Transcript: visions from god: importance in christianity with shruthika priscilla

People may go to the point where they say, OK, when we have the Bible, why do we need visions? Why are visions important for a believer? What do you say for that? See, again, whatever visions we get, right, again, it has to back up with the word. We cannot speak anything without the backing of scriptures. Right. And God clearly said, I will speak. You know, one thing, you know, I can answer that in a very nice way. The Lord says, if you if you read in, I'll just quickly get the reference of that scripture. Yeah. In John 1140, the Lord says, did you did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God? Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God? Jesus never mentioned a protocol of how he's going to reveal his glory or of how he's going to show his glory. He didn say my glory will be shown or revealed in certain certain way There was no protocol There was no set standards right The Lord reveals when his glory is revealed he will manifest in different ways And it differs from person to person. It differs from church to church. God is a unique God and he manifests himself and he shows his glory in different ways. So if you believe, you will see my glory. If you don't believe, you will not see my glory. Simple. If you believe in visions, God will speak to you through visions. He will speak to you. If you believe he won't, he won't. That's it. It's all depending on your belief. That's it. Oh, that's a wonderful answer. So it's putting the ball on people's court, you know, as you believe. So in different contexts, the verse says like there's no, as a man think it's so easy, you know, God does according to your faith, God will do. So if you have the faith that it not going to happen forget it it not going to happen So for a person who starting out like okay I okay john i understand visions are real i understand the importance of visions and like you said um you know god wants to speak to us i mean uh go here do this or do that and many times i've seen this in my life like um two days ago god gave me a vision of uh you know for a person concerning a baby and um that person was praying for that exactly at that point and my vision was the confirmation for that person um and likewise i can give you another example of the best example i can think of is uh i was invited to go to pray for a family in i don't know them i just went to pray and as i prayed i don't know them the first time i'm going it was kind of like in the outskirts and as i prayed i i saw a vision in a particular area in the house and I said I see a vision of an angel here. They were almost in tears I think they were in tears at that point because apparently two days ago two days prior to me going there there was a robbery attempt through that very place that where I saw the vision of the angel so they said uh this is like not an accident this is real like there was a they were actually in fear because there was a robbery attempt through that very same place but it couldn't uh you know it wasn't successful but still they were scared you get what i'm saying right but this vision of saying okay wow like i can say okay i saw an angel anywhere in the house but seeing the exact place where they got that specific spot that made them feel so relieved and they were set free from the fear that they had. So like this, can you imagine how many times you can make an impact in the lives of people through visions? So I believe that as believers, it's important that we don't neglect this important gift God has given us.
