Transcript: Christian Movie Review: Come September (Classic Romance Comedy)

Greetings Classic Cinema and TV fans, this is Jason Locker, Pastor Jay here with you once again on another Silver Screen Spotlight. Today we're taking a first look at a brand new release from Kino Lorber Studio Classics. I am so excited about this one. We're talking about Come September. All right. This is a Rock Hudson release, and wow, what an awesome thing. Kino Lorber Studio Classics, this is their brand-new release, which I'm so excited about. This is kind of another Rock Hudson release. It's really, really cool. We got, a little bit ago, we got a release of a bunch of Rock Hudson films in a very special Rock Hudson collection in this one, which is so, so cool. Rock Hudson in so many awesome, cool films. Look at that. Bank of a Grade, Seminole, and the Golden Blade. All these were in a beautiful box set. so so cool and just love that box set i mean you can just see that that is like the coolest thing in the world uh yeah so that was pretty cool and you can get the full written review of the rock Hudson collection here on our official website Classic Cinema Plus You can check that out But, yeah, this was pretty cool. So we got the Rock Hudson collection on Blu-ray. But then, so brand new. It's coming out very, very soon as we're releasing this video. It is going to be about a month away. But yeah, it's actually kind of strange. This is come September, coming in October. Okay, that's cool. I don't care. I think it's cool anyway. But this is a very interesting film. It's kind of like a romantic comedy type film. And it's all about a businessman named Robert Talbot who goes over to Italy and meets up with his girlfriend. and all this type of stuff. And, you know, when he's going over there for this next round, he finds that his villa, his place, has been overrun by a bunch of teenagers and a lot of stuff going on. And so it's like, what am I going to do? It looks like a hilarious film. I actually have not seen this one, so I'm so excited about this to get to see this one for the first time. I love finding films that I've, that I've never heard of or that I've never seen, or I always wanted to see that I never seen And this one is one I never heard of before So when I saw it I was like this sounds totally awesome And wow what a cast You got four amazing, amazing actors and actresses in this. You got the great Rock Hudson, movie star right there. You got beauty icon Gina Lola Brigida. You have Sandra Dee. And you got singing icon Bobby Darin. All four of these are in this film. It's going to be an awesome one. Looking so forward to checking this one out. You get the theatrical trailer as well as many other theatrical trailers in this collection. as well as a special audio commentary. Very, very cool. Love those audio commentaries. It's awesome stuff. And I just love that artwork. That artwork is just gorgeous. Isn't that beautiful? That is so cool. So, yeah, I mean, it's going to be something very, very special. Coming in October is come September. It's awesome. I love it. I don't know why, but that's pretty cool. I don't know why they did that, but that's, I don't know. That's pretty cool. So shouldn't September come in September? No, no, no. I think it's cute. Anyway something that is pretty pretty cool with this is this film is directed by Robert Mulligan who directed To Kill a Mockingbird so you know hey you know what you in for there with that, I mean, great director so yeah, so just awesome stuff, can't wait to check this out presented in 1080p and in widescreen format and all that type of good stuff 1961, yeah, so that's going to be pretty cool, so yeah There's a little first look at the new upcoming release from Keenalora Studio Classics. This is Come September featuring Gina Loura, Brigida, Bobby Darin, Sandra Day, and yes, Rock Hudson. So what's your thoughts on this brand new release of Come September?
