Transcript: Christian Movie Reviews: March 2020 DVD & Blu-ray Unboxing

Greetings, Classic Cinema fans. This is Pastor Jay here with you once again. We appreciate you joining us today on this journey. We have a little unboxing we're going to do today. New package from the good folks at Mill Creek Entertainment. I know some of you are looking at this package and saying, What in the world happened? We can't blame this on the mail carriers. We have a little puppy. We call her Jasmine Ariel. Yes, from the Disney princesses. But anyway, she likes to get the mail. So we went to the mailbox, and there it was. And so we let her bring it to the house. And about halfway, she got disgusted and just decided, I don't feel like carrying it no more and decided to try to chew up the package and get inside. So that's why you're seeing this. Thankfully, she didn't open it up. She didn't get in anything. Everything's intact. So that's good. But we're going to unbox it. These are the March releases from Mill Creek Entertainment. All of these releases will be coming to classiccinemamagazine.blogspot.com for four reviews. So let's jump right into it. Alright, first one in the package. Alright, this is Mill Creek Entertainment has been releasing a lot of these lesser indie horror and sci-fi type films. This is another one. This is Lights, Camera, Run. This is American Zombieland. Yeah, really interesting. so yeah this is one of those B horror independent really low budget horror films so some people really enjoy these and you know we'll see what this looks like see what the picture is like see what the audio and the visuals and the story and all that and we'll see what that's like and we'll let you know what this one looks like on DVD and if you want to pick that up for your collection Alright, what else is in the package? Alright, Before It Finds You. Ooh, this sounds interesting. Okay, another kind of a lower budget type of film. This is Woman on the Edge. This is an investigative journalist puts her own life at risk when she discovers that there may be a link between the recent death of her sister and a number of murders that are set up to look like suicides So kind of a thriller drama mystery. So that's kind of cool. Woman on the Edge, that one's going to be coming to review at Classic Cinema Magazine. Alright, what else is in the package? All right. Let's see. We're just pulling out. All right. Here we go. Oh, this is really cool. Okay. Mill Creek released all of the Benji movies on Blu-ray DVD combo packs, but some people like to just have them in slimline cases. Well, look at this. You have been... Your prayers have been answered. This is the whole Benji collection on DVD. So there you go. That is Benji. It is Benji, the original classic, For the Love of Benji, Benji Off the Leash, and Benji's very own Christmas special. All four of these on DVD. Very, very cool. so yeah there you go that's pretty cool so yeah if you're a fan of Benji then there you go that's pretty cool Mill Creek taking care of everybody all across the board what else is in the package oh I love this I was looking forward to this this is one that I was really looking forward to this month I like biblical epics And this is Biblical Epic. This is In the Beginning and Noah's Ark. These are miniseries events, if I am not mistaken. Yeah, these are the miniseries events. Very, very cool TV miniseries. In the Beginning and Noah's Ark. Very, very cool. And great actors are in this. In the beginning, we get Martin Landau. I mean, who didn't love Martin Landau? He's an amazing actor. Jacqueline Bissette is in this as well. In Noah's Ark, starring Jon Voight. Very cool. And Mary Steenburgen, F. Murray Abraham. Great actors and actresses in this double feature set here. In the beginning in Noah's Ark. So very cool. Yeah, I'm looking forward to that. I have always loved these type of things. These films like this. I'm looking forward to that. Alright, what else? It feels like two more. Two more is in the package. What else? Alright. Well Ultraman fans rejoice Here another Ultraman release This is Ultraman Orb the movie Uh, yeah. People have been really just digging these Ultraman releases. I have to, I have to be honest with you. I have never really got to see the Ultraman series at all. I mean, I think I might have watched like maybe a couple clips of an episode, but I never really got to watch them because back in the day I was only, you know, not really into kaiju and stuff like that. So, yeah, it was, I'm not getting into that, you know. So then as I got older, I started getting into more of the kaiju, like the original Godzilla, Mothra, and the different monster movies from Japan. They're so cool. And then I started to have that love for that. And then as Mill Creek has been deciding to do the Ultraman, I've been watching them for the first time. And these are amazing, amazing TV series and movies and things. Very, very cool stuff. So anyway, this is the Ultraman movie, Ultraman Orb, the movie. Very, very cool. It is one Blu-ray disc. Very, very cool. it's 111 minutes long so kind of a mini movie but a short movie so yeah that's going to be really cool and that has look at all the Ultraman on the back that is really cool look at that that is so cool I love it so yeah Ultraman the movie Ultraman Orb the movie I should say alright that is pretty awesome Alright, one more in the package. And this is... Alright, Ultraman fans, here we go. Final one in the package. There we go. Ultraman Geed, the movie. Pretty cool. We haven't been opening all these, but we'll open up the Ultraman because some of you are really, really big Ultraman fans. so we'll let you see inside those. This is Ultraman Geed, the movie, Connect the Wishes. Very, very cool. That artwork is just spectacular. Wow. So cool. And the artwork on the back is absolutely stellar Just amazing So yeah and I do want to make sure that everybody knows that these two are as always are with the um Japanese language and then they have English subtitles, that's, that's what they do, because English dubbing would be a little bit more expensive to have to fool with, and so, so, uh, we don't, they don't go into that, uh, it is a little bit of a shame, because, uh, I enjoy, I don't know, it's just something about that, um, that weird English dubbing that I enjoy from the, uh, the kaiju films, I don't know, I just, I love them, uh, when, when, you know, you have that Godzilla, uh, Godzilla is a thing! And, you know, it's just, I don't know, it's just something, I just love it, uh, so that is a little bit of a shame that we don't get English dubbing, but you know, the cool thing is these movies and these TV series, they're just amazing, and yeah, so Mill Creek has done an amazing job giving us these, oh, I love it, so wow, we got some work to do this month, don't we? Yeah, look at all this, yeah, got some work to do, but that's cool. We want to thank Mill Creek Entertainment for sending all these our way for the month March.
