Greetings, classic cinema and TV fans. This is Pastor Jay here with you once again, bringing you another Flashback Friday. Today we're talking about a sci-fi classic that we love. A couple days ago was Back to the Future Day. And today, yes, we're going to talk about it on Flashback Friday, Back to the Future. What an amazing, amazing trilogy of films. I love this. I love this trilogy of films. Who doesn't, really? I guess there may be somebody out there. But this is really a great, great, epic trilogy of films. Back to the Future is a staple. It is so amazing to think that a film from 1980s could still be loved and respected and be a thing in culture in 2020 It still so so epic Well we I remember the first time I ever watched this I watched this on TV and fell in love with it I was too young to really enjoy it when it first came out in theaters. I, you know, just a baby at the time. So I didn't really get to watch this till way later in the 90s. But wow, what an amazing, amazing film, Back to the Future, truly is. It really made Michael J. Fox into a star. It really did. It put him in our hearts forever, and we will always think of him as Marty McFly. And, wow, Christopher Lloyd, known for playing many, many amazing characters, including Jim on Taxi, but wow, he will always be, for all of us now, Doc Brown. I mean, wow. Just an amazing trilogy. Love this, love this trilogy. First film takes place as Marty McFly goes back in time to meet his parents and see what they like and try to and when it inadvertently changes his whole life not really realizing it And then as he changes life at the end Doc Brown comes back and says something's got to be done about your kids. And they head off to the future. And wow, what an amazing ride. We get to see amazing stuff going on in the future of 2015. That's hard to believe, 2015. And many of the things that we thought that they said we'd have, we don't have. No, we don't have hoverboards. No, we don't have flying cars. No, we don't have any of those things yet. Yet. Maybe someday. I don't know. We'll see. Yeah, don't buy into the hype of what we say are hoverboards. And we're not hoverboards. They're not hoverboards. Anyway, but at the end of Back to the Future, two, we find that Doc Brown gets stuck into the past, the way past the old west, and Marty has to do something to get Doc Brown back to real life in 1985 Wow it just a perfect trilogy in my opinion Is it for the kids No I do have to take that We have to take that into consideration There is some adult language in this, so you have to be very, very careful with it. But wow, what a great series. As your kids get a little older and they can handle some of the off-color language and some of the stuff that's a little bit off that we don't like, it'll be cool. But definitely, what are your thoughts of Back to the Future, the trilogy? Let us know in the comments below. Also, be sure to like, share, and subscribe, and let us know what you think. We would appreciate it. Be sure to go to retroac.blogspot.com every single day and check out some reviews and news and all kinds of stuff. And until we see you next time with another Flashback Friday, this is Pastor Jay reminding you that if you want to see a great film, check out a classic, something like Back to the Future, and we'll see you next time. Bye everyone. Have a blessed day.
