Music Music There is no way of imparting the truth of God's Word to you without coursing through various scriptures. So, in this word today, please, let's get on this horse and ride it together in order to understand this message entitled, Accuser of the Brethren. bear with me as you hear vital truths in these scriptures which bring divine life and inspiration if you are a serious seeker of your risen Lord. Some time ago, as I was meditating on God's word, precious Holy Spirit dropped the scripture in Revelation 12.10 into my heart. I felt the power of God from the very top of my head to the soles of my feet, and it washed over me like living waters. Please look with me in Revelation 12.10. Revelation 12.10 Then I heard a strong, loud voice in heaven saying, Now it has come, the salvation and the power and the kingdom, the dominion, the reign of the salvation of our God, and the power, the sovereignty and authority of His Christ, the Messiah. For the accuser of our brethren, who keeps bringing before us God's charges against them day and night. For the accuser of the brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You see, when this scripture flooded my being, the Spirit of God imparted a deeper understanding. Or maybe we could say the Word began to live and have vibrant substance in the very depth of my being. And this is called fresh manna from heaven. as this scripture washed over me I was given a deeper understanding that when the redeemed of the Lord commit sin it opens the door for Satan the devil to have a right to accuse them Satan has a legal right and there is more dear Saints either Satan himself steps up to the plate to accuse you and find fault and bring charges against you either he does it or he has his human agents do his dirty work for him these people would be called the enemies of the cross and the phrase of our brethren here in this scripture refers to Christians who are the people of God and the meaning here in in this scripture depicting one of the main characteristics of Satan that he is so well known for is that he is the accuser of the righteous and I want to tell you and make it very clear that Satan is employed in bringing charges against God's people and especially those who have come into a place of intimate fellowship with their lord satan has great hope of affecting their character and destroying their influence it has always been one of the main characteristics of satan and one by which he keeps up his influence in the world and that is to bring accusations against the people of god the scripture says day and night he never ceases bringing these accusations revelation 12 10 here it again i heard a loud voice in saying in heaven say now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our god and the authority of his christ for the accuser of our brothers who accuses them before our god day and night has been hurled down verse 11 they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death but the scripture shows us by their holy lives by their righteous conduct and by their faithful testimony by their patient sufferings the precious Saints showed that all of the accusations were false and these dear people of God show that the religion or doctrine which they profess was from God the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob and because of their faithful endurance they gain victory over their accuser hallelujah by the blood of the lamb the Lord Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world the precious blood of Christ was how and by which they were redeemed and it is by the atonement of the lamb that the saints of God were and are now able to win the victory. Jesus Christ himself achieved victory over Satan by his death. And because of that, we are now able to triumph over our great foe, Satan the devil. Praise God! Satan is the great accuser. And the key for you and me today as Christians is to resist him. Let me say it again. Satan is the great accuser and the key that we have been given is to resist him as Christians. God provides you the armor of protection to defend us while this fighting is going on but those without Christ have no armor with which to shield the enemy's attacks they know absolutely nothing of the sweetness of his protection so if they are not sitting at the table of communion with Christ they are sitting at the devil's table the goat you could say must graze or eat where it is tied. And the sinner likewise must feed on the earthly things because he is staked to the earth by his fleshly or carnal heart. But we, as one of Christ's own, have a hope for higher things than this world can offer. We have a promissory note written in the Holy Spirit's own hand. this promissory note assures us of the sure victory that we are winners already hallelujah and the helmet of salvation if we put it on and the shield of faith if we lift it up will repel a whole shower of the devil's arrows i am delighted to say as a reminder to some and to others as foundational truth jesus christ is seated at the right hand of the father as your mediator and as your intercessor day and night and when you truly begin living for christ and are making firm decisions based on truth and your heart is turning to the one whom you were created for. Jesus, in effect, will tell Satan to get lost. And when he brings accusations against you, Jesus will command and rebuke Satan to get back. Jesus told Simon Peter in Luke 22, 31, when the devil had come to him repeatedly to have permission to sift Peter, jesus spoke in luke 22 31 saying simon simon peter listen satan has asked excessively that all of you be given up to him out of the power and keeping of god that he might sift all of you like grain but i have prayed especially for you peter that your own faith may not fail and when you yourself have turned again and strengthened and established your brethren. You see, by this scripture, we can see when we sin, we separate ourselves from God. It is not God who moves, dear ones, but we do. And this is why it is so important to implement and practice the truth once we hear it. And probably one of the greatest accounts in Scripture regarding the protection and the intervention of God's omnipotence is found in the story of Job's life. In Job 1.8, please look with me, Job 1.8. The Lord said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him. He is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. Does Job fear God for nothing? Satan replied. Have you not put a hedge around him and his stronghold and everything he has? And have you blessed the work of his hands so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land? Verse 11. but stretch out your hand and strike everything he has and he will surely curse you to your face the lord said to satan very well then everything he has is in your hands but on the man himself do not lay a finger then satan went out from the presence of the lord now dropping down to job 2 3 the lord said to satan have you considered my servant job there is no one on earth like him he is blameless and upright a man who fears god and shuns evil and he still maintains his integrity though you incited me against him to ruin him without reason satan is an accuser and he's good at it. Whether he is waiting to accuse you and have a right because of an open door, or to use others to slander or malign you, many people foolishly provide the accuser with ammunition for his rightful place seeking those whom he may devour, as the scripture says. People who give the enemy right are those who subtly and cleverly try to destroy God's work and people's faith by causing division. The scripture is quite clear in its dealings with people like this. God hates division, and this is why Satan was cast out of the most privileged place that is heaven. Let us see what God tells us in his word to do with people who persist in causing division in the church. In Titus 3.10. Titus 3.10. As for a man who is factious, after admonishing him a first and second time, reject him from your fellowship and have nothing to do with him. well aware that such a person has utterly changed is perverted and corrupted he goes on sinning though he is convicted of guilt and self-condemned well the living bible says it this way if anyone is causing divisions among you he should be given first and a second warning and after that have nothing to do with him for such a person has a wrong sense of values he is sinning and he knows it well romans 16 17 and other scriptures i said we were going to course through a few scriptures and laying our foundation and this word romans 16 17 and now there is one more thing to say before i am this letter stay away from those who cause divisions and are upsetting people's faith and Paul again in another scripture Galatians 5 7 Paul states you were getting along so well who has interfered with you to hold you back from following the truth It certainly isn't God who has done it, for he is the one who called you to freedom in Christ. Verse 9, but it takes only one wrong person among you to infect all the others. I am trusting the Lord to bring you back to believing as I do about these things. god will deal with that person whoever he is who has ever been troubling and confusing you well there is a saying that we have one bad apple will spoil the whole bunch if it is not removed you see verse 9 says it takes only one wrong person among you to infect all the others An apostle Paul was endeavoring with all that within him to build Jesus into people through the word of God. division in the way of murmuring against God's leadership or his people, whether it be subtle or in itself pity but unteachable approach, or half-truths or full-blown campaign to entrap through sensual or sexual means, and or even an Absalom coup in attempting to dethrone God's leadership. See Titus 3.10 again, just to remind you, says if anyone is causing divisions among you, he should be given a first and second warning. After that, have nothing more to do with him. For such a person has a wrong sense of values. He is sinning and he knows it. I would like to make a comment on the point of half-truths. People who tell half-truths must know it is most dangerous because it is the most seductive form of delusion. The half-truth, when presented, usually excludes the suspicion of deception, which one is endeavoring to present. A lie is a lie, and all liars deserve eternal death. If telling half-truths is a personal weakness in your own life, I pray this exhortation be a wake-up call to the seriousness of the self-deception, but also the seductive form of delusion being perpetrated on others. This is a deadly sin. It must be uprooted and eradicated in our lives in order to live in the abundance of God's blessing. If your own heart or conscience does not accuse you, then the enemy's accusations against you cannot stand. And I strongly urge you then to take up Job's words of resolve and declare it as Job did in Job 27, verse 6, when he said, I am not a sinner. I repeat it again and again. My conscience is clear for as long as I live. And those who declare otherwise are my wicked enemies. They are evil men. I want to encourage your faith with a few scriptures of how God Almighty himself steps in as a mighty fortress and defense for his own who are truly walking in a sincere and devoted life after the ways of God. In the book of Daniel 720, Daniel in a vision was seeing Satan the adversary who is represented as a horn. Now remember For horn is symbolic of authority. Daniel 7, verse 21. As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and defeating them. Verse 22. Until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High. And the time came when they possessed the kingdom. hallelujah hallelujah oh that ought to encourage us that does me revelation 12 verse 7 another scripture huh another scripture revelation 12 7 and there was a war in heaven michael and his angels fought against the dragon and the dragon and his angels fought back verse 8 but he was not strong enough and they lost their place in heaven the great dragon was hurled down that ancient serpent called the devil or Satan who leads the whole world astray was hurled to the earth and his angels with him then I heard a loud voice in heaven say now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ for the accuser of our brethren who accuses them before our God day and night has been hurled down they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death therefore rejoice you heavens and you who dwell in them but woe to the earth and the sea because the devil has gone down to you. He is filled with fury because he knows his time is short. Dear church, be encouraged and rejoice for Jesus took back the keys for you, for me, and he took the authority from Satan the devil and he has legal right to protect you and step in for your divine protection. He has legal right. Look with me, please, in Zechariah 3, verse 1, to see how the Lord dealt with Satan when he came to accuse his chosen man, Joshua. Zechariah 3, verse 1, Then the angel showed me in my vision, Joshua, the high priest, standing before the angel of the Lord. And Satan was there too, at the angel's right hand, accusing Joshua of many things. Verse 2. And the Lord said to Satan, I reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, I, the Lord, for I have decided to be merciful to Jerusalem. I rebuke you. I have decreed mercy to Joshua and his nation. They are like a burning stick pulled out of the fire. This is speaking of God's covenant. verse 3 Joshua was clothing was filthy as he stood before the angel of the Lord then the angel said to the other standing there remove his filthy clothing and turning to Joshua he said see I have taken away your sins and now I am giving you these fine new clothes and then I said please could he also have a turban on his head, so they gave him one. And then the angel of the Lord spoke very solemnly to Joshua and said, The Lord Almighty declares, If you will follow the paths I set for you and do all that I tell you to do, then I will put you in charge of my temple to keep it holy, and I will let you walk in and out of my presence with these angels listen to me oh joshua the high priest and all you other priests you are illustrations of the good things to come don't you see joshua represents my servant the branch whom i will send and he will be the foundation stone of the temple that Joshua is standing beside. And I will engrave this inscription on it seven times. I will remove the sins of this land in a single day. And after that, I, the Almighty Lord, declares, you will live in peace and prosperity. You and each one of you will own a home of your own where you can invite your neighbors. Also, please, Luke 22, 29, still looking at how the Lord deals with the enemy when he comes to accuse God's people. Luke 22, 29, and because my father has granted me a kingdom, I here and now grant you the right to eat and drink at my table in that kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes. Verse 31. Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to have you, to sift you like wheat, but I have pleaded and prayed for you that your faith should not completely fail. So when you have repented and returned to me, strengthen and build up the faith of your brethren. and Simon said, Lord, I am ready to go to jail with you and even to die with you. Verse 34. But Jesus said, Peter, let me tell you something. Between now and tomorrow morning when the rooster crows, you will deny me three times, declaring that you do not even know me. The Lord said to Simon, Peter, Peter, Satan has desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat well see right here Jesus spoke to Simon Peter as the representative of the twelve disciples and wheat was sifted to remove the dirt and the chaff and to eliminate the broken and the withered pieces of grain Satan was on standby and ready to step in and sift or riddle or put through a sieve and separate. But Jesus did not give Satan permission to have his legal right with Peter and tear him apart. Hallelujah. But he said in verse 32, I have prayed, especially for you, Peter, that your own faith may not fail you when you yourself have turned again. Strengthen and establish your brethren. see God had picked this man Peter before the foundation of time knowing that once Peter overcame his misguided zeal and impetuous behavior and turned in a loathing and a deep repentance from his great sin of denying his Lord that he would become one of the greatest apostles who would turn the world upside down for his beloved Messiah. The temptations of the devil often serve the purpose of revealing the strength as well as the weaknesses in believers' lives. The Lord Jesus said to Peter, But I have prayed for thee. And the scripture is indicating that the Lord had a special concern for Peter. and he knew the failure awaiting Peter because of his overconfidence but by the grace and the mercy of the Lord he would not hand him over to Satan or remove him from his plan or purpose of leadership as an apostle Jesus has shown himself as our intercessor in the scripture Hebrews 724 declares therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him because he always lives to intercede for them you see our intercessor Jesus meets all the charges against us and the Holy Spirit also makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Satan may bring charges against us, and sometimes they may be well-founded, but he, Jesus, will be there on our behalf. He bore our sins, he carried our sorrows and he meets every accusation what a wonderful Savior and intercessor he promises he will never leave you nor forsake you Hallelujah, hallelujah. Oh, hallelujah, hallelujah. Oh, rain on your people, oh Lord. Oh, rain on your people, oh Lord. Rain on your people. Hallelujah. Oh Father we praise you We thank you almighty God Hallelujah Praising you Giving you praise Hallelujah Wonderful savior Oh wonderful intercessor You'll never leave us nor forsake us We praise you and thank you mighty king Hallelujah Hallelujah We praise you Hallelujah Hallelujah. Hallelujah. There are many scriptures in God's Word that teach us what sin is and how to avoid sin and how to resist the accuser. God desires you to see the depths of His love woven throughout these scriptures forming and weaving a precious garment of truth for you personally to put on and wear continually the word in titus 2 is a summation of the kind of life we should live in order to avoid the accusations of the accuser titus 2 1 you must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-control, and sound in faith, in love, and in endurance. Let me interrupt right here, please, because we're going to read a few more scriptures. But just let me interrupt to say, sound in faith is not faith in ourselves, but faith in Christ through his living word. and by practicing the truth of his word and living in him. And this is not a one-time act or confession, but it is our way of life. It is not burdensome or hard, but it is now our preferred way. Picking back up in verse 3, Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanders or addicted to too much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands so that no one will malign the word of God. Verse 6. Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything, set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching, show integrity, seriousness, and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us. In your teaching, the scripture says, show integrity, which is the sincere and honest profession of the truth and the testimony of Jesus and the reason that he came. You see, when we do this, Satan's kingdom is damaged. Hallelujah. Months ago, I had a dream. And in the dream, there were people standing around me, prowling around me like a pack of dogs. They were accusing me and pointing their fingers at me with their accusations. and in the dream I spoke these words with a godly boldness and confidence I am a servant of the living God and a believer in Jesus Christ the Son of God and the one in whom the Father is well pleased and for that reason the enemy cannot harm me or touch me you see in the dream the Lord showed me that I was standing in the face of the adversary who was accusing me and the spirit of God gave me the words to say and he also vindicated me and the people who were like dogs all around me left quickly they just disappeared in first Peter 5 8 first Peter 5 8 admonishes us be self-controlled and alert your enemy the devil prowls around you like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour resist him standing firm in the faith because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings you see church god is a covenant keeping god when we hear his words it is like a song that fills our hearts with joy and gladness where all sorrow and sadness will flee from us when we speak the truth and testimony of Jesus which will set the captives free Satan is not happy and he raises his forces to be launched against the righteous and sets traps and snares endeavoring to malign and discredit those who speak the truth but God has made a covenant which he will not break because his truth his freedom and victory for his people will go forth look please in Ezekiel 36 22 Ezekiel 36 22 therefore say to the house of Israel. This is what the Sovereign Lord says. It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone. Verse 23, and I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the sovereign Lord, when I show myself holy through you before their eyes. Verse 24, for I will take you out of the nations and I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back to your own land. And I will sprinkle water on you and you will be clean and I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. Verse 26, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. And I will remove you, your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. And you will live in the land I gave your forefathers. You will be my people and I will be your God. I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and make it plentiful and will not bring famine upon you. I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field so that you will no longer suffer disgrace among the nations because of famine. Then you will remember your evil ways and wicked deeds and you will loathe yourselves for your sins and detestable practices. I want you to know that I am not doing this for your sake, declares the sovereign Lord. Be ashamed and disgraced for your conduct, O house of Israel. God had made a promise that he was going to keep and he kept the promise with the remnant people throughout the generations. And these are those who love him and want to see his kingdom prospering in the lives of Christ's inheritance these are those who are hidden in him Hebrews 10 verse 1 Hebrews 10 1 the law is only the shadow of the good things that are coming not the realities themselves for this reason it can never by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year make perfect those who draw near to worship if it could would they not have stopped being offered for the worshipers would have been cleansed once and for all and no longer would feel guilty for their sins but those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sin because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins therefore when Christ came into the world he said sacrifice and offering you did not desire but a body you prepared for me with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased then I said here I am it is written about me in the scroll I have come to do your will oh God first he said sacrifices and burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire nor were you pleased with them although the law required them to be made verse 9 and then he said here i am i have come to do your will he sets aside the first to establish the second verse 10 and by that will we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of jesus christ once and for all you and I can rejoice because Christ Jesus paid the price for all of our sins our sicknesses and our self-righteousness so we could become as he is alleluia and that is a son or a daughter of the living God and have life everlasting in complete joy and peace without the harassment of this earthly life. When one is in the presence of the Lord, there is fullness of joy. You come into his courts with thanksgiving. This means you are in his presence, dear one, and you know it. You know this is your preferred place of standing, and you will not be moved out of it. You can't help but offer up sweet sacrifices of praises to him because you are hidden in him psalms 27 verse 6 declares then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me at his tabernacle i will sacrifice with shouts of joy i will sing and make music to the lord hear my voice when i call o lord Be merciful to me and answer me. Verse 8, my heart says of you, seek his face. Your face, O Lord, will I seek. Do not hide your face from me. Do not turn your servant away in anger. You have been my helper. When you offer up sweet expressions from your heart in silence to the one to whom you are preparing to be wed, you will always see him and you will never see yourself. The adversary surely will not be pleased to be around where the love and grace of God abounds within your heart. This is how you become his temple and he begins to take over your soul entirely. And soon this great love spills out of your heart and is manifested to others around you for the glory of God. God, Father, sees your heart and he becomes jealous over you because your heart is turning towards his face as our scripture has shown. You start speaking sweet expressions to the lover of your soul, such as, Oh Lord, teach me to love you for who you are, for only yourself because you are altogether lovely. Oh, my sweet Lord, make me totally yours. Consume me with your love and your purifying fire. Dear Jesus, be my all in all and keep me the apple of your eye. You are my helper. You are my keeper. you are my master you are my gift my beloved I say don be ashamed to speak to the Lord in these ways I encourage the man in this word today that these are words that Jesus longs to hear from your heart and your lips too this is true circumcision of the heart expressing your love in words to the one whom you were created for learn to build a vocabulary of sweet expressions to your king. This is truly being hidden in Christ. This is where he fights your battles and you learn to keep silent because you walk as a sweet sacrifice of praise before him continually. And the devil cannot come close because of the divine protection round about you. remember in the word in the book of exodus 14 14 which declares the lord will fight the battle for you while you keep silent hallelujah hallelujah when you begin your inward walk into being hidden in christ your heart will be turning to him and away from the cares of the world and he will begin at this point to impart his joy to you. Psalm 71, 23 declares, I will shout and sing your praises for redeeming me and I will talk to others all day long about your justice and your goodness for all who tried to hurt me have been disgraced and dishonored. And also, Colossians 3, 1 says since then you have been raised with christ set your heart on things above where christ is seated at the right hand of god set your minds on the things above and not on earthly things verse 3 for you died and your life is now hidden with christ in god verse 4 and when christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature, sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed, which is idolatry. And because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourself of all such things as these, anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you've taken off your old self with its practices and you have put on the new self, which is being renewed in the knowledge, in the image of its creator. God is calling you and inviting you to walk with him as the faithful patriarchs of old did, such as Enoch, Moses, Noah, Abraham, King David, Esther, and Mary, who is the mother of Jesus. You see, many are invited, but many ignore the invitation because they are more concerned with themselves, their conditions or their circumstances and their worldly desires, the things of the flesh. Jesus told us that the path is a narrow one and few will enter in. But I ask you, will you decide or elect to be one of those, no matter what the cost? At every stage of sanctification, God must call us saying, seek my face and your cry in response to the call of your bridegroom must be draw me Lord draw me deeper and deeper into the depths of your love you see dear one you can't do this on your own power but with Christ Jesus all things are possible we all will have our own experience on this narrow way a number of years ago when we were going through great challenge and change in our life and answering the call of God upon our lives I was crying out to the Lord within my heart and my spirit and not only did change affect the stability of job and career but also long time belief system in religion with all the change we experience great persecution came from many sides. In my heart's cry day and night before the Lord, he heard the inward yearnings and the meditation of my heart, and he visited me one night in a dream. Can I tell you, this visitation gave me great hope and propelled me into the next level of waiting on the Lord with renewed expectancy. Can we know also that this is God's prophetic word coming alive in the book of Joel? I will pour out my spirit and give dreams and visions and so forth. The dream was simple. I saw the Bible open and the finger of the Lord was pointing out certain and key words in scripture. and I saw these key words four specific times. The word was seek. Once I awoke, I went to the scripture to look for a place in God's word where he was showing me the significant answer and direction to my prayers. It was in Psalms 27 verse 8 where I found the only passage in the Bible where the word seek was four times listed. I knew this was God giving me encouragement and in effect saying, keep on keeping on. I am guiding your steps. Listen to the word the Lord gave me in his word in Psalms 27 verse 8. The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear. Though war break out against me, even then I will be confident. Verse 4. One thing I ask of the Lord. this is what I seek that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling and He will hide me in the shelter of His tabernacle and set me high upon a rock. Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me. At His tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy. I will sing and make music to the Lord. Verse 7. Hear my voice when I call, O Lord. Be merciful to me and answer me. My heart says of you, seek his face. Oh, your face will I seek, O Lord. Do not hide your face from me and do not turn your servant away in anger. You have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, O God, my Savior. Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. Teach me your way, O Lord. Lead me in the straight path, or the narrow path, I interject that, the narrow way, because of my oppressors. Do not turn me over to the desires of my foes, for false witnesses rise up against me, breathing out violence. Verse 13, I am still confident of this. I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord. Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Hallelujah. If I would seek the Lord's face with all of my heart, he would show himself, his heart and his will for my life. You see, summing up these scriptures, seeking God, living in his temple, seeking his face. You see, verse 14 gives a vital clue. Wait for the Lord, be strong, and take heart, and wait for the Lord. We must all learn to be patient waiters on the Lord. This is his command. We learn to wait. You see, if you freely respond in this way, your precious Lord will choose for you to receive his grace and for his dear son to do his good work in you to the next level of purification or sanctification. The accuser will flee because at this point, your intercessor, your mediator is at work on your behalf. your power of attorney is at work and his name is jesus christ the all-powerful name of jesus and the love of the savior goes to work to defend the one whose heart is turned towards him our heavenly father desires for us to choose to put the seal of his beloved son jesus christ over our hearts so that he alone will be our strength. King David said to the one to whom he loved, I love you, O Lord, my strength. It is in this time that we become an unquenchable flame of his love on the earth. In the book of the Song of Solomon, the maiden who is the young bride in pursuit of her lover declares her desire for her Lord seal me in your heart with permanent betrothal for love love is strong as death and jealousy is as cruel as sheol it flashes fire and the very flame of Jehovah many waters cannot quench the flame of love and neither can the floods drown it remember the truth in God's word the Lord will fight for you while you keep silent and remember also in the book of Exodus where Moses told the people don't be afraid just stand where you are and watch and you will see the wonderful way in which the Lord will rescue you today the Egyptians you are looking at you will never see them again. The Lord will fight for you that you do not even need to lift a finger. Let us never forget, precious ones, Satan is the accuser and he represents the Pharaoh in Egypt. And Jesus Christ is your intercessor. And when you stay hidden in Christ, you will proclaim, I am a servant of the living God and a believer of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God and the one in whom the Father is well pleased. And for that reason, the enemy cannot harm me or touch me. You will also proclaim, It is your face I seek, O Lord. I will wait for the Lord, and I will be strong, and I will take heart and wait for the Lord. And you will say with confidence, just as King David had when he said to the one he loved, I love you, O Lord, my strength. Truly, I remind you, your battles are won in the Lord. Stay in God's Son, Jesus Christ, who won your battles for you and stands up to the accuser and says, No, this one is mine for eternity and is sealed by my love.
