He went to the front door to investigate and found a flock of birds huddled miserably in the snow. They'd been caught in the storm and, in a desperate search for shelter, had tried to fly through his large landscape window. That was what had been making the sounds. Well, he couldn't let the poor creatures lie there and freeze, so he remembered the barn where his children stabled their pony. That would provide a warm shelter, if he could direct the birds to it. Quickly he put on a coat and galoshes then tramped through the deepening snow to the barn. He opened the doors wide and turned on a light, but the birds wouldn't go in. He figured food would entice them in so he hurried back to the house to fetch bread crumbs. He sprinkled them on the snow, making a trail to the yellow-lighted, wide-open doorway of the stable. But to his dismay the birds ignored the bread crumbs, and continued to flap around helplessly in the snow. He tried catching them but could not. He tried shooing them into the barn by walking around them waving his arms. Instead, they scattered in every direction except into the warm, lighted barn. And then he realised that they were afraid of him. To them, he reasoned, I am a strange and terrifying creature. If only I could think of some way to let them know that they can trust me. If only they knew that I am not trying to hurt them but to help them. But how? Any move he made tended to frighten them and confuse them. They just would not follow. They would not be led or shooed because they feared him. He thought to himself, “If only I could be a bird, and mingle with them and speak their language. Then I could tell them not to be afraid and I could show them the safe, warm barn. But I would have to be one of them so they could see, hear and understand.” At that moment the church bells began to ring. The sound reached his ears above the sounds of the wind. He stood there listening to the bells pealing the glad tidings of Christmas … and he sank to his knees in the snow. (Author unknown) Jesus became a man to show you and I the way into His eternal, heavenly barn. The Bible says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). God has shown you His love. Please don't refuse to repent of your sins and be saved otherwise you will die in your sins and never know the joy of eternal life. This article can be downloaded as a PDF or an MP3 from - http://www.christianissues.biz/downloads.html Christian Issues' blog can be subscribed to at - http://www.christianissues.biz/blog/wordpress/feed/ Mick Alexander leeandmick@gmail.com http://www.ChristianIssues.biz

The suffering God vs Hell

I have covered many aspects of the faulty doctrine of an eternal burning hell, logically pointing out that the penalty for sin is death (Romans 6:23) and how Yeshua came and suffered that very penalty. I have also logically argued that in the end of time God will have a perfect creation without sin, which could not be so if he were to sustain an eternal penal colony of lost souls roasting in a "hell". Such lost souls would be sustained sinners and not reconciled by any sane definition! I need not rehash here every aspect of the faulty doctrine of an eternal burning hell!!!

Last night I prayed for something new to point out and shortly thereafter noticed a new point. It stood out with new luster. I started to study about the fact that God is "longsuffering" in Numbers 14:18. In the Hebrew this is "long-faced" [Strong's H750 and H639]. The Hebrew is concrete in this case pointing at the sad long face of a suffering personality. I also wanted to see how the Septuagint translated this and found the Greek word, "makrothumia", which means "long-endurance" of pain and being patient with others.. [seeStrong's G3115]. The Hebrew and Greek work well together in touching all bases on what God experiences. He suffers with his creation!

There has been a debate on just how much God experiences pain. Under Greek philosophical influence the early church often held that God does not suffer and is basically above it all. The term "impassable" has often been used to describe God in this regard. God is supposedly "not emotional" or does not feel pain. Many theologians will label any verse that describes face, eyes, hands, and suffering of God "Anthropomorphisms" and "Anthropopathisms". In other words, God is described with human features (physical and mental) to help us understand certain points about the divine. I am persuaded when God is described with hands and face, for God is spirit, but not so persuaded about God not having certain mental and emotional attributes. If God is without emotions than God would be less understanding and could not see things fully. God is "passable" not "impassable". He truly loves the created world and all his creatures!!!

To wrap this up, because God is both omnipresent and omniscient (all knowing) he is both above his creation and within it. God is within everything, every single atom and particle. God sees out our very eyes and is in our very nerves. In him we move and have our being. God suffers what we suffer. God knows each of us better than we know ourselves, something required for a perfect and devine judge. NOW if God were to sustain unredeemed sinners in and endless fiery hell God would suffer with them because he would be sustaining them. Remember anything completely separated from God has no existence. God will have a perfect creation in the end where all is completed and reconciled, which cannot be so if God as well as most people suffer in hell forever. God would suffer with them and to some extent the redeemed would also knowing that their loved ones did not earn salvation..

It is time to put the unbiblical and illogical Traditional view of Hell in the catagory of fables where it truly belongs.

By taking what was not yet due to him, and living an ungodly life, he abused God's laws and showed a total lack of love for those close to him. In Jewish society, these actions were extremely shameful and punishable by death (Deu. 21:18-21). Fortunately, like our heavenly Father, his father was full of love and accepted him back when he repented. This young man is a good example of what we should not do.

The story of Fred and George's flight to freedom was retold

The story of Fred and George's flight to freedom was retold so often over the next few days that Harry could tell it would soon become the stuff of Hogwart's legend: within a week, even those who had been eye-witnesses were half-convinced they had seen the twins dive-bomb Umbridge on their brooms and pelt her with Dungbombs before zooming out of the doors. In the immediate aftermath of their departure there was a great wave of talk about copying them. Harry frequently heard students saying things like, ‘Honestly, some days I just feel like jumping on my broom and leaving this place,’ or else, ‘One more lesson like that and I might just do a Weasley.’ Clarisonic Mia Plus
Fred and George had made sure nobody was likely to forget them too soon. For one thing, they had not left instructions on how to remove the swamp that now filled the corridor on the fifth floor of the east wing. Umbridge and Filch had been observed trying different means of removing it but without success. Eventually, the area was roped off and Filch, gnashing his teeth furiously, was given the task of punting students across it to their classrooms. Harry was certain that teachers like McGonagall or Flitwick could have removed the swamp in an instant but, just as in the case of Fred and George's Wildfire Whiz-bangs, they seemed to prefer to watch Umbridge struggle. Clarisonic Mia Outlet
Then there were the two large broom-shaped holes in Umbridge's office door, through which Fred and George's Cleansweeps had smashed to rejoin their masters. Filch fitted a new door and removed Harry's Firebolt to the dungeons where, it was rumoured, Umbridge had set an armed security troll to guard it. However, her troubles were far from over. Clarisonic Mia 2
Inspired by Fred and George's example, a great number of students were now vying for the newly vacant positions of Troublemakers-in-Chief. In spite of the new door, somebody managed to slip a hairy-snouted Niffler into Umbridge's office, which promptly tore the place apart in its search for shiny objects, leapt on Umbridge when she entered and tried to gnaw the rings off her stubby fingers. Dungbombs and Stink Pellets were dropped so frequently in the corridors that it became the new fashion for students to perform Bubble-Head Charms on themselves before leaving lessons, which ensured them a supply of fresh air, even though it gave them all the peculiar appearance of wearing upside-down goldfish bowls on their heads. Clarisonic Mia
Abortion - What will the rejection of God's law cost me in the end?

       Unplanned Pregnancy

Though there may be less than favourable circumstances that surround an unplanned pregnancy, the Christian woman or teen has an obligation before God to pause and prayerfully consider the biblical bottom line – God is pro-life – before entertaining thoughts of termination.

“Thou shalt not murder” Deut. 5:17. Ever-increasingly, the world-view of the bible is that it is archaic, irrelevant, and does not reflect the mood or mindset of the 21st century. The world, in its ungodly perspective, has decided that aborting the unborn is a decision that is ours to make. This was never God's view on the issue. Man’s disobedience and rejection of God’s word is neither new, nor is it shocking to God. It is an attitude that has been around since the beginning. This, however, does not make it any more acceptable to God. What the 21st century world deems irrelevant is quite relevant in God’s everlasting moral order; a moral code that Christians are to embrace if Jesus is really our Lord.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever. His moral standards are today what they have always been. If God were to change with every new calendar year to accommodate man’s ever-advancing moral corruption, then He would no longer be the Almighty, but rather a weak and indecisive entity. No, we can trust God. We can trust His faithfulness, love, strength and forgiveness, because of the fact that He is God and does not change.

A 'pro-choice' argument that has remained front and center over the years, and has worked toward empowering women in their decision and also giving justification to it (they think), is the argument - it is my body, therefore it is my right to choose. The obvious, but seldom-used rebuttal is of course - it may be your body, but it is not your life you are taking. The decision to take the life of another is not a decision that is ours to make, and when we do so, it is called 'murder'. The unborn, undeveloped fetus is alive. If it were not, its steady and progressive development into human form would not be possible. If the fetus were not alive the woman would naturally miscarry. The body is a working wonder, wonderfully made. It knows exactly what to do if a living, developing fetus dies within the womb. But for us to wilfully kill this life, is to take the life of another.

I am sympathetic toward those who find themselves facing an unwanted pregnancy. But the truth is, the ‘breath of life’ is God’s to give and it is His alone to take away. Women acknowledge and honour God - the creator of life, when they protect life in the womb. Every life conceived is life God has granted. If we honour God’s moral code, and do not wound our very soul by the willful destruction of our own flesh and blood, life will be fuller and better. No matter how difficult the emotional challenges are surrounding the pregnancy, we must ask ourselves – What will the rejection of God’s moral law cost me in the end?

May I encourage you to carefully consider God and also the precious life you carry before making a critical decision that will immensely impact the rest of your life.

        God is your strength.

The need to read the New Revelation

Our days, although many other minor mystics revelations are treated with a lot of respect and attention in the theological world, although we live in a time when all kind of “shocking” archaeological discoveries or fictional literature which seem to unravel the deepest mysteries of Christianity are quickly popularized and acclaimed… the New Revelation still lies, after almost 150 years, totally unrecognized by all earthly institution and authorities as something worthy to be studied and understood. The reason for this is, probably, the defensive reaction of men representing present religious institutions, whose representative role is denied by these writings numerous affirmations that God’s needs no intermediary between Him and any human being and that only a heart full of love for God and neighbor can be a right temple for Him. Just reading the New Revelation, one can directly and clearly understand the human nature, its liberty, the influence of sin on it, and so, can obtain not only a true perspective of the historical development of mankind’s evolution, but also a correct representation of the things that God expect us to do for ourselves and, most of all, for our brothers in need. We are living in a time when, for very great reasons, signs of the Lord’s presence appear everywhere, but we can also notice the immense number of false prophets and scholars, many of them inside Christianity, who menace to give a dangerous turn to Christian faith. Doomsday preachers or dogmatic evangelist with fearful representations about hell, can inspire many bad feelings and attitudes, that could easily replace or block the genuine trust and love for God and people. One false idea in a bucket of truths can easily alter them all. The fruits of the false prophets’ activity are indeed visible in our world: we see people pushed to fight with the weapons of politics and war to establish the so-called “order of God”, we see people preoccupied by their own salvation, neglecting or even damning suffering souls, accepting to easily a supposed eternal sentence of hell for millions, accepting the destruction of our planet because of the promise of their escape at the return of the Lord. We see people in the so-called Christian part of the world, whose religious concepts turned their hearts into stones, worshiping incessantly in conventions, traditions, rituals, deformed images of God and His order and, behind them, secretly, their own fatally inflated ego’s. Few people, based on the valuable Bible teachings, reach for some of the most essential truths of God's order and really fight for their spreading. But, as I see things, their backup of theological and scientific knowledge, still needs God's true teaching. According to the New Revelation, the valuable Bible is still sealed with 7 seals, but, by contrast, these direct teachings are given for anybody who wants to have an undeniable, comprehensive and large knowledge about God, creation and man. They also confirm validated historical facts, documented Near Death Experiences, testimonies of great mystics as saint Birgitta, Emmanuel Swedenborg or Saddhu Sundar Singh, etc. The seeker of truth should try reading “The Great Gospel of John” through Jakob Lorber or “The secrets of life” and “The Lord’s Sermons” through Gottfried Mayerhofer or some synthesis as “Fundamental Principles of Life” by Walter Lutz and "The Prophet Jakob Lorber predicts coming catastrophes and the true Christianity” by Kurt Eggelstein. It seems to me that now is the time to learn about God’s love from anybody able to feel it and recognize it… be it a child, a businessman, an actor, a man of any faith, race or social status… there are and always were everywhere people who live and teach others, through their living example, God’s love. But still, there is more in the New Revelation that all good people inspired by God were ever able to do, say or write... because this is the direct Word of God for the humanity, in which is gathered all the knowledge man needs to achieve the dignity for which he was created and the supremo of all, His own earthly life example. In this most generous gift of divine wisdom, any human being will find the fundamental spiritual truths that can indeed nourish and develop the true love for God and neighbor, and through this, the spiritual rebirth and the eternal perfect life as real children of our Creator.

This Generation

What really moves us, people of this generation? All kinds of interests and desires... legitimate ones, of course... But can there be anything more important than God?

And if not, then why do we cling on only our comfortable habits of life and do not seek for Him?

This is not rhetoric. This is a real theme for meditation.

Think better, you who don’t make any time to search and know God, if, by chance there is not a fear in you that going this way, you might have to change your life and drop-out some of the things you greatly appreciate… such as your wealth, your many pleasures of the flesh, your habit of spending your time with selfish, but easy and enjoyable activities…

You might also fear that you will become an outcast in the circle of your friends, family, colleagues, for you will have to restrain from many tempting circumstances they will want to involve you in.

Yes friends… this is true. A major change in life, once you have come to recognize God, is unavoidable. Still, this one is not exterior, nor imposed by external means as you might imagine, but is strictly interior. The inner man is changed and this change brings in cascade all other visible changes in his life.

For one cannot be touched by the splendor of a pearl, but still collect small stones from the beaches of the rivers. You cannot eat the food of God and still run after the food of men...

The Cosmic Man and the Heavenly Man (final chapter of "The Fly")

"12.3 To give you a good picture, let us look at two large objects, namely, a big (cosmic) man called the world, and another huge man called heaven.

12.4 Regarding the first man, in a material sense, entire shell globes, full of suns and worlds, do not make up a nerve module of his, and this man, who in his largeness, sees himself as completely ‘one’ life, just as you see yourselves as just one life, - but does he really consist of just one life?

12.5 To understand that this great cosmic man lives a manifold life, you need only to see a swarm of flies, and they will tell you with their humility that even they, as the first animals, present for themselves a complex life. How much more must man for himself recognize this, and still more an entire world full of people and countless other living beings, and still by far more the sun with its completed beings, and still much more a central sun with its most complete and almighty spirits, and finally a self-contained shell globe.

12.6 But still, all these shell globes, all central suns, all next-to-central suns, all planetary suns, and all other secondary suns with their planets and all the beings on them, are truly nothing but body parts of this large ‘cosmic man’, who for himself has as good a self-contained life as every man on this earth.

12.7 See, that was the view on the material side.

12.8 Now let us direct our eyes to the ‘heavenly man’, whose size compared to the previously mentioned ‘cosmic man’ is as a millionth part of an atom (cosmic man) compared to an atom (heavenly man).

12.9 Yes, the ‘heavenly man’ in its human shape is so big that all countless milliards of shell globes, which comprise the ‘cosmic man’, would easily fit into the tubular opening of one of its little body hairs and they could move about without even touching the sides of the little hair tubes.

12.10 Now, think, how much life this heavenly man already has in one little hair tube, or at least in a part of the body corresponding to the little hair, and how much life he must have in one of his limbs, how much in his heart, and how much in his entire body! And yet, this entire ‘heavenly man’ thinks of himself as only simply existing for himself, while countless milliards and milliards of the most perfect angels and spirits, all self-contained as well, think and live just as he does. Yes, in this heavenly men, there are still other relationships in which beings that think alike and love alike, form a union which, corresponding to an earthly body or at least a part of one, represent completely a man that can think and feel entirely for itself, as if he were only an individual man!

12.11 Yes, i tell you, in addition: in my endlessness, there are several such heavens, and each heaven is, by itself, a complete man, and all the heavens together form another endless man, which cannot be thought or conceived of by anyone but me, since it is actually my body, or god in his endlessness, which thinks and feels his person and individuality in the most determined and clearest way of all, - and what an abundance of life in him!"

Judas Iscariot and the issue of communism

The fatal compromise made for the sake of glory and material welfare is for eternity represented by the story of Judas’ betrayal.

As we know from the final part of the Great Gospel of John, Judas was truly seeking for social justice for his Jewish fellowmen, but also for the promotion of his own self-image as a co-savior of them and, eventually, of the entire world.

Seeing that the Lord doesn’t show any intention of changing the worldly order of things, he judged Him as weak, unable to use His godly power and tried to force Him to reveal His power in front of the people and authorities of Jerusalem. And how could he reveal it more obviously than in the case in which His own life would have been at stake? Surely, this is exactly what Judas would have done in such a terribly unjust and dangerous situation. Although he knew the Lord, he could not imagine (and Satan sustained him in his worldly blindness) that He would freely chose to give Himself as a living sacrifice, as an atonement for the sins of all people. But this is what He did, the greatest possible act of His infinite mercy and thus, gained infinitely more, not only for all the humanity ever, including His blind enemies, but also for His entire spiritual creation.

A great historical parallel to the story of Judas, was the forced attempt to social justice ideally represented by the communist system. Of course, communist leaders didn’t try to manipulate God in order to achieve their own purposes, bur literally tried to kill Him in the hearts of millions of people… However they didn’t start as God killers in front of the masses either… They started as fighters for human rights attempting to institute the social justice by "legitimate"force… Of course, "legitimate" because they assumed there's no chance that a possible God would have any kind of contribution to their cause.

So, workers of all countries… let’s forget about that old stupid fantasy called God and unite in order to make our own justice and laws… Just that, without a fatherly God in people’s hearts, they extremely quickly forgot the justice of their own conscience and lose also the love for the fellowman, paving the way for the worst demons that lead their evil rulers to destroy morally and physically their own people. Never before communism, had the humanity experienced such a large scale genocide of brothers of the same nation, never before was so active the most demonic, self-destructive hate. God was indeed replaced by human beings, and as these ones could not be but liars, they proved to be also the worst, unscrupulous killers. This is and always will be the price of replacing the true God of love from the hearts and minds of the people, with any form of human authority or ideal.
