Mrs. Jones, I've got something I need to talk to you about. Now, you know I've been doing this radio show every morning for quite a while, the Morning Express, right on our local Christian radio station, right? Right. Okay. I've got a big opportunity here. Okay, the radio station is looking to do some major kind of weird promotion, right? They want to have one of their DJs break the record for most consecutive hours on the air at one time. Now, 48 hours is how long this DJ is going to go on the air. Guess who they asked to do this? I gather it's you. That's right. I'm the boy. I'm the dude. I'm going to be the one. I'm going to work. I'm going to be on the air 48 hours straight. Do you realize that's two days? Well, yeah. 48 hours, 24 hours, 48, two days, yeah. I know that. That's a long time without a break. Look, I can do this. I can do this. I know I can. Now, the only reason I'm really bringing this to you, though, is they want to do this on Friday. So I've got to start Friday morning and go until Sunday morning. And you think you can do that when you know that you've got to come right off the air and go right in and go right into preaching? You can do it. Look, I believe what the Bible says. I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me. So I believe I can do this. I really do. I believe I can do this. I think this is going to be really good. Anyway. Well, okay. But, I mean, you know, we have to use common sense. But, okay, you're going to need all the help God can give you. Believe who you are. Well, okay. But, anyway, I really wanted to ask you if you could do me a huge, humongous favor for these next couple days. Okay. What's the favor? I can't take care of Jasmine While I'm on the air So can you take care of Jasmine for me I have no problem I'll take care of Jasmine I'll get you the food I'll get you everything that she needs Just take care of her for me And I would appreciate it And then I'll see you guys back here Sunday Okay No, okay I'll bless you and take care of you I'll tell you It's going to be fine. It's going to be fine. It's going to be fine. I promise. All right. Thanks a lot. Appreciate it. Okay. He's going to need all the help he can get. One day at a time. Well, good morning, everyone. We have been told we need to do these tongue twisters as the hours go on. So this is the tongue twister we have been given. So here we go. She sells seashells by the seashore. Well, that was easy. Hey, give me a tough one, will you? Let's go, people. Let's do this. We're running. We're rolling. We're doing it on the Morning Express here with Pastor Jay. Let's go on with more great gospel music on the countdown. We're at hour number 24. Halfway there. Halfway there. Wow. And we got some news that we got to tell you about from our community here at the top of the hour. I can't believe we're halfway there. Let's do this. Here's the news. We all know that the bridge has finally been completed after many, many, many months of being in construction. And they finally cut the ribbon and everything was good. and the bridge is completed. And one of the workers was asked in this completion was, what are you going to do now after these long, long months of working? And he responded with sleep. Sleep. Yeah, sleep. In a bed, right? Yeah, in a bed. Nice warm bed. Nice soft bed. With a nice soft pillow. And a nice warm comforter. Curled up. Like a little baby in a crib snoring away I ain gonna make it I ain't got a whole 24 hours yet to go. More music. Get to the music. Go to the music. I can't handle it. Okay, I apologize for that breakdown we had, but we're back. We're rolling. We're rolling. We're okay. We're going to be fine. We're going to be fine. They told me that I need to do this tongue twister again, so here we go. See, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, try that again. She sells she shells by the seashore. Well, that was pretty close anyway. I think I got it pretty close. Anyway, we're going to continue on with more great gospel music on this countdown as we stay with you for the rest of this time, 48 hours straight. I'm not going to make it. We're in the homestretch. This is hour number 38 and just 10 hours to go. and this is Pastor Jay on the Morning Express and let's talk about what is going on with him. Don't worry about it, sir. I've been monitoring him for the last few hours and he does this on and off. It's like he freezes up like a computer and then he kind of reboots and then he's fine. Are you sure about this? Yes, I'm positive, sir. Wait, wait, here it comes. Three, two, one. Community events. And in the community, we have some bake sales going on at our local churches, raising money for good causes. We also have some revivals coming up in our local community, so you may want to check that out on our community calendar events page. and you may want to check that all out. So go there and check that out. And we're going to continue on with more great gospel music here as we count down the final hours on the Morning Express 48 hours straight. 48 hours straight. Hour number 44. Pastor Jay here with you with only four hours left to go and we're going to try to hold in there. We're going to try to hang in there, but it's getting tough. They told us we got to do this one more time, so here goes the tongue twister. See, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, hmm. Hmm. All right, let's try that again. She She Hmm Hmm Ah Pfft Okay Sea shells Shells no that not it either She sells seashells by the seashore I think I got it I got a question. Who is this sea, she, girl, woman, female? And why is she selling the seashells by the seashore? And furthermore, who are these people that are buying these seashells? Don't they realize that they can just go down to the seashore and get their own seashells? These are questions that I want answers to. Somebody help me. Let's continue on with gospel music on this countdown for the final four hours. And we are on the final countdown. We are about a minute left here until we hit the magic number 48. Unbelievable. I can't believe it. We're there. But we have this announcement we've got to let you know about. Little Judy Ann has lost her little black and white puppy, Muffin. Oh, little Muffin. Little Muffin ran away. Oh, Little Muffin. Are you listening, Little Muffin? Are you out there, Little Muffin? Muffin, come on home. Little Judy Ann loves you. She wants you. Oh, she wants you, Little Judy Ann. Oh, come on home, Little Muffin. I can't believe it. And that's it. Pastor Jay has done it. He has lasted the 48 hours straight broadcasting.
