it's easy how you can say you're a Christian, but Christian means Christ-likeness. See, one of the most damaging things you can do is be a parent and take your children to church and think the goal of Christianity is church attendance. Because if your goal is church attendance and you're not living Christ-like, you're teaching your kids inadvertently that Christianity is church attendance. But no real validity of Christ in your lives or family. Suddenly, all of a sudden, you're holding on to precepts and doctrines without the reality of His life in you. Very damaging. People do it without being evil. They do it without realizing it. Doesn't mean you're evil if that's happening. It means you've been deceived. You're not understanding. All of a sudden there's this big push to get to church. And yet there's not Christ-likeness pursued outside of that moment, that window of service time.
