Transcript: Discovering the Hidden Treasure in the Bible's Parables

The Treasure in the Field, a story that Jesus told. This is Leonard. Leonard loves to take long walks. During one of his walks, he finds something interesting in a field. Hidden in the field, he finds what looks like a box. But after inspecting the box, Leonard discovers that it is in fact a treasure. Because the box is too heavy to carry, Leonard hides it and plans to return later. He goes home and sells everything he has to buy the field where the treasure was found. Now the treasure belongs to him. Jesus compares the kingdom of God with that treasure. To be a part of his kingdom is worth selling everything we own. you
