Transcript: Overcoming Life's Obstacles with Christian Faith and Perseverance

Hello everyone, I hope that you are having a good one. On this week's Praise Drum Cover, I'm going to do things just a little different this week. And this is by request. A friend of mine, Mike, had made a comment in one of the drum covers that he missed seeing the little messages that I used to use in the weekly Praise Drum Cover. So by request, I'm going to do a little short message today. I hope that it's a blessing. I hope that it's strength. I hope that it helps you to conquer or to press through to conquer. And that's the title of the message today, To Press Through to Conquer. And I also have a YouTube channel of messages, and it's entitled Preach On. I will leave a link to that at the end of this and maybe down in the description below. But if you would like to join that page, you are welcome. But folks, at this time, let's get into the message. I hope that it touches you. I hope that it is strength to you. And my friend, have a good one. Hello, everyone. I hope that you are blessed. I hope that you are having a good one. You know, I started into my drum building today, and I had a little incident on the outside of the door. Above and even my drum building, obviously there were some bees that decided to, or wasps, decided to build them the nest. And they had a few in there working, just working away, knitting that thing together. Well there was a whole swarm of them guarding You know I kind of thought it was their state department working here A few doing the work the rest of them telling them how I guess But no, seriously, I highly appreciate the state department that gets out and tries to keep her roads where we can get in our vehicles and travel from point A to point B. I just said that as a joke. So I saw these bees are swarming. And, you know, I had to run them stupid things off before I could get into my drum building, which I'm here now. So I've done a few little things, sprayed and swatted at them, if that's a word, until they finally left. You say, where are you going with this thing? Well, hang on. So I began to think, them things are a hindrance. Them bees are hindering me. I had a free day. I had a day that I could go to my drum building and record. I also have a minister channel. Preach on. This is what you're watching here. And I'd either do messages or play drums, do drum covers. whichever one that I do. And I couldn't get into my building from that swarm of bees, so I had to take care of the problem. You see where I'm going at with this, my friend? Sometimes in life, and most times in life, we have hindrance, things that hinder us from accomplishing the goal that we are out to accomplish. If it be in a day's time, if it be throughout our life, we are going to have hindrance like them stinking bees out here at the corner of my building right in the doorway I couldn even get in to do what I wanted to do You know, in life, my friend, we have things that hinder us, that hold us back. And sometimes we will just have to stop, take care of it, to where we can go on and to accomplish what we are accomplishing. You know, I didn't turn around and go back in the house and say, well, I can't get in my drum building because of the swarm of bees. You know, I put my mind at thinking, begin to think at what could I do to get rid of these stinking bees. And so, as I've already said, I've sprayed, done what I needed to do to get rid of them, to get to where that I needed to do what I aimed to do that day. And my friend, whatever you are facing in life, whatever has come your way, that is a hindering you to trying to stop you from going forth, I say deal with it. You know, allow the Lord to help you, to give you wisdom and knowledge on how to go about doing it. Don't just do, but be led out of the Spirit and the power of God to how to take care of the thing. And don't just lay down and quit and expect, you know, well, we expect God to do it sometimes. We just lay down and say, while I'm waiting on you, You know, sometimes we need to move. We need to ask God, what action do I take to overcome and to overcome the attack of the enemy that I might go forth in the life that I'm living, that I might go forth and accomplish what I set out to do, what You ordained me to do. You know, my friend, I don't know what you are facing today. I don't know what is standing in your way of your accomplishments. You know it can be many things what you trying to accomplish But it may seem that you at a standstill All hell might be coming against you right now to hinder you from going forth into where that you are trying to get into things that you are trying to accomplish. But I'm telling you, press on. You know, the song goes in Jesus' name, I press on. You know, the good book tells us that we press on to the mark of the Bible. We press through in Jesus' name. We press on. You know, we don't lay down and quit. You take the lady with the issue of blood. You know, the doctors gave up on her and said there's nothing we can do about it. We don't have the care for you. But she knew a man who could. But here was a lady that was sick that didn't feel like pressing. that didn't feel like getting to her source of her healing or her breakthrough, if you will. But she knew who He was. She knew what the source was. And there were other people that had needs as well that was in the crowd. She pressed through the crowd to get to her source or to get to the Lord that she might be healed. And by her determination, by her pressing through, she was healed. Your faith has made you whole. Your effort put forth. You now have victory because you pressed through. My friend, press through. Don't give up. Don't let the enemy have it. He ain't got it. The Lord's got it. You got it. You be determined in the press on. and to do what it takes to accomplish what you are set out to do. Have a good one. May the Lord bless and keep you. Have a good one, my friend.
