I love this episode. This is really a really fun episode. Herman wants to go to his military reunion with all of his military friends, but he wants to wear his uniform, but he can't because he's put on a little weight. And so he decides it's time for a diet. So he goes on this crash diet, and little did he realize Thanksgiving was this week. Oh, no. What's a monster to do? Well, Grandpa has an idea. He ties him up in the dungeon and straps him down so that he can't eat and binge on food. Well, that is, maybe he didn't think about how hunger can make you do crazy things. Herman breaks out and goes and eats everybody at the next door neighbor's complete Thanksgiving meal. It's hilarious. It's a fun episode. It's so funny. It is so great. It's just a really, really cute episode. It really deserves to be watched. If you've never seen that, it is so funny. It is very, very good. This is from season two of That Girl Yeah this is a very cute cute episode This is Thanksgiving Comes But Once a Year hopefully Really, really a cute series is that girl. Marlo Thomas, the daughter of the late, great Danny Thomas. Here Marlo Thomas plays Anne Marie, an actress in New York trying to make her way. But here she wants to be the one to cook the Thanksgiving meal for her family and her boyfriend's family. And so she's wanting to have everybody over to her apartment. But little does she realize that everybody wants their own specific thing. They want certain kind of dressing. They want certain kind of turkey and goose. And so she tries to appease everybody by making two different meals. And it's just crazy. But it is so much fun. It really is a really, really good episode. This is Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from Season 1, the episode entitled Talking Turkey. In this episode, the children, the young kids, Carlton and Will and Ashley and Hillary, they are going to cook Thanksgiving meal. Oh, no. Talk about a recipe for disaster. Oh, yeah. And it truly was. What comes out is one of the worst Thanksgiving meals you could ever think of. But in the process, there is so much fun in this episode. It really does deserve number five on the top seven list of the top Thanksgiving Day episodes. This is from season three of Alice. Let's try that again. Coming in at number four, this is from season three of Alice. This is the episode, Who Ordered Hot Turkeys? This is a really interesting episode in which Mel is going to have a Thanksgiving dinner for orphans. And he orders buys some turkeys but then comes to find out the turkeys are stolen Wow what a fun episode This really is really really cute You got Mel you got Alice you got Flo you got Vera All of them are there, and it's so much fun. It really is a great episode, and it's a lot of fun. The Bob Newhart Show from Season 4. This episode is entitled Over the River and Through the Woods. It's really, really an interesting episode in which Emily goes to her family for Thanksgiving and Bob stays behind and he and his buddies Jerry and Howard come on over for Thanksgiving. But lo and behold, so does Mr. Carlin. And if you've watched that show, you know how crazy Mr. Carlin is. Well, they all get together, and Jerry brings over some special concoction that he made to drink, and lo and behold, they all get a little bit tipsy, and they order some Chinese food, and little do they realize how much they actually ordered. It's really a cute, fun episode. It really is a lot of fun to watch, and that's why we put this episode at number three on the top seven list. This is the series Flo, a very, very short-lived series, but there's a two-part episode for Thanksgiving, and this is really, really cool. It is entitled A Castleberry Thanksgiving. And in this episode, Flo's estranged father comes by for Christmas. And wow, truly Thanksgiving is for Christmas. Truly Thanksgiving is for family, but maybe this one doesn't go quite as well as they thought. Really a fun episode. It has a lot of heart to it. It has some very interesting thoughts about it. It really deserves to be checked out. It a flow a castleberry Thanksgiving Yeah it worth checking out Coming in at number one my absolute favorite Thanksgiving episode It's from WKRP in Cincinnati. It is entitled, Turkeys Away. So interesting. All the newer talent that has come to WKRP in Cincinnati has these great, interesting ideas of how to promote and how to do things, but Mr. Carlson wants to prove that he's still got some game. So he comes up with an amazing giveaway, a turkey giveaway, but little did he not realize turkeys can't fly. What? It is so absurd and so funny and so crazy and less reporting what's going on is just so off the wall and so crazy. Every part of this episode is just so fun. It is really, really a great episode, and that's why WKRP in Cincinnati comes in at number one with their episode, Turkeys Away. Do you agree with our list? Let us know in the comments.
