Transcript: Christian Halloween Movie Alternatives for Families: Faith-Friendly Fun

Hey guys, and welcome once again to another quick cut of Classic Cinema Rewind. This Halloween season, we're giving you suggestions for your Halloween month viewing. We're going with more classic, more clean, not too offensive type movies. With our next pick today, this one is a made-for-TV movie. And I know, first off, everybody goes, made-for-TV movies. That's terrible. Actually, they are a lot of times. This one was the exception to the rule. It was spectacular. And I love this. This one is Dark Knight of the Scarecrow. I love that. I love this film. I actually got to see this a little bit ago, and I fell in love with the film, and I was like man I got to get a copy of this And lo and behold VCI Entertainment hooked me up with a copy to review I love it Thank you VCI Entertainment That was so awesome of you I actually reviewed this on classiccinemamagazine.blogspot.com. We'll leave a link here for you to be able to read the full review. But this is a really awesome little film. It deals with a mentally handicapped man who has the mind of about, he's about 30, 35 some years of age and in his body, but in his mind, he's got the mind of like a 7, 8, 9, 10 year old. Just a kid basically. And he enjoys playing with this little girl, his friend, the different men of the town. They feel that Bubba, the mentally handicapped man, is going to do something to this little girl someday. And so they decide that something has to be done. When the little girl ends up trying to retrieve a ball from a yard and gets mauled by this dog Bubba goes to her rescue brings her home and they feel that Bubba did it but Bubba didn do it if you know that from the film But anyway, and so the men go out for revenge and to get justice, if you will, for the little girl, and they take out into the field, and Bubba is hiding in the scarecrow in the field, and they take and gun him down, and after they do that, they find that they called off the hunt for Bubba, and the little girl is fine. Well, that sounds like the end of the story. No, that's just the beginning, because what happens, the men of the town begin to fall, prey to interesting circumstances. They all begin to be picked off one by one. But is it the Scarecrow? Is it Bubba? Or is it something more sinister? Well it a really awesome little film And I gotta say with this release from VCI Entertainment this is the perfect way to check this thing out You can see the disc there It looks pretty awesome I like it And it looks gorgeous on Blu-ray. It really does. There is loads of bonus features on this disc. It is definitely worth checking out. And I suggest this because I watch this every single year now. I mean, this is just awesome.
