Dear brothers and sisters, again it's a pleasure to meet you in the name of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I think I'm super excited because this is the last session, the last episode, and we are going to wind up this beautiful series that we had been discussing almost, I think in 16, 17 or 18 sessions by now. By the absolute mercy and grace of God, we were able to present what the Holy Spirit has convicted or had convicted in our hearts okay um i think the in the interest of time because we have too many things to cover so i'm not going to preface or set the context too much because we did that in the previous session 8a you may want to revend and watch but uh brothers who or sisters whoever have uh straight away jumped into this session uh getting overwhelmed uh oh let me look about the grace i think i know everything else let me want to watch let me see what grace is all about no no don't do that please um please come from the beginning therefore you will understand the discussion how contextually or or content wise uh we are talking about various aspects uh it's it's literally it's slightly a different um study compared to maybe what you had gone through or maybe you know it nothing wrong give the lord another chance give me another chance being your brother okay and go come in the chronological order and finally i encourage you please come to this uh final episode of where we discuss about the concept of grace okay so i will spend a minute or two only about a day where we discussed in the previous session about grace where we discussed how chrysanthemum is either moving away totally from grace or they kind of misapprehend or get into the misconceptions of taking grace in a different aspect or giving grace the lowly state or the least of the status, right? Or some category of people in the Christendom, they take grace for granted saying that anyway, grace is there. So let me go ahead and sin. So what? Let me, I will always get my second chance. Okay. So this is the kind of, what is a, this is the kind of light we are shedding upon the the people of christ or people of god that grace is not something to be treated that way yeah it's not the cheapest thing that could be treated or it's not the least of the thing that could be taken for granted uh after all the sufferings after all the resurrection power being bestowed upon earth and after all the holy spirit's workmanship in us what do you think is the final product the final product is grace therefore grace unites us reconciles us with the companionship of the holy spirit and gets us back into the throne room of our father right because we have got direct access to the father in heaven but of course all of us have fallen short of glory because of the atomic sin the atomic nature in us and after all we are living still in this earth we have not yet gone to the thousand years rains and our rain and after that we will be lifted up here and we will live in heaven with the father forever and ever. We are not yet there. But for a mere moment, I think we should be getting into this practice of resisting the devil, overcoming and all that is there. But then you need grace. You need to understand why. Because after all, being very cautious, after all, being very cautious and resisting the devil or keeping us away from temptations, it's not possible for you to keep all the commandments, all the law. You will slip off and all that. Therefore, you're supposed to work with the holy spirit the workmanship of holy spirit it works in concordance with grace so which one should i stick to or which one should i adhere to grace or holy spirit actually both actually both and that's why we did a very very detailed and comprehensive study about the holy spirit the powers and the tongues and what's not what fruits and the um you know um what is that the gifts of the holy spirit and whatnot we went through a detailed study we had a very detailed discussion and debate, right? We ask various questions and we clarify the frequently asked questions. But can it all be accomplished without the grace? You need grace. You will still fall short of glory. You need grace. Why? Because that's the carnal nature. You know, temptation is strong, sin is strong. It can make us move away. For you to have that clarity, Holy Spirit is there for you to get the directions, for you to get that kind of light. Holy Spirit is there. He's a helper. But what can bring us absolutely close to Father? You need the grace because the concept behind grace is grace reminds us the suffering and grace also reminds the Father to forgive us those many number of times with the upper limit only the Father knows or is a new and he's aware. But he keeps reminding himself to shed that grace. Why? Because the intercessor is on the right hand and the sufferings of Jesus. But all this can be encompassed into one word and that's called as grace. And that's why we entitled the topic as power of grace, power of grace behind Jesus' suffering that Jesus left behind for us, the greatest treasure which money cannot buy, which money cannot buy. That's the gift to us, the human mankind. Okay, so last time we discussed all of this last session and then we started talking about the basics of grace and we also were going through some of the, you know top definitions that grace is all about some of the well-renowned people who have written about grace we went through it okay now in this session what we will be doing is brothers and sisters we will touch upon i want to give a pictorial representation of what is grace and this is exactly what we did the last time this is the enunciation or the extended definition description of grace. Okay, Tamil said that grace is a good definition. But that is the way we say it is because we have a death. That's why we have a death. We have a death. We have a death. We have a picture in a pictorial format. We have a picture. But we have to go to the moment. I am trying to do some bilingual. only for this session so that we get complete understanding of grace okay and grace it's revealed from a greek word grass g-r-a-s okay and the noun the noun is unearned undeserved unmerited favor of god in other terms the whole definition or the encompassed meaning is unearned undeserved and unmerited favor of god and ephesians chapter 2 verse 8 and 9 can you please turn your bibles or you please read it or you listen to me for it is by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves it is the gift of god not of the works so that no one can boast okay not through your works not through your capability not your skills not your talents not your obedience not through all of this is needed definitely to work in partnership with the holy spirit and to move closer to god but none of these can earn grace or this you know uh deserving uh favor no all of us have fallen short in glory therefore how much ever you may try to keep up the law commandments like the rich angular angular who came and said that i followed all of this but jesus still could find a spot in him but with love he said that okay but with love father is telling us this evening or morning wherever you are it's by grace only you can come closer therefore i'm giving it as a bonus take it for free don't feel the guilt or don't don't don't feel guilty about it um that oh i couldn't give the best of my efforts you how much ever you give you cannot because adamic nature is in us still and therefore grace helps to get closer to God. You ready? the companionship of the holy spirit order okay so right hand side if you see the picture it's clearly depicted there is a gulf right eternal life is on the right and this is not the same gulf what we reviewed last time but this is eternal life on the left hand side is the practical problems what we go through in and out of our daily life day in and day out we go through life at our workplace, college, school, in families, right? In families, in our own houses, we go through it. What is that? One is the carnal nature, man's problem, sin. We spoke enough of that in the first chapter, first episode, you need to go through that. And that is a penalty for sin. And that is death for Romans 6.23, for the wages of sin is death. And you cannot get rid of these. Despite of all your good works, religion, that's why we are shown in the Gulf, right? good works, religion, money, morality, that cannot be the bridge, that just can't be the bridge, taking you all the way to the glory, eternal life or heaven. You will still see the gap. Can you see the gap between the good works and eternal life? You will still fall down from the cliff of the good works and you will be going deep down to hell. So you still need that little bit of bridge extension and that's called as grace, which will lead you to eternal life. Else you go to eternal death and likewise there is a picture down we have put our pardon our turn our trust um you know it is again coming as part of the man's problem sin and death and cross you see it's a perfect bridge it's a perfect bridge christ's payment he paid the price and he is taking us to the other side of the rock or other side of the mountain and that's god's promise what is that eternal life no condemnation see after going there oh it's bridge of the cross the cross provided me at the bridge therefore i go there with guilt conscious no condemnation no guilt conscious don't worry because god understands our carnal nature it can take us only to some level and god is okay with that right and he is providing you a solution for this and passed from death to life our father will be glad to welcome you okay you used the bridge as cross my son's suffering you have been purchased for a price and you honored it and you have made your way okay Tamilian and you can see what you are doing in the picture and the bridge is fulfilled. If you are strong in this world, you can go to the limit. If you are high jump or low jump, you are very athlete. But you can see that you are the corner of the nature. That is the moment you are the moment. If you have a solution, you can use a solution to the solution to the solution. You can use a solution to the solution and use a solution to the solution. That way you can cross the bridge. How easy are you brother or sister. That's why I am so excited. That's why I am so excited. Let's move on. I think this is enough for an explanation. So I'm moving back to the original topic. So here, if you see, we are now getting into the session of we are going to talk about the difference between grace and mercy. And we are going to get into certain illustrations quickly. And then we will have a detailed study on grace. All of this, we are planning to close it in the next 30 to 35 minutes. And we will since today is being the last session, we are closing the series. you want to spend five ten minutes in worship and we will make a word of prayer and then we will conclude okay are you all with me are you all ready so as usual i request you please have your bibles next to you but don't worry the difference between grace and mercy i i don't have much of the paraphrases from bible but it's more of explanation so just focus for the next five ten minutes and then you you anyway have your bible next to you okay i trust you all right what is the difference between grace and mercy okay so what is the difference between grace and mercy all right so the basic definition so we are there are various parameters upon which you can assess the difference between the grace and mercy okay so let us touch upon the possible parameters okay what is the meaning the difference you know the first parameter is meaning the difference in the meaning right difference in meaning grace is actually the act of endowing favors or undeserving favors which are unmerited kind of okay which we have seen enough mercy mercy is the act of withholding punishment which is deserved by someone withholding the punishment See, for example, somebody commits a crime and they are appearing before the court. And the judge seems to be merciful. And what he has done is he is ensuring that the punishment is taken back. Although that person deserves that is mercy, mercifully. There is a mercy plea. They send letters to who is that? The president, if a person has been already rewarded the death sentence or they and the president, if he sanctions, the death sentence can be converted to life sentence. That is like until the end of his life, he can he will have to spend in prison. Similarly, father was merciful. You can call it as a Old Testament way of being merciful. Father is merciful. When they go to the synagogue or the temple of God, they go through the sin offering process. And the punishment is withheld by God or punishment is taken away. He has forgiven them. But you know what is the meaning of grace? Grace is something like you and I need not even go to the court. somebody else took our place as if like you have not committed a crime you don't even have to go through that process of being sentenced to death and you know submitting the mercy plea and all that it's as good as like you don't even have to the court your you know father does that's why abrus 8 12 says right i remember your sins no more i'll be as good as saying i knew not what you have done so what is this you're talking about i have forgotten and forgiven why because my son jesus took it upon him he went through this jesus carried all the sufferings upon him iniquities diseases sickness curses bondage upon him matthew 8 17 says that what does it mean is he took our place exactly our place although we deserve he took that place on our behalf i want you to take and read 1 peter 1 peter chapter 3 uh verse 18 that clarifies everything about grace are you with me maybe you are but i haven't give me a moment one three uh one peter 3 18 you with me okay for christ also suffered once for sins whose sins the sins of the world from the foundation all the way till the end of the earth not only from past present future all three perspectives he has he has taken he has taken sin upon himself and the just for the unjust that he might bring us to god being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the spirit he died for the unrighteous people although he was righteous therefore we don't have to go through this process of getting condemned and all that that's why by new testament no condemnation all the condemnations have been punishment chastisements have been put upon him icf 53 5 has been has been had been cast upon jesus and he carried it on our behalf and therefore we don have to go through this okay that the basic meaning or definition next parameter what are the related words related words grace versus mercy grace can be explained as a favor favor is different from you know being compassionate and forgiving judge is compassionate says that okay fine since this guy is pleading so much i understand this family circumstance and he didn't commit the murder because of a deliberate attempt due to a deliberate attempt it was accident and all that for various reasons just judge judge says you know i have compassionate and i forgive that's mercy but grace is it's like a favor and which cannot be even explained you know uh it just cannot be explained those are the you know later what next parameter is what is the root the root cause or the kind of the you know the meaning that is what is the depth of the root you know sometimes to find the depth of the root you ought to keep digging digging and 10 feet 20 feet sometimes the trees that are even hundred 300 years old you know the root would have gone even half a mile so the root is what grace as a a Greek root in the word that is called as karmis meaning favor again same thing only mercy is also derived from a Greek word called as Elios meaning pity I feel pity on him since he has you know sanctified himself but through a sin offering or whatever I pity him but that's not permanent that's temporary again you have to plead for the mercy and this time it depends on the mood of the judge he's not going to let you go that easily but the permanent fix are all the time or every time almost every time or all the time god is going to be consistent in his behavior because his son jesus suffered and that's a permanent fix right and grace is something like that now grace in in a typical sense if you see right it relates to someone who is unworthy that is the beauty of grace in so you think it's a deserving favor under you know deserving mercy deserving forgiveness etc but the beauty here is or the truth here is it's an undeserving forgiveness it's an undeserving grace you and i don't even deserve for that forgiveness for that you know clear to be accepted and we aren't are we really worthy of you know moving away moving off from the punishment actually no but still you are given you are given that second chance third chance you're given that forgiveness you're given uh that you know your petitions are answered forgive me okay done i want to be washed by the blood of jesus and get cleansed and be free done i want to be redeemed and delivered done i want to be free of bondages done but do you deserve to get all these petitions answered supplications answered by the father actually no. Someone else died for us. That's why we read the verse 1 Peter 3 18. Okay. Now leads to. Leads to where? What is all of this leading to? Right. It is generally believed that grace leads to reconciliation. Reconciliation. Reconciliation. That's why Tamil comes to the Tamil. Kattroodu Kitti Shere. Parishu Thaaviyanavuroodu Thirupiyampoi. Namma Samadhanao ithe pannikiroon leya. Veetle santa potu groan then null pass on moji to kya chitru po per mona nal enna ponderon for the light up sara panga unnotar light alivada light up s manga unno konjo after nerko or patna lala seria per okay so if you have a you know if you have a little clash within the family what happens two three days you don't tend to talk but after somebody reaches put the first step forward then what happens matter of few days you get reconciled you get into the peace treaty exactly right now nothing can make peace with God sin will only separate us from God Sin has nothing to do with holiness. Therefore, God is not on your side. However, we get reunited, reconciled. What? That's what we saw in the picture, right? The bridge is nothing but a cross and Jesus' blood. Mercy, what it leads to? It is widely believed that mercy takes one to the path of forgiveness. See, there is a big difference, brother. Forgiveness doesn't mean you have reconciled. See, some people, they fight like dogs. and assume one of them is a brother in Jesus Christ. And they fought like the war of words were so terrible. The whole public witnessed it and all that. But still he comes back in fasting and prayer. Holy Spirit reveals, okay, forgive that brother. Therefore, he forgives from the heart. But you know what? Next time when they meet, eyeball to eyeball, obviously this brother is not going to get along in a similar manner. Why? because a nasty fight happened right and the whole public had witnessed it you cannot reconcile it's not easy to get along you know putting your hands over the shoulders but christianity says the walk of if you walk in the path of christ it is possible ephesians 4 2 432 colossians 4 6 with all grace with all lowliness and gentleness matthew 6 14 christ forgave us that way although he died being just for the unjust while he can forgive why not you right that's the same concept you can also live and father also looks at you in the same way next time you go meet eyeball to eyeball to father imagine right you committed that shame in public in public means what you cannot hide anything from the father you might have committed that sin in the secret only private place but father is everywhere no next time you go as if nothing has happened meeting father eyeball to eyeball but still he looks at you forgiving everything forgetting everything remember no more what it means i have forgotten man forget it what makes him to do that grace the suffering behind the cross suffering on the cross you understand all right i think this is good enough we touched upon almost all the parameters to take you through a short ride short journey helping you understand the difference between grace and mercy all right now little illustrations only two verses we are going to make a exclusive study as an illustration of grace turn with me to titus chapter 2 titus chapter 2 it's much before peter james and i think it's much before hebrews give me a moment titus okay before philemon titus chapter 2 verse 11 can we read it together you have your bibles okay for the grace of god that brings salvation as appeared to all men so what happens is christians live every day by the grace of god that's a known concept but knowingly or unknowingly you keep confessing by the grace of god brother i got promotion by the grace of god brother i reached here by the grace of god brother i it's becoming more of a traditional saying to express your humility yeah even heathens do that even uh hindus do that muslims all the religion they do that by the grace of uh god i i it all happened but the christian grace the grace behind the cross or on the cross is different it leads you not only to get reconciled with the father's love again and the companionship of the holy spirit but also there is a promising eternal life which you do not deserve for the sin that you have committed you have fallen short of glory those that have fallen short of glory they have one place that welcomes them is hell lake of fire but still you have an escape and that's called as grace i hope you understood now but you see forgiveness according to the riches of god's grace and grace drives our sanctification you get sanctified you get into the realm of purification and you get purified and there is no more blemish in you you're clean you're righteous you're cleansed completely you're refined as a gold bible says that one john 1 7 to 10 you can take and read okay now paul tells us the grace of god has appeared bringing salvation to all the people training us to you know renounce ungodliness you renounce ungodliness and worldly passions it it stays far away from you and therefore you are exposing a lot of the fruits in the holy spirit such as being self-controlled walking upright and living godly yeah and as a bonus god also ensures that you receive gifts like the wisdom and knowledge and yeah god willing he gives you prophecy why because you have understood the concept of reconciliation and over a period of time what happens you know brother you will not live the life of regret you will live live the life of repentance yeah by doing all this do i mean to say that you will never sin no sin will fight against us. The carnal being will fight against us until the last day on planet earth. Until your last breath, you will live in the spiritual warfare against the principalities and the powers of darkness. As long as you live in this earth, you got to overcome the atomic sins. You got to overcome the powers of darkness. The heavenlies, you have to fight every single day. Yeah, in Psalm 91, if you take and read the arrows of the day, the terror of the night and the pestilence in the noon, shift to so They work in shifts. The powers of darkness is right. And we have seen in the picture in one of the sessions, staterers, it's slightly open and they climb up and down. Why? Because they do get tired, don't they? Yeah. And they work in shifts and they have people to support them. What a fellowship the demonic hosts have got with each other, right? Have established with each other. Do we have such kind of fellowship, brother? Are we fighting against the principalities and powers of darkness with the joining hands with the brethren across the globe? do we have that kind of association do we have that kind of fellowship actually it's it's a little shameful isn't it and that's the strength for the devil that's why jesus always encourages two or three he says two or three is just not a literal number but if possible at least two or three come that doesn't mean you have to limit your number to three possible you join hands with as much as possible all your relatives join together hands hands together all your friends all your known ones dear ones join hands join hands chain prayer in one accord in one spirit yeah in one capacity in one ability we are being the members in the same body jesus is the head oh the principalities of darknesses have no room they just cannot break their tails anymore you're going to defeat them crush the head of the Satan right under your foot when it happens. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't be praying in private. Of course, brother, it's needed. Jesus demonstrated that as well, right? As much as he wanted fellowship with the people, he also ensured that he always departed from this crowd and he had to or he will have to, you know, seek the father speaking in mysteries and understanding the next day's plan, etc. And he was spending time with father, a lot of time with father indeed. You have to continuously do that. but there is so there are many things that you cannot achieve all alone you have to join hands with your brethren and that's what bible encourages okay good um that's one illustration titus 2 11 i think you understood right the grace will get um what i say the empowering of grace happens upon you or that will be grace given to you in overwhelming measures only when you join and you will be led into the life of salvation also spiritual growth doesn't happen overnight the next one second peter 2 18 spiritual happen spiritual growth doesn't happen overnight i told you many times it's a progressive event it happens progressively second peter 2 18 are you with me okay for when they speak great swelling words of emptiness who who speak they speak great swelling words is it pastors is it the head of the family sometimes yes or most of the times yes because they only talk they're the head but he's saying empty words it's it's like empty big empty prayers big prayer but empty nothing is there why it is all your own imagination you are not connecting with the word of god they allure through the lusts of the flesh through licentiousness the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error you understood we grow in grace and knowledge of our lord jesus christ but grace alone transforms our desires not your empty prayers not your long prayers not your swollen words and all that but here he's saying the different aspect is that cleansing will take us to the realm of getting transformed and the transformation gets us the new desires being instilled in us and that becomes our motivation motivation in our walk with the lord in the midst of the sufferings what you need brother to keep you away from depression motivation and that is ensured when you have understood jesus christ our lord and the grace left behind and the behavioral changes also you will be witnessing that's the beauty the grace see it starts with grace but then you will understand over a period of time do i really deserve isn't it god the compassionate father should i not exercise the same um exhibit the same quality as as that of my father to other people whom i knew my dear ones near ones loving ones or unknown ones you will be the same brother okay i think this is the demonstration of grace illustration of grace so let's let's make a let's get into the last section the last section i promise you that we will close this in next 20 minutes 20 to 25 minutes maximum then we will worship the lord and then we will have a word of prayer and we are done we are done with the series okay good good detailed study on grace is the subtitle i would like to give and then we're going to talk about various aspects or nomenclature or features characteristic features behind this or part of this powerful you know concept called grace of jesus okay the first one is our christian identity i will have to refer bible now be ready with your bible let's go for a ride and i want all of you to pay attention turn your bibles with me to 1 corinthians chapter 1 verse 10 that tells that's our identity what is identity not other card not your uh what is that um in a u.s people ss ssn number right social security number that may be your national identity as far as your worldly things are concerned but you know what is the heavenly identity one corinthians 110 by the grace of god i am what i am that's it short verse good one grace we had been describing almost like you know for one and a half hours or more than that now you have understood what grace is undeserving that means what you should think when you say not for the sake of you know saying by the grace of god it all happened brother by the grace of god by the grace means what i don't deserve man so don't use strong words like i'm nuts i have nothing in my head nothing don't be so humble appreciate feel good uh but for what what god had done through you our our brothers know they go to extremity sometimes yeah Do not have to lower your standards that much in the name of grace. That you know I'm not even worthy. I'm like a dog and all that. So don't use such strong words because God looks at you with a lot of respect and dignity. Therefore, you deserve because you are the creation of God and spirit of God is in you. But always have the attitude that it is not by my strength, not by my might, but by the grace of God. Say like that. OK. And that's the identity, Christian identity. All right. I hope you're with me. So next time when you have won a medal or when you have got a promotion of course you should feel proud being the believer in Christ that you got that elevation and you are leaving behind a very good testimony That your identity But you inside of your heart Always have that submission or not submission, submissiveness that it's by the grace. It's by the grace that although I don't deserve Jesus, God, it for me, Holy Spirit, help me. OK, let's move on. What is the what is the next nomenclature of grace? Our standing before God. okay Romans 5 2 this is the grace in which we stand Romans 5 2 have you turned with me this is the grace in which we stand I'm just picking up the strong words but the words may be a little longer this is part of my notes so let me read it for you just give me a moment Romans 5 2 are you with me okay through whom we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand and rejoice in the hope of the glory of god okay our standing before god we don't even deserve to go and stand before god do you know can you go and stand before the president of u.s united states of america you have to go through so many protocol checks you will have probably book an appointment in a year early yeah superpower where and even prime minister of india you want to go and meet him in the pm office just like that you can't enter right how is that the throne room My father. You think you deserve? All of them will tell you, You're your father. You're your father. You're your father. We'll tell you, We're one of the sessions. You're your father. Sin offering. That's why you're your father. Old Testament. That's why our lord jesus was cut into pieces that's why without even knowing that job uh tells that even you cut me into pieces that that was the kind of sin offering they used to give john job 13 15 i think okay and all that cost for jesus therefore you can make a decent entry you can make a you know sovereign entry why because it was cast on jesus a standing before god becomes much easier much easier we can get access easy access to the throne room of god all right next one the title our behavior what is the next feature or nomenclature of grace our behavior now turn with me to second corinthians chapter 2 verses 12 i'll be emphasizing on certain words but we need to read the entire words now we have received not the spirit of the world but the spirit who is from god that we might know the things that we have that have been freely given to us by god what is the emphasis here we behaved in this world according to the worldly desires according to the worldly standards but by the grace of god we get that you know free forgiveness free reconciliation everything therefore it's not by our behavior but it's by the behavior of jesus on the cross how he had not cursed us but he was still praying until the last moment leaving behind a great example that we also should behave like him okay let's move on in the interest of time i'm moving a little fast you might be seeing that because i have a lot of points to cover here and we are done our living is the next title the next feature is our living first three things let me recap for you i will recap finally our christian identity number two our standing before god number three our behavior and number four is our living before god okay romans 5 17 turn with me to romans 5 17 romans chapter 5 verse 17 for if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one that is jesus christ okay and what does it means is the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in us, in our lives, in our living. It's because of that one man, Jesus Christ, who suffered and left behind a great gift or rewarded us with a great gift called his grace. Therefore, our living, our living standards got elevated. That's why I'm a great believer in the spiritual prosperity as much as I have a belief in spiritual prosperity. I also believe in materialistic prosperity, our living, our standard of life. gets elevated. We don't have to suffer. We are not in curse. What did I say? If you have a spiritual prosperity, that's what you say, you say, this spiritual thing is right. Materialistic thing is right. You are in poverty. That's why you are in a ultimate, you are in a cut-down, you are in a cut-down, you are in a cut-down. You are in a cut-down. We are in a cut-down. We are in a cut-down. Let's read one more verse. I think it's part of my study. Let me check my notes very quickly. I don't think I have noted that. Turn with me to 2 Corinthians. I will read it for you. when it comes to living right uh i will show these verses second corinthians 8 verse 9 and we are going to read one more for you know the grace of our lord jesus christ though that that though he was rich you know he's a prince of heaven and he the whole universe belongs to him all the gold diamond silver ruby everything belongs to him yet for your sake he became poor that you through his poverty might become rich why it said might will become rich in elidhama why it is written as might become rich because it depends how much you trust in this verse it depends how much you claim how much of faith you have how much closer you get to cross it's conditional statement it's conditional okay second corinthians 9 chapter 9 verse 8 in the say in the same page 9 and 8 okay and god is able to make all grace abound towards you that you always having all sufficiency in all things. Do you understand what is all sufficiency? In Tamil it is say paripurnam yalla vattwilam paripurnam samburnamam adayakumbadhi karttar yeshu khirubay vittittu poya irukana. Eppidi basu eppidi youmgulik one and the oru patra kore varudhu How is that you are falling short of materialistic things or spiritual deeds or whatever it is right and listen to the next one having all sufficiency in all things and have an abundance for every good work that you do anything in the name of jesus it's only a good work anything you do in the name of jesus you can trust you can have faith you can study you can work you can drive you can run you can exercise anything you do in the name of jesus is good good and that good work will have abundance only god came to elevate our living standards you believe okay let's move on the next feature fifth one our holiness very simple second timothy chapter 2 verse 9 2 Timothy chapter 2 verse 9 God called us to a holy calling and because of his own purpose and grace it's very simple right why that grace is given is therefore you become your body becomes a temple of God the Holy Spirit dwells therefore those who want to become more holy can become more holy Revelation 22 11 1 Corinthians 3 16 is fulfilled with the concept of grace next sixth our strength for living our strength for living is the next title strength we need the strength to live every day right not just a physical strength but the spiritual strength second timothy chapter 2 verse 1 and hebrews 39 we will read it for you um second timothy one second i'm i'm i'm i'm turning my bible second timothy chapter 2 verse 1 are you with me okay you therefore my son be strong in the grace that means as much as you've understood the grace you also stick to it consistently steadfastly concrete concrete work solid work with god but in the name of grace don't turn left or right that is in jesus christ okay likewise hebrews um hebrews uh 39 turn with me to hebrews 39 it's after second timothy all right uh do not be carried about with various and strong doctrines see sometimes we are too philosophical philosophical right and we move away from the gospel too theological move away from the gospel so do not be that way only with the doctrines for it is good the heart be established by grace believe it in your heart take it down to your heart that is the root not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them yeah do not be a glutton that also means but the whole thing is we need strength and what does it mean that versus strength by just eating the food alone cannot be the strength physical strength is needed you need to eat well no problem but you need to exercise well to burn the calories but this is about physical aspect the spiritual aspect is what you feed in your daily food mana okay next nomenclature next feature our way of speaking our way how we conduct that is a contact certificate right when you walk out of any school college satisfactory very good very nice poor bad something like that how is our way of speaking right collations 1 6 and collations 4 6 let your speech always be gracious very important brothers that's the important foundation for forgiveness i i quoted this verse before also colossians uh chapter 4 verse 6 can we talk very quickly about that uh and i will be quoting one more verse verse 6 let your speech always be with grace seasoned with salt right seasoned with salt with that is no taste at all look how he talks blunt that you may know how you how to answer each one first of all you need to understand how to answer each one some people's behavior are like i would say it's the right word to use awkward or uncouth i do not know uh peculiar behavior they look at you know in a 10 degree angle their head will tilt and or some people will look you know look down as if they are 10 feet above you and the way how they respond so what's a big deal something like that you know talk with seasoned salt i mean talk with grace and seasoned with salt meaning there should be some taste flavor be kind right that you may know how you out to answer each one okay now turn with me to So Ephesians chapter 4, Ephesians chapter 4, verse 2. I am sorry, I'm in Philippians. Ephesians chapter 4, verse 2. With all lowliness and gentleness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love, enduring to keep the unity of the spirit and the bond of peace, right? You have to sometimes tolerate people. So therefore, your speaking style changes when you get into the mode of tolerance and patience. The way how you talk will be awesome to listen, brother. You will be so soft, tender. The other person will be barking like a dog almost. But the words that come out of you, oh, such a cool guy he is. That's another character which you get out of grace. Because you understand you don't deserve Jesus. Our father deserves to talk at you like that. Barking like a dog. What is this you have done? How many times to tell you? But they don't do that. Therefore, you also have to behave the same way to others, right? Okay. Our serving, next character or the feature. are serving. We tend to serve others and not to demand or control others. Understand? Servant leadership is another skill set which the corporate industry will be looking for. Otherwise, you get a lot of ego. You serve others with no ego. 1 Peter 1, verse 10, serving one another as good stewards of servants of God's varied grace. Okay, let's move on. our sufficiency my grace is sufficient for you second corinthians 12 9 and second corinthians 2 8 right god is able to make all grace abound to you so that having all sufficiency i think we sorry second corinthians 9 8 i think we read that already um second corinthians 9 you have all sufficiency in everything that you do an abundance in every good work you do i'm skipping that brother let's move on to the next character our response to difficulty and suffering what will be the response to difficultly and suffering, immediately the mouth will wide open, one kilometer wide and it will say, I'm not going to waste it. I'm not going to be able to get this. They are going to be one of them. They are going to be one of them. Are you correct? Don't worry about it. That's why you are going to be a good person. You have to be a little patient. You have to be a long-suffering tolerance. People who go through that difficult situation, something and i i'm not even talking about extreme difficulty which can under which i which can for example you are diagnosed with a dreadful disease okay understand understand you will be in depression no problem take your time and come out but how about very light problems medium problem immediately you will start cursing your birth whatever hebrews 4 16 we get grace to help in the time of need and when you have suffered a little while the god of all grace 1 peter 1 10 1 peter 1 10 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 10 when you have suffered a little while the God of all grace will himself restore confirm strengthen and establish you wow what a verse quite a verse isn't it then why is this when you why are you allowed to suffer without suffering there is no glory brother there is no glory book of life will be empty if a brother suffering but a sister suffering is coming and giving you suffering you know what bible says in Ephesians 4 32 read with me and be kind to one another no not the ephesians 4 32 i think it is ephesians 4 now romans chapter 12 can turn with me to romans chapter this is not part of my notes but i somehow thank holy spirit to who reminded me romans chapter 12 turn with me verse 14 and 15 are you with me 14 and 15 bless those who persecute you blessed and do not curse rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. What you know, 14 is nothing but if you bless them only, it will get recorded in the book of life and book of remembrance sometimes. Why? Jesus behaved the same way, right? He blessed you. He prayed for you. When you have inflicted him with all kind of nailing, scourging, etc. Spitting on the face. Try spitting on somebody's face. You will know what kind of reaction will be coming out of. Spitting on the face, slapping on the face is the most shameful thing. Even you slap a five-year-old kid in front of someone or even in private, it is the most shameful thing to do. Yeah, slapping on the face. Jesus was better on the slap or many people slapped him multiple times. Just like that. They came and slapped him and then only they were asking things. You got to bless those people. Why? Because you are depicting the character of Christ and accepting the grace with all reverence. and you are kind to others. Our response to difficulty and suffering is the next character. Our response to difficulty and suffering will be kind, tender, grace, seasoned with salt. We have three to four more characters to discuss. Let's move on, brothers. Our participation in God's mission. The next characteristic feature is our participation in God's vision, mission, divine plan. We will be part of God's mission. Okay, what is that? Acts chapter 11, verse 23. As recipients of grace, we are privileged to serve as agents of grace believers receive grace for free therefore you give it for free and serve others god's mission and acts 13 43 i just took the words that are important we and get encouraged continually in grace so i'm not having more you should have motivation you should have self-motivation why because that's the concept of grace and you don't get it self-motivation you have not understood grace acts 1343 and acts 2024 you are called to testify the grace of god yeah by through your acts and deeds so you behave like someone and you talk about grace people will say there is no connection man between your behavior attitude and the grace you talking about first you go behave properly and then come back and talk about jesus don you think people will treat you shamefully john 20 21 as the father has sent me even so i am sending you jesus has a mission divine plan right first of all you need to understand the grace and be instilled with grace and you also need to replicate grace reflection of grace should be seen in you through your behavior and all that That's why we are talking about the characteristic features that should be part of your system. What system? Human system only. After you go to heaven, you will take a different form. But until then, you need to take this form only. Therefore, in this system, you need to instill. Next characteristic feature or nomenclature or future. God and his grace is everlasting. Set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1.13. And our future is dependent on how much you have understood grace and accepted grace and walking in grace. That matters. Okay. Next one is eternal life. In other words, our hope beyond death. After death, what happens to me, brother? Yes, it's written. Grace through righteousness leading to eternal life through Christ Jesus, our Lord. Romans 5.21. Romans 5.21. I think we have gone through this eternal life many times. But this is one such thing where you can have hope. As far as you will be heading towards after your death. Okay. Okay. Ephesians chapter 1 verse 7. It says, you know, redeemed life. Life and redemption is the next character or feature that is part of grace. Nomenclature. In him, we have redemption through his blood. The forgiveness of sin in accordance with the riches of God's grace. God's grace in accordance with the riches of God's grace. Okay. So that is the redeemed life in me. Why? Because you have gone and got caught somewhere and somebody has to sacrifice, meaning he has to pay that money on your behalf and redeem your property and give it back into your hand. yeah you are caught up in some debts which you cannot repay something like that so redemption redeemed life is another nomenclature we get out of grace okay the bottom line is the gospel is the conclusion how we want to conclude this whole episode or the whole series is the gospel is all about God's grace through Jesus Christ and that's why Paul calls it as the gospel of grace of God Acts 20 24 and the word of his grace. Acts 14 3. These are the two verses which tells about the grace of God that is so imminent, powerful, planted in us. And you just cannot uproot it through your sinful deeds. And it's a dishonor. Dishonor. You want to honor? You better honor the word of grace through your lifestyle. The gospel of the grace of God is the message everyone needs. But knowingly or unknowingly, your soul will continue to search for that grace. Why? Because nothing else can lead it towards the sight of God. Nothing else can redeem us from the atomic sins. Right? The word of grace is proclaimed from every page of the Bible. If you have seen every cover to cover, it's all about grace. And ultimately it is revealed in Jesus Christ. Messianic prophecies have been spoken for 4,000 years. But it was ultimately fulfilled in our Lord Jesus Christ. The last verse of the Bible summarizes the message from Genesis to Revelation. We all have to read it together. Can you turn with me and we will close it now. revelation chapter uh 22 and 21 one more verse also we have to read and we have to do one more verse um 20 to 21 last verse 20 to 21 the grace of our lord jesus christ be with you all amen do you understand he could have ended it in style in different note holy spirit but holy spirit decides to talk about the grace grace alone can help us to reach the eternal life grace alone can help us to step into the kingdom of heaven grace alone will help you to kick the gold in this this is my own imagination it's not in bible but i'll tell you you will be part of the spiritual family and what can take you there grace through jesus we all have received grace upon grace john one john yeah that's the last verse we will do and with this brothers we are closing this episode we are closing this series you're all sad i know like how when paul deported people were continuously hugging and kissing him and crying why because they were sure they are not going to see him back again and they wept all the more but that's not the case between you and me we will meet you shortly with another series don't you want to hear so many series like this so do not cry do not be sad be overwhelmed with joy and pray for us especially i'm asking you pray for us help ask god to give us more time more energy more health more strength to do such series therefore we are all united in christ isn't it wonderful brothers that we talk about the word of god in unity in a unified format right okay last words through Jesus we have all of his John 1 1 John 1 1 John 1 sorry sorry that was not the right words I'm sorry so I think that's enough sorry that got that got income that got I would say misspelled that got encompassed in the same actually what I wanted to do is i want to talk about revelation 22 1 and connect it with another verse that talks about the gratitude being gratitude but that's not necessary so brothers and sisters we will end here and it was a nice study it was a nice journey with you it was so nice talking to one and all of you wherever you are which place which part of the world i do not know but what i know is one day we will all be united in christ and we will all meet in heaven in glory and we will join hands at that part of time and let us have our our our association or um what to say our relationship established with christ and when we all walk together you know why we do all the series is ultimately to ensure that none of us are left behind on earth none of us are left behind in the place of torment we all have to be in glory we all have to be with the lord jesus christ and we all have to enjoy our life in heavenly realm right therefore thank you for your patience and i i i recommend if for just like that if you go through once you may not understand i would say you can rewind the tape again and go through it once or twice because it is such a rich context right took us several months to prepare this and by the grace of god we have presented i think you understand uh how much it is important to know about the blood of jesus name of jesus cross and its importance and the resurrection power that is instilled in us the power and the role of the holy spirit which is kind of workmanship in us and ultimately the grace how it takes us every day closer to us closer to god sorry closer to god okay now we are going to sing couple of songs and we are going to make a word of prayer and then we close this okay right close this series and session and we will meet you shortly in a different series okay so a couple of english songs and one Tamil song. Okay. One Tamil song we will be singing. Okay. Are you all with me? I don't have a guitar. I don't know how to play any musical instrument. My child is well versed with that, but I have not yet gone into that because that's not my calling. I somehow tried it, but I couldn't pick that up. Yeah. Not made for me, I think. But I love singing. I may not be a great singer, but it's okay. What God looks is the heart but not the tone or the voice. But I may be slightly out of tune here and there but just bear with me. But you sing along with me. We are going to sing a couple of songs. Father in Heaven, How I Love You. And we are going to sing Ascribe Greatness to the Lord of God. And then we are going to sing a Tamil song. Nirindri, Edhu Mingillai. Ascribe greatness to the Lord our God. His work is perfect and all His ways are just. Ascribe greatness to the Lord our God. His work is perfect and all His ways are just. My God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous in upright is He. My God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous in upright is He. My Lord Jesus, righteous in upright, righteous in upright. Righteous in our pride you are My Lord Jesus, righteous in our pride Righteous in our pride Righteous in our pride you are My Lord Jesus, righteous in our pride you are Father in heaven, how I love you I lift your name in all the earth May your kingdom be established in our praises As your people declare your mighty works Blessed be the Lord God Almighty Who was an easy and easy to come Blessed be the Lord God Almighty, who reigns forevermore. Sing with me, brothers. Father in heaven, how I love you. I lift your name in all the earth. May your kingdom be established in our praises. As your people declare your mighty works Blessed be the Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come Oh blessed be the Lord God Almighty Who reigns forevermore Lord who reigns forevermore. I'm going to sing a Tamil song. I don't know whether you may know it or not, but just join hands with me. Let's sing it together. It says, meaning without the Father, without the grace, without the love of the Father and the companionship of the Holy Spirit, it's not me who is capable to do things on my own, according to my will, according to my desires, capability or talent. Absolutely. We are all dependent on Jesus. Therefore, can we all sing this song together? Right? The song goes like this. Nirindri non-nilai. Umanbindri engu-nilai. Okay? I'm not a person. I'm going to be a little bit. Thank you. యన్యం్చిల్ నిలైక్యం తూఇమయాయ ఉమై తుదికిరహం నావు ఏన కానదయి నీరారిందిరంది ఇన్రి అదరకాగ ఉమై తేడివందే I am the one who is a teacher. Lord may they get light upon their sinful deeds and bring them closer to cross and bring them closer to your love and compassion let them reconcile every single moment and walk in the power of grace and walk in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ Lord may they not be plunged in any kind of sinful deeds but may they be you know coming out of all kinds of you know that the sin that the Holy Spirit is revealing to them and may they walk in holiness may they walk in righteousness as it is written in Revelation 20 to 11, Lord.
