Transcript: John 3:16-17 - Understanding Salvation Through Faith in Jesus Christ

Hello, this is my first video here on October 2. My name is Eva Elizabeth Wood, and I am going to be doing Bible study. My title of the lesson today is on John 3, John chapter 3, verses 16 and 17, Salvation in Jesus. Now, I'm going to read the verses to you and talk to you about the salvation in Jesus. Starting on chapter, this is in the Holy Bible, starting in chapter 3, verses 16 and 17. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life Verse number 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. he that believeth on him is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of his only begotten son of God I thought maybe I put verse 18 in there too Well, already God has told you who he's going to have in heaven and who's not going to be in heaven. Because those who are already condemned never did come to know Jesus Christ. Never did believe in his death and his taking away our sin. The only way that we can have salvation is through Jesus Christ our Lord. It all started with the birth of Mary version Mary God has decided to come down in the flesh and he was raised in the flesh When he became 30 years of age, he started out spreading the kingdom of God. For three years, He's been going around and preaching, healing people, raising the people from the God. God's miraculous things before the Jews. You see, the Jews did not believe that there is a God. So the Father in Jesus has proven to the Jews that there is salvation. For them to have. So this is John 3. 16 through 17. The salvation in Jesus. There is no salvation. In any other person or thing. If you happen to be told that. in order to prove that you have the Holy Spirit, that you are saved, is to have to speak in tongues. That is deception. No. Or water baptism Water baptism doesn save either Neither does carrying and accepting the Holy Spirit It is Jesus. It is Christ Jesus that you are saved. There is no other salvation but through Jesus Christ our Lord. So, there will be more videos like this uploaded to Ultimate YouTube and I will be sending them your way and I have a website.
