Thank you. I know one who really cares. So one day at a time, no matter what's from my way. I'm not giving up for it, no matter what others say. With the Lord at my side, I'm never alone. I'm destined to win. So step by step, I'll take it. One day at a time. Hey, this is Pastor Jay, Jason LeBaron, back with you once again here on the video blog, bringing you another interesting event that happened this week. Mrs. Worthington Gates asked me to kind of take care of her house as she went away for the day. As we know, Mrs. Worthington Gates is a multi-millionaire and she has a very, very nice house. And she just wanted someone to just kind of watch over things, make sure everything's cool, no problems. And she went away for just a little bit. And so she called me. And it was kind of neat to get to just kind of take over and just kind of sit back, relax, and be in a mansion for a little bit. But as is with most things when you kind of take over or you're babysitting for someone or you're house-sitting for someone or you're taking care of someone's things, usually something goes backwards. And for me, yeah, things went backwards pretty epically. house sitting what a beautiful place unbelievable well I tell you it's beautiful of course that's what I guess you get when you're a multi-millionaire Wow Beautiful Whatever you do Pastor Jake Don't break nothing Like that can possibly happen Oh my Well Ms. Gates told me to make myself at home So I guess I'm going to have me a little grape juice Sounds like a plan Wow. This place is gorgeous. Almost makes you afraid to sit in this place, afraid you're going to break something. Oh well. Hmm. I'll tell you what. Let's watch a little television that'll work. While we're house sitting, yeah that sounds like a cool plan. Alright, let's do that. Wonder where she leaves the remote at. Oh, tell me this is not happening. Oh, this has to be a dream. Did you do what I told you to do and put the solution on? Yeah, it's been on for about 25 minutes. Okay, okay. Now look, all you've got to do, it'll be fine. Just take and wipe the solution all up, and the stain will come up with it. You will be fine. and everything will be fine. Now I've got to go. I've got work to do. You'll be fine. And Pastor Jay, goodbye. Unbelievable. Why hasn't she been marketing this stuff? I know what you're thinking. Wow, Pastor Jay got away with it. Not so much. Interestingly enough, Miss Worthington Gates came home. She kicked off her shoes and she started walking around. and lo and behold no matter how much I tried to kind of skirt her away from it she walked on the wet spot and she came across it and she said what is that and so I had to kind of humble myself and tell her all about my mistake you know it interesting because in first Peter chapter 5 6 and 7 it says Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God that he might exalt you in due time casting all your cares upon him, for he cared for you. You know, the point is, God truly does care for us. He knows we're going to make mistakes. He knows we're going to mess up. We're not perfect. None of us are perfect. The only one that was ever perfect was Jesus. Jesus was the only perfect man ever in the world. And we're not Jesus. No matter how hard we try, no matter how much we do, no matter how good we think we're doing, we're going to mess up. We're going to just not quite hit the mark. Paul himself said, I press towards the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. But he didn't say, I'm perfect. By any means. Because none of us are perfect. You know, interestingly enough, it's all about relying upon God. Putting God first. Saying, you know what God, I'm not perfect, but help me to strive to be like you would have me to be. Help me to strive to be perfect. You know, it reminds me of an interesting man in the Bible named Gideon. Gideon was just a lowly little farmer. And he was a cowardly farmer, to be honest with you. If you read the story of Gideon, Gideon was found behind the wine press hiding from the warriors. Because he didn't want them to see what he was doing. When he was grinding the wheat and preparing food for his family and doing all this. He didn't want them to know about it. He didn't want the warriors to know about it. The soldiers to know about it. So he did it cowardly. He was a cowardly farmer. Yet when the time came that God wanted an army, he selected Gideon to raise up that army. Now interestingly enough, and that story is so beautiful, because Gideon was told to get some warriors together. He got his warriors together. He got a bunch of good warriors, and he was so excited. He was like, well, we've got a good strong army here. And God said to Gideon, you've got too many. I got too many? You got too many. And God began to weed out all of those that he didn't want as part of his army. Until Gideon got down to, yeah, you guessed it, 300 men. 300 men going up against a humongous army. But God brought a victory. Why? Because Gideon was willing to humble himself before God. When he humbled himself before God, God brought the victory. And that's what we have to understand. Sometimes we just got to own up to our mistakes. We just got to say, you know what? I messed up. Lord, forgive me. You know, I just didn't quite hit the mark. Do you need a victory? Do you need something to put you on the right path? Well, this is for you today. Humble yourselves before God. It's all about being humble. It's all about being humble and owning up to those mistakes. I hope this episode has blessed you. And we'll be back with you once again next time with another video blog bringing you some interesting event that happened in my life and something that I learned. and until next time this is Pastor Jay reminding you that we love you but most importantly of all remember God loves you he loves you so much that he sends only begotten son to die for you and you can't get any better than that we'll see you next time bye sometimes life's little heavy sometimes Sometimes life's a little hard to bear. I feel like I'm all alone. But I know one who really cares. So one day at a time, no matter what's from my way. I'm not giving up for it, no matter what others say. With the Lord at my side, I'm never alone. I'm destined to win, so step by step I'll take it. One day at a time. One day at a time. One day at a time. One day at a time One day at a time
