Transcript: Elder Training for Kingdom Service and Evangelism Ministry

This prophetic dream, called Senior Elders Trained to Go into Service was given to Lee Evans March 22, 2008. We begin by opening with Isaiah 62, verse 10. The word declares, Isaiah 62, verse 10, Go through, go through the gates, prepare the way for the people, build up, build up the highway, Take out the stones, lift up the banner for the people. Indeed the Lord has proclaimed to the ends of the world, Say to the daughter of Zion, Surely your salvation is coming. Behold, his reward is with him, and his work is before him, and he shall call them the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord. Scene 1 I saw large construction equipment to build roads and highways. Some of the equipment was going to be used in rebuilding existing roads. There were bulldozers, front end loaders, and motor graders. Scene 2. Then I saw a full-page advertisement on a newspaper headline on the front page. It read, Senior elders are being trained to go into service to operate this machinery. Scene 3. Then I saw a large chasm. Very dark and deep. I saw my Uncle Ed driving a motor grater and was grating dirt across this great chasm. He would push the dirt into the great abyss, then back up and repeat the cycle of this process. All the while he was pushing the dirt into the gorge, the front wheels of the grater supernaturally stayed suspended and level over it. He kept working until the dirt road was completed to the other side. A new road was built. A new way was made. The Interpretation We must know ultimately that Edward is representative of Jesus Christ. Only Jesus is capable of calling those things that are not as though they ought to be. Romans 4.17 declares, The God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were Filling in the deep dark chasm with heavy equipment is Christ divine work of redemption in making the way for each and every redeemed child of God. He is the way maker. He alone is Savior, and He alone paid the price to become our Savior. This is an encouraging word for those who are older seniors, who have loved the Lord with all of their hearts and have faithfully served in the body of Christ in whatever capacity they have had opportunity, that is, within their particular church, fellowship, or ministry. Many senior elders feel that they have been in God's waiting room, but He is in the process at this very moment in taking these faithful seniors and putting them into work in various ways, which represent the heavy equipment spoken about in this dream. This is through prayer, through the laying on of hands, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit for ministry, such as healing the sick, delivering the oppressed, miracles, signs, and wonders, gift of prophecy, and so forth, according to 1 Corinthians 1.1. The new road that was built by the heavy equipment was the way by which the senior elders will be released in these ways with new anointing and power to do the Lord's work in bringing in the harvest. True intercession especially will be important as the means by which the great chasm, the bottomless pit, is filled in and makes a way or road for the redeemed to walk on to get to the other side. Jeremiah 29 verse 11 declares, For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come to me and pray, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and will bring you back from captivity. The senior elders will be instrumental as priests of the Lord in building up the way, the road, for the redeemed to walk on. Isaiah 62, verse 10 declares, Go through, go through the gates, prepare the way for the people, build up, build up the highway. Verse 6 of Isaiah 61 declares, but you shall be called the priests of the Lord. People will seek you as ministers of our God. Well, we are moving into a time where the prophetic word uttered by prophet Joel is going to be quite apparent Acts 2 those words declared In the last days God says I will pour out my Spirit on all people Your sons and daughters will prophesy Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. No barrier as to age or gender will stand in the way the day God pours out His Spirit to usher in the return of His Son, Jesus Christ. The senior elders will do the greatest work of their lives in this time. We are called to the same ministry that Jesus performed as He walked on the earth to some extent or another. Isaiah 61.1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. And he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners. Verse 2, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and to provide for those who grieve in Zion, to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, and the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. These senior elders will be like a type of Christ who, like the prophets, John the Baptist, Paul and Peter, and all others who have advanced and impacted the kingdom of God in their day. John 14, verse 12 declares, I tell you the truth. Anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father. This is a new thing that is in the beginning stages of the end-time work that is upon us now. Isaiah 43, 18 declares, Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I do a new thing now. Now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it? I will make even a road in the wilderness. Jesus spoke in Matthew 24, verse 4 through 24 about the end of time. And we are in those end times right now. These days are upon us. Now, to look at the significance of the symbolism in this dream. Chasm represents the bottomless pit or hell. Edward means guardian of riches and prosperity. and jesus through the power of the holy spirit within the believer guards his sheep his prosperity the inheritance whom he died for and whom he shall have These are his rich and royal treasures in vessels of clay Uncle means kinsman-redeemer. Jesus is our kinsman-redeemer who gave his life and shed his precious blood for all who would accept him as their Savior. Heavy road equipment. We have briefly spoken about this in the interpretation already. God is going to take these faithful senior elders and put them to work in various ways which represent the heavy equipment spoken about in this dream and this is through prayer through the laying on of hands and the gifts of the Holy Spirit for ministry such as healing the sick delivering the oppressed miracles, signs and wonders gifts of prophecy and so forth again found in 1 Corinthians 1 God will be pouring out his spirit upon his true servants, and they will begin to do mighty deeds and feats for the Lord as he anoints them for this end-time work. The full-page advertisement in the newspaper represents the prophetic. This is an important announcement that is prophesied to happen. Luke 8.17 declares, For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open. An encouraging quote regarding age in the service of God is given by the late and well-known man of faith, Mr. George Mueller of Bristol, who had sent this testimony as a message to Christian Endeavors publication. Mr. Mueller says, The joy of serving God increases with the multiplying years. I have never had more delight in the work of the Master than now.
