Music My Sunday school teacher said, If I say a prayer and ask Jesus into my heart, I can live forever. Can I do it too? Mmm, well, you can, but I don't think it'll work. Why not? Well, it didn't seem right. What do you mean? She said you can do anything you like after you say the prayer. God has to save you. Really? Still sin? Like tell lies and stuff like that? Yeah, even killing people. No way. God's not that stupid. He wants us to be good. Yeah, I was thinking that too. But nobody's perfect. Yeah, that's true. Remember the time I got mad and kicked you? Remember it? It still hurts. So, if God forgives me for doing that, maybe he can forgive me for anything Is that what she meant Maybe But that different You were sorry after you kicked me If you wasn sorry how can God forgive you Well, he's God. He can do it if he wanted to. Yep, he could, but he won't. He don't want us to be bad. He wants us to be good. Easy peasy. Try to be good and he'll forgive you even if you're not. But if you don't try, he won't forgive you. Yeah, that makes a lot more sense. And you know what? I'm still sorry for kicking you. That's okay. God forgives me when I do bad things.
