And there are tons of sessions available for you, the detailed Bible teachings available for you in the YouTube channel. want you to benefit please go there and listen to all these sessions this is only going to help you all right today we are going to talk about another interesting topic that is about the spirit of Cain versus the spirit of Abel many of us know Cain murdered Abel and Abel was righteous and he was like forerunner for Jesus. There was no fault in him. There was no crime in him. But then he was justified as a criminal for all wrong reasons. And Cain was having the bitter envy, the jealous, and that made him to murder his own brother. And then you know what happened to him was he was cast out from the presence of God and he became a vagabond and a fugitive and moving from one place to another person place and because of his crime this world was cursed and that is the sad truth that every one of us should take an account without that crime you and I wouldn't have gone into this kind of curse today whatever you know the vegetation or agriculture anything that they are doing I don't think they are have you they are able to harvest you know receive the harvest in plentiful at least in India you know right there are a lot of corrections in the law they want to bring and these are hurting the farmers and you can see that they are protesting already right but then I am not getting into politics but I am talking to you the land is cursed on account of Cain's crime against God now here I want to read the words from Jude, Jude has only one chapter and that's the chapter that is the book with before revelation so you can always skip that 1 11 right and what to them for they have gone in the way of Cain what to them for they have gone in the way of Cain and have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit and perished in the rebellion of rebellion of Korah three people Cain Balaam Korah we'll talk about that and we will get into the Genesis 4 and we will talk a little bit about the spirit of Cain and Abel and I will tell you a little more little more facts about Cain's birth and Abel's birth in the original Aramik by the way I want you to know we have done a detailed session on Cain and Abel Cain versus Abel it's available in the playlist 16 sessions are available detailed teaching is available but I'm just giving you a preface an introduction or condensing the 16 hours teaching into 15 minutes or 20 minutes maximum. Now, according to the Aramic translation, Genesis 4.1 says, Now Adam knew Eve's wife and she conceived and bore Cain and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. Then she bore again, this time his brother Abel. Then she bore again. There is a little bit of translation glitch. They are twin brothers. Just like Esha and Jacob, they were twin brothers. The first children born in this world were twin brothers that is the belief that is what the scholars have researched and found okay anyway i'm telling you whatever comes on the top of my mind therefore we understand all the facts and we will try to pack it everything together in the session therefore you don't miss on anything right now these boys grew up together but then one of the boys i will come to jude 111 little later let me finish the basic facts therefore you will understand the basics that's important okay now these boys have the whole land the face of the earth right in front of them they can pick anything they want they can choose any professions they want they can decide to even sit and eat forever or they can decide to be idle but both the guys did not make a choice to be idle Why Because if they are idle who is going to feed them The earth is cursed they have to till the ground That is the thing which was given to Adam right then in the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground and you know what to say you shall return to for out of it you were taken sorry that's not the words because you shall not eat of it cursed is the ground for your sake in toil you shall eat of it all the days of her life of your life Genesis 3 17 is what I read just for you right because of the curse of Adam the The ground was cursed for the first time. And then what happens is they have to toil the ground. Plowing, farming, all these things have been given birth. Before that the nature of agriculture was different. I covered that in a different session. I will not talk about it now. Now the point here is now these two boys have the complete face of the earth right in front of them. And they are supposed to go and work and then earn their bread and eat. There is no choice given. Otherwise they would have picked up the second choice. I will sit and somebody feeds me like the raven which was sent to feed Elijah. I will continue to sit and I will enjoy. And that's it. Right? The idleness is not a kind of an option. Right? Idleness is no choice at all. They cannot be idle. Now, these two guys have to pick their professions. What they want to do. And Abel picked up the choice of shepherd. Right? Shepherding. Or he is a herdsman taking care of the sheeps. whereas this guy Cain picked up the choice of making agriculture why it made the choice was agriculture was like the prime business which instills lot of dominance because everyone will have to eat food they can't eat meat all the time they need cereals, pulses, spices crops have to be manufactured they have to do all this why? because they need all of this only then you can eat therefore he picked up this dominant business where he can make profit where he can make people to come to him where he will have control over everything in fact he can control his brother also right there is this guy and then make a note of it this profession always keeps him busy agriculture people who are in agriculture people who are farmers they will understand this you have to sow the seed you have before that you need to plow the ground and then you have to water it and then you have to wait for monsoon you have to fence it and protect it from all the domestic and wild animals and then you have to take care of you know all the you know fertilizing it keep it away from rats and snakes this and that you will be busy all the time and this guy never had time for fellowship abel also had the choice to pick up the agriculture but he did not pick that up why because he had made the choice to spend time with god how because in this sheep profession the first man profession no 80 percent of the time they will have i know free time that's how david was able to grow in his spirit or most of the songs he sung was while he was a shepherd boy but all of them are experiences i agree with that but he became a worship leader he was able to play in the lute uh sorry flute harp and all these things right he was a guitarist he can you know how to play the string instruments and all the we using that only he was able to drive away all the evil spirits from King Saul. Right? Where did he learn from all of that? In that free time. 80%, 70-80% of the time, he gets after you don't have to feed the sheep. You have to just let them graze. They will be grazing and they know how to feed themselves. That's it. What do you do at that time? You have time to fellowship with God. Have fellowship with God. You can pray to God. You can praise God. You can talk to God. And God also talks to you. Correct? That is why Abel made that choice of having the fellowship with God. and God also had fellowship with him. That's why his offering, when it was, I will read from Genesis 4, and in a process of time, Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord and also brought of the firstlings of the flock and their fat and the Lord respected Abel and his offering and but he did not respect Cain in his offering and Cain was angry. Why did not he respect? Because I think Cain would have picked up all the worn out and all the you know worst of the fruits and this and that which are all not in a usable condition. Anyway it's an offering fire of God will consume. Why to waste? Let me eat it. that's not the respect God expected right whereas Abel gave the best attention to God he took the firstlings of the sheep the best of the sheep and he offered it's about your attitude for Christ right and what we are talking here about the spirit of now I will go to Jude 1.11 you all understood now right now Balaam always worked for prophet that's why Bible is equating Balaam spirit with Cain spirit in other words Cain's spirit descended on Balan and Korah. Korah you all know. Korah is one of the uncles to Moses. Same bloodline. And that's why he rebelled against Moses saying hey you think you are so great there are 70 prophets now. You are not the only one. In the book of Exodus you can take and read. And then what happens is Moses got really worked up and he said tomorrow morning you come let us see who is bigger than whom and all that. And God came he judged and Korah was actually swallowed by the earth. But Korah's sons, I am sorry about the dogs barking outside, Korah's sons, you know they made a choice to come to the side of Moses why Korah made the choice was to make that prophet. Because those days prophets were the most honored. For everything now they will come to prophet only. You tell me prophet, I will do. Samuel will be waiting when would Samuel come with any news when he comes now people will be trembling so everything will and all that And Sam will say, don't worry, everything is well. I have come for a good news only. And then only people will be able to breathe freely. So that is the dominance. Dominance for profit. Dominance for honor. Dominance for pride. Dominance for everything, right? That is the spirit of Cain. Cain had that spirit. But the spirit that is always humble, that is ready to sacrifice, that is ready to, you know, let go things, that is ready to walk in lowliness of mind. Philippians chapter 2 verses 3 and 5 you take and read. Jesus walked in the spirit of humility. He never went and fought for anything. When people would come and fight with him he would explain. If he is not able to convince them he will say goodbye. Fine, you live in your own principle and let me walk. This was the attitude of Jesus but he would not curse them. He lived by 2 Thessalonians chapter 3 verses 14 and 15. Do not count your brother as your enemy although he is not obeying the word of God but pray for him and always continue to love him. Pursue peace with men and holiness and then you will see the presence of God. Hebrews 12, 14 says. That was the spirit of Abel. He was not working for profit. He was working for survival. Yeah, he has to work in art. That's why he started from that curse. Right? Ground was cursed and all that. This is the difference between these two guys. And Balaam, about Balaam we all know, right? The guy says initially, whatever God says that will only that is something I will tell if God asks me to curse I will curse if God asks me to bless the Israel I will bless I will not speak a word then this guy offered money that king offered money then he went and negotiated then he goes and negotiated with God saying that can I go and do this or not God said no you go no problem to test him now the guy worked for profit right it's very clear he ran behind the money and you know what happened? The donkey started talking and it saved him from the angel which was about to slay him with one slay of the sword, right? And he was another man of prophet. There was one more guy, not mentioned in Jude 1.11 but I got reminded. Gehazi, assistant of Eliza, that guy ran behind Naaman and said, he spoke some stories, oh you know Eliza forgot to take the gift what you offered, we needed to build our school of prophets. They were having school of prophets. all prophets were trained in that school right Something like that Oh we need this and that and all that And Elijah tells where were you And he says no no people pretend You know what He was pretending Did not my spirit travel with you when you went to Naaman and get that money? Therefore, Naaman's leprosy shall cling on you. Now, coming to the curse. Right? Now, since this guy had really gone into this direction, God wants him. That is where the love of God, compassion of God, God doesn't strike waiting for an opportunity. He's not sadistic, right? He's not waiting for that opportunity to come and strike you hard. No, that's not the attitude of God. He's God of compassion, bound to compassion, slow to anger, everlasting mercies. Psalm 145, 8 and 9 and Psalm 103, 11, Psalm 147, 11. It's talking about God's mercies. And with that mercy, he tells something here. He gives him a second chance. Lord said to Cain, hey, why are you angry? Why is your confidence fallen? if you do well will you not be accepted but if you do not do well which means original translation if you do not heed to the voice of God that is me sin is waiting at the door and sin lies at the door to crouch you original translation to crouch you, pounce on you to take captive of you and what is that sin? he is going to murder his brother and God is aware of that and he warns him warns, not wants warns, warning, right? you want some, hey don't do it it's desired for you you should rule over it before sin rules over us, we should rule over it and that is the New Testament covenant and promise given to you and me Romans 6.14 sin shall not have dominion over you because you are under the grace of Jesus now I am talking to all the New Testament people right, New Covenant people forget Cain, forget Abel, forget who's that, Balaam forget even our Korah. All these guys got deprived, got deceived and they were destroyed finally. You know what a curse was on Cain. Now to you and me we are in the new covenant world we have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus and we are the believers in Christ and we have gone into the repentance and reconciliation and remission of sins is granted. Acts chapter 11, 18 God says that according to the new covenant standards Gentiles are forgiven and they are also blessed with anointing of the Holy Ghost, right? Now having all these powers in hand, you and I need not get into the curse. All that you need to do is tune to the voice of the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit always talks to us in a very, very personalized manner. And he's our friend, he's our helper, he's our companion. And he brings to our remembrance all the teachings of Jesus Christ. Bible says in John 14, 26. That is the role of the Holy Spirit. Helper means don't think you can take him and ask him to clean the toilet in your room and all that. Nothing. Don't read him cheaply. He is one of the, he is nothing but the image of God. God coming and living inside of you. Treat him with reverence and respect. Right? It's the sovereign God living in you. And he will bring to your remembrance and he will warn you. He will guide you. He will govern you. He will correct you. And he will bring you away from sin because sin is waiting at the door of everyone. Right? Door means what? Heart. Right? And your life. Wherever you go demons are deployed. You know that right? One demon at least follows you and don't worry for one demon God deploys two angels revelation 12 there is a calculation many many scholars have decoded that two angels are deployed per per demon don't worry if five demons are circling you there are there are ten angels who are there to take care of those five demons so don't worry about that the heaven will take care of it only thing be tuned to the voice of the Holy Spirit which alarms right within you and therefore you will not get into deception right so today you make a choice you want to embrace the spirit of pain or you want to embrace the spirit of favor for more details for more teachings on this tune up to our playlist we have got almost 16 hours of teaching there lying in in wait for you please listen you will benefit God bless you stay tuned I will meet you soon with another session until then please listen to all the playlist subscribe to our channel share it with your friends and relatives most importantly pray for me pray for our ministries God bless you take care bye
