Hey guys and welcome to this Classic Cinema Magazine Treasure Hunters Report. Of course this is Pastor Jay here with you. bringing you some interesting things we picked up just today at our 50% off Goodwill sale. We love to go to Goodwill once a month. Every month they have a 50% off. And so videos are only a dollar. Unbelievable. So we picked up a pretty good nice little stack here of some stuff. So let's take a look at it. first off we have The Last Stand Arnold Schwarzenegger very interesting film I've actually never seen this but I don't mind Schwarzenegger in some things don't know a whole lot about the film not sure if it's any good or what it is about but anyway looks pretty good it does come with a digital copy of the film as you can see very cool so yeah pretty awesome little find Schwarzenegger I've always wanted this one haven't actually ever got it but now I do this is a classic of M. Light Shyamalan this is science I love this science fiction type of film not bad at all very very cool Mel Gibson in it very very good kind of film I enjoyed this from the very first time I watched it, just never have it on DVD. Well, now I do, so there you go. Signs. Alright. I'm a sucker for a good sports film, too. I love sports. All sports. You know, it doesn't matter what it is. I enjoy sports-related films. So, yeah, this one was not bad at all. This is Sandra Bullock. Based on a true story this is entitled The Blind Side I actually seen this before but this is actually a very very good film I love this film and very very good dramatic story and has a good theme and a good message to it and I love it So yeah, I've saw it before, but I never bought it, and I actually got it today, 50% off, not bad, the blind side. Alright, another kind of action-adventure type of film. Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan. Look at this one. Shanghai Knights. Actually, full disclosure, I haven't seen this one either, so this is going to be kind of an interesting one. I think, if you remember, if you've been watching the Treasure Hunter reports, I actually picked up a Jackie Chan version of Around the World in 80 Days recently. So this one will go in the collection with Jackie Chan films. So this is Shanghai Nights. Looking forward to checking this out for the very first time. Awesome. Alright. A lot of people hate this film. The Green Lantern. it's not that bad to me. I don't mind it. I actually, I actually enjoyed it in a way. I thought it was good for what it was. It's not, is it the greatest superhero film ever produced? Absolutely not. Not even close. But I think it was good for what it was. I kind of enjoyed it. I didn't think it was that bad. A lot of people give it a lot of grief. I enjoyed it. I don't know. But I have this on DVD, right? Well, guess what happened today? This happened today. That's right. A Blu-ray of the extended cut of the Green Lantern. Now, when I saw this, I was like, well, I got it on DVD. Do I really need to upgrade it? And I was like, well, it's a dollar. And it the extended cut It got all kinds of bonus features I enjoy it Let go for it So yeah for a dollar yeah I upgraded it to a Blu today So yeah I usually don do this If I have it on DVD I usually that enough I don't buy, a lot of people do. They'll buy Blu-ray just to buy Blu-ray just to have it and whatever. It's an upgrade. I usually don't do that. I mean, if I have it on DVD, that's perfectly fine. I don't need Blu-ray just to have Blu-ray just to say I have Blu-ray. I don't need that. but yeah for a dollar and it's an extended cut and I don't know much about it whether the extended cut is going to make it that much make it that any different I don't know but we'll find out but yeah so for a buck I went ahead and pulled the trigger on that and got an extended cut of Green Lantern I enjoy the film so we'll see what it's like but anyway only a dollar I am not complaining Alright, this is our final one, but I've seen this several times at our local Goodwill, but I don't know much about it. So I was like, I don't want to pay for it. I don't want to do it. Multi-packs, like season formats or several films or whatever the case may be, are usually $3. and I just I didn't know the show enough to to try to even worry about it but then when it came up the 50% off sale I was like well if it's there it's 50% off I might take a chance at it well lo and behold it was still there and lo and behold didn't she uh the lady the the checkout lady actually give this to me for $2 and 50% off. So yeah, so I got it for cheaper than I actually thought I was going to get it. And it's the first season of a show called Trauma. I actually have never seen this series. I don't know much about it. I've never seen it. So if it's any good, I don't know, we'll have to wait and find out but it is really pretty amazing trauma for only a dollar now, it is got the slip cover, which is kind of cool got the little slip cover and then inside it's like this got the four DVDs there and they all look spectacular they don even look like they been even used at all so uh yeah that pretty cool and uh actually if you take all the disc outs, which I'm not gonna do, but there's a scene in behind, which is really cool, which I like, um, yeah, so, uh, I, I, I just thought, eh, well, let's face it, I was going to pay a buck fifty for it, so being that I got it for a buck, hey, I'm not even complaining about that, but yeah, so trauma, very interesting, it's basically like the cases of rescue workers, you know, medical rescue workers, kind of a drama, so So, yeah, I'll take a chance at it. Not a bad deal. So, yeah, so we added that. So those are the things we added to the Classic Cinema Archives today. So, you know, what do you think? What are you finding?
