Hey Classic Cinema fans, this is Pastor Jay here with you. Just got a package in the mail just a couple minutes ago right here and we're going to check it out. I'm going to unbox it right here, right now. I just did like this and we're going to see what's inside. Good folks at Alpha Video sent us some stuff. On this set, we get The Visitor, The Case of Eddie Drake, The Files of Jeffrey George, and The Telltale Clue. Really, really cool stuff. Looking forward to that. The sun's kind of beating in there. We're in the car right now. But anyway, that is the Lost Mystery Classics. So yeah looking forward to that Thanks for Alpha Video for sending that one We looking forward to these Alright let see what else is in the package Alright, this is a Sherlock Holmes collection. I love Sherlock Holmes. I didn't love Sherlock Holmes at the beginning of my life. I wasn't a big fan, but then I began to enjoy Sherlock Holmes after watching Robert Dowdy Jr., his take on Sherlock Holmes. And then it kind of spurned my interest to go back and re-watch them, the older ones, because I'm older now. And so when I first watched them when I was real younger, I didn't like them that much. But, yeah, they're a lot better now. So, yeah, so on this one is Sherlock Holmes. It is a silent film collection. So yeah, you get three Sherlock Holmes silent films here. The Man with the Twisted Lip, The Devil's Foot, and The Dying Detective. Very, very cool. Now a lot of people say silent films. Come on, man. Silent films. You've got to be kidding me. Silent films get a really bad rap because people sit there and think, oh, silent films are terrible, but that's not really true. The actors in silent films had to be very, very good. much more tremendous actors than the actors even today because you couldn't speak. You couldn't bring across the things that you can now when you're acting. They were much better actors actually in silent film. This is pretty cool. This is really cool. This is John Ford's This Is Korea. Kind of a documentary type of thing. Looking really awesome. I love this. I love John Ford movies again full disclosure I wasn't a big fan of westerns throughout my life when I was a kid but as I've gotten older westerns are not as bad as what I once thought they were so this is really kind of cool looking forward to and yes this is not a western but John Ford's westerns are spectacular pieces of cinema and so I'm looking forward to checking out This is Korea from Alpha Video. Anytime you can get two films or more on a collection, I'm happy. This is classic literature brought to the screen. It is a Charles Dickens double feature DVD. This is Nicholas Nicholsby and David Copperfield. Two movies, one DVD. Awesome stuff. So yeah, Alpha Video is doing some really cool stuff.
