Transcript: Donald Trump and Biblical Prophecy: Savior or Antichrist Explained

Hi, I'm training to be an end time survivor by listening and learning so that I can live during the last days. Now you've probably noticed that YouTube is riddled with videos claiming virtually every world leader is the Antichrist. But with Donald Trump, there were almost as many videos before the election and more since saying that he is going to rescue Christians everywhere from evil forces that are opposed to Christianity. Note that many of these so-called Christian leaders are really only interested in how Donald Trump could make America and them rich. In that respect, Trump may prove to be more helpful than anyone was on the left. While it is tempting to criticize the people who jump from one leader to another as new presidents and prime ministers arise, It is helpful to understand a significant reason why such erratic prophets continue to gain support despite their track record. The truth is that there is a good case for the Antichrist label for virtually all political leaders. What many people miss ahead of time is that the Antichrist can also come from the political ideology that they support, whether left or right. Running from a sketchy leader on one end of the spectrum can lead us into a trap arising on the other end This is an important lesson for anyone who is looking to the political system for a savior as the American evangelical right did in the last election Father, we thank you in the name of Jesus that you raise up a man for such a time as this. God, we ask you right now that your choice is this choice. What I'm saying is that the fear of the devil is the one thing most certainly destined to land you in the devil's lap. While Christians run away from evil on the left, they bump into a surprisingly similar evil on the right. And the opposite is true too. Running in fear of fascism can lead to abuses in socialism. Years ago, in a university course I was taking, a student asked the teacher to explain the difference between the extreme left and the extreme right. And the teacher said that most people were not aware that rather than extending out in totally opposite directions, both the left and the right extremes tend to bend around in a circle, kind of behind your back, where they both turn into a totalitarian government. My own position is that lukewarmness doesn't solve the problems either. Nevertheless, the totalitarian image of the Antichrist fits in perfectly with either extreme. I believe that Donald Trump represents as much of a threat to Christianity on the right as Hillary or Obama ever represented on the left. It's just sad that the religious world cannot see that, possibly because they are more interested in a leader who will bring prosperity than they are in a leader who will bring a revival of faith in Jesus And will help us economically and spiritually and in every way in this nation So today we pray for Donald Trump. Jesus said to Nicodemus, who was a ruler of the Jews, that he needed to be born again in order to see the kingdom that Jesus represented. How ironic that the very people who are promoting the Jewish kingdom and who campaigned for the Trump kingdom are the ones who claim most strongly to have been born again. Nothing could demonstrate more dramatically the emptiness of that claim than their eagerness to enter politics and their flag-waving defense for both America and Israel, while the true kingdom of heaven remains largely undetected. undetected. What America and the whole world needs is to be born again. That is, to discover the invisible kingdom of faith and love that Jesus preached. A kingdom where martyrdom is part and parcel of God's plan for salvation for the world. I will give a very practical illustration of how impossible it is to support one side in politics over the other. People on the right believe that sexual morality can be controlled through legislation, that greed cannot and should not be controlled through legislation, and that it is evil to kill unborn fetuses, even in the earliest stages of pregnancy. But it is noble to kill soldiers from other countries, under instructions from your own country People on the left believe that you cannot legislate sexual morality that you can control greed through legislation that it is evil to kill people from other countries just because their leaders are corrupt, and that the right to kill unborn children should be solely at the discretion of the mother. A Christian, well anyone searching for the truth, would have to recognize that there is truth on both sides and that the contradictions show that there is also a lot of insincerity on both sides. In fact, the truth is never going to be found politically, where a biased lust for power invariably hampers any search for the truth. What we each must do is to cultivate an inner response to the leadings of God's Spirit, endeavoring to show love and courage in every situation. In the Kingdom of Heaven, God awards more points for integrity than he does for the growth of organizations. Let us never forget that.
