Praise the Lord! My dear brothers and sisters, a warm welcome to one and all of you and it's such a joy. It's a great pleasure to be part of this sessions and it's a great honor that God had instilled in us. And I'm so happy and so privileged to be part of these sessions and we could discuss from the Word of God and meditate together. and the reason why we kicked off these short sessions I have explained this is nothing but a sneak peek of what detailed Bible teachings are available in our channel and this is to just give you an idea of how our ministry is organized and how our ministry is positioned all according to the plan of God all according to the divine will of God such things cannot happen but one man's power and I'm nothing before God I keep telling you this I've just surrendered my body, mind, spirit and soul and my time and energy and my talents back into the hands of God because all of these came from him, right? It doesn't belong to me or you and we give that back to God but for you to give a sneak peek, get a sneak peek of how we have organized him and now what is the call that God, you know, had for our ministries, what is the divine will, these short sessions are going to help. All right, now today's concept will be to read from the Bible, the word of God, Hebrews 2, 18. Hebrews 2, 18. I'm going to read that word of God. For in that he himself has suffered being tempted. He is able to aid those who are tempted. Right? For in that he himself has suffered being tempted. Right? In other versions it comes even more clearer. Christ was tempted like us at all points. I remember reading that from NIV or BSI, I don't remember. One of this is true. Or maybe in the Bible dictionary, you get that enhanced version of what that actually means. Or the original Aramaic translation is, Christ was tempted like you and me at all points. Now, when Jesus was called for ministry, Matthew chapter 4 and Luke 4, you take and read offline. I'm giving you some exercises because there are a lot of misconceptions. Many people think Jesus is the son of God and Jesus was given birth by mother Mary yet they don't believe that Jesus took that form. That means Father Yahweh makes that choice. That's why Jesus says, No, I in Father and Father in me. They are no different. Do not separate Father from Jesus and Jesus from Father. They are one in all, right? That's called as Blessed Trinity. John 14, 23 you take and read. I'm giving you references then and there. What does it mean is, Jesus although had the choice to be born in a palace, to be born supernaturally, to be born with powers, to be born with 24,000 angels on this side and, you know, 100,000 angels on this side. And the moment he commands, they can go on, basically, nobody would even, you know, think twice. See, as much as these Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes, they fought against Jesus. You think they would even lift their little finger to fight against the Roman soldiers? You think Jesus is even lower or lesser than the Roman soldiers? actually not that's called as the spirit of humility that itself proves that Jesus never took that supernatural form neither he had been given powers from his birth right and I will prove to you in a moment it's going to be a short session 15 minutes we will close okay now I will prove that to you step by step right that means what that proves that Jesus never used any of the powers although he had all the powers and authority because he is the darling of the heaven and he has the authority to command in the you know in the gestimony garden when that event happens Peter takes his sword and knife and kind of chops of one guy's ears Jesus turns around those who shall lift this sword they will die by this sword but he makes a statement if I were to command you know the heaven will deploy 12 legions of angels which means 24,000 angels will be deployed to take care of his 20 soldiers. Therefore, that's not... Therefore, he had known... He had been not given... Blessed with the supernatural powers naturally That not the way how he was given birth But Jesus acquired those powers How Lot of scholars make this research and I will condense and tell you in a very simple tense Jesus was born like you and me naturally and he was born as a baby and he was born as a and then he started becoming toddler. Then he starts to understand little bit of knowledge, right, until the age of five. Until the age of five he was in that baby format only, right? Joseph used to do babysitting. By then, you know, few more babies were born for, you know, Mary and Joseph. That's what, you know, the history is all about. But at the age of five, from the age of five, at least Jesus should have gone to synagogue every single day and emphasize the chief priest or priest or whoever was there to read the scriptures for him. Because why? There wasn't Bible in the printed format given, right? That was in Bible. As early as 14th century, only the first printed Bible came and that too in the Latin, this thing. Then only in the early 15th or 16th century, they have translated the New Testament in English and they killed that guy. Then someone else will have to carry that journey and translate the Old Testament. All this is in a different historical background. I will not get in there. Right. Seven years, Jesus would go every single day. Only then it was possible for him to finish reading all the scriptures from the Bible. And therefore, he was all charged with the knowledge and wisdom that he was able to deal with these Pharisees, Sadducees and scribes, especially Pharisees. They are not ordinary people. I will cover that in a different session. How Pharisees as a generation, they were formed and when they were formed and all that. We will see. God willing, we will do that. But I want you to know this, that Jesus was not blessed with that wisdom naturally. No, no. He acquired it through hard work. He earned it through his lifestyle, through his living, right? Through his sincere attitude, through his loyalty to God, through sincere efforts. And he had done a tremendous hard work. At the age of 12, he was able to sit there for three days and three nights and deal with his Pharisees. interestingly Pharisees never sent the temple soldiers to go and search for the boys parents boys parents they came because they know they will come searching back to the temple let them stay here because the conversation was so interesting right I'm coming to the point now the same Jesus again continues to grow in the wisdom of God in the stature of men and God in favor of men and God Bible says in Luke 2 52 for the next 18 years by then Joseph passes away and he gets additional responsibilities. He supports his mother Mary and he takes care of his younger brothers and sisters who were born to mother Mary and Joseph. And at the age of 30, excuse me, God opens the door for his ministries and he takes water baptism. And you know what happens? That's why now I'm coming to the Matthew 4 and Luke 4. Jesus was taken in spirit to the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Why? Because this Hebrews 2.18 can never be proved if he was not tempted by the devil like you and me. Today, we all go to Jesus. Jesus, what you understand about my problem? You know how devil is tormenting me. He deployed all his agents at my workplace. My boss is screaming like a devil and all my co-workers are torturing me or my wife is always you know almost she is biting me every day or my husband is always beating me every day jesus understands all of this why because if you read the bible carefully in the matthew 4 only one hour's event was recorded there only four or five events and if you say 40 days time the devil could tempt only that much if you measure the time no taking jesus to the pinnacle of the temple uh tempting jesus convert this stone into bread and you know worship me Therefore, I will give you everything. All these things, how long it would have taken? Less than 60 minutes. And that too on the last day. Right? Which means what? The remaining number of days in which Jesus was tempted is hidden. Why? Because you and I will not be able to bear or even imagine. Therefore, these are the sneak peeks that have been given as hint. Right? Jesus never used his powers. Or what Jesus, neither Jesus was not blessed with the powers naturally. But he earned it. That's what my point is. I'm sticking to that. And he had gone through he allowed himself to go through all these temptations Therefore when you pray to Jesus he understands you as our advocate He understands your sufferings as an intercessor And I will read the previous verse now, Hebrews 2, 17, right? It says, therefore, in all the things he had to be made like his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest. How can he be merciful? If somebody comes and tells you, pray for my sickness and all the time, whichever they weep, you will pray for them but not with a burden in your heart. But the same sickness you have gone through of the way you pray, the mannerism of your prayer, the way of your petition is going to be phenomenally different. Why? Because you have gone through the torture. You have gone through the harassment. You have gone through the pain. And that's why this word of God says, this Bible says very clearly that he is our faithful priest. He is a merciful priest. Why? Because he had been tempted and he had gone through all sorts of harassments and pains and I will come to sickness in a moment, right? And, you know, through things pertaining to God and to make propitiation for the sins of the people, right? He becomes the replacement of your sickness. Your sickness gets transformed to health. He becomes Jesus' name becomes the replacement for your harassment. Your harassment turns into peace. You know, people who are torturing you become peacemakers, right? The foreigners come and submit to you. Psalm chapter 18 and verse 44 says, it doesn't happen dramatically, but it costs for someone. When you come in the name of Jesus, why things changes dramatically, why things are transforming is because of this reason that he was tempted like you and me at all points, right? Now I'm coming to the sickness, right? How many of you believe that Jesus also would have had some headaches, migraines, clustered headaches, aches and pains in his body, some chills, some fever, some allergic bronchitis or little bit of wheezing. I am giving some list of things, but then nowhere there is an evidence in the Bible that Jesus went through these many list of sicknesses. Ask me why. I have an answer for that also. If Bible would have mentioned those list of sicknesses, they would have classified those sicknesses as holy sickness and unholy sickness. Because why? Whatever sickness Jesus went through or holy sickness, whatever he did not go through or unholy sickness, which means what? Cursed are you. That's why Bible did not prescribe the sicknesses what he went through. But out of my simple imagination, I'm just telling you this. Where in the Bible it is written, I will show you one more verse. Isaiah 53 and verse 3. All of you turn your Bible. He is despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. Yeah, he has gone through a lot of sorrowful situations. When his father Joseph passed away, some of you are thinking, what God understands about death? I lost my mother, I lost my father through this pandemic situation. Jesus understands pretty much what it is. And Bible says Jesus wept when this Mary and Martha, they came and cried. when he saw these ladies crying in agony Bible says Jesus wept only twice right once he wept over Jerusalem oh Jerusalem Jerusalem how much I have been merciful gathered you like how the hen gathers its chicks and all that he wept second time he looked at people especially death matter and that too he is aware that he is going to bring back Lazarus alive yet he wept because he is full of man of sorrow with grief because he understands he has gone through that when when he was a youngster, when he was almost a teenager at age of 16 or 17, Joseph passed away and you know Joseph loved Jesus and Jesus loved Joseph and his father passed away, a lot of little children and now not because he was sorrowful that all burden came and landed on my shoulders not like that, he has that intimacy attachment, he was walking in love and obedience, right and that's why he beeps right, he understands that and somebody is saying that what he understands about my sickness You go to the Bible dictionary and you, you know, acquaintances with grief. Actually, the original translation is sicknesses. That's why Matthew 8, 17, I will read another verse for you. Bible clarifies that. That's a Old Testament verse, actually. Matthew 8, 17 is, you know, is also talking about the sickness. And I will come to that point. Many people don't agree with this doctrine. How can Jesus be sick brother I proving it to you from the word of God Okay That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet saying notice this he himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. Infirmities I can understand. Okay. Jesus there was no sin in him but all the sins were cast on him. Something like that. Sicknesses, how the sicknesses can be virtually cast on him while he has not experienced. How is it possible for Jesus to understand when you are petitioning for healing? Tell me. That Bible becomes untrue. Bible becomes, you know, book of lies. No, it's a book of truth. Correct? No. That's why I started with Hebrews 2.18. I went all the way to Isaiah 53.3. Then I am coming to Matthew 8.17 to prove. And there is no prescription. These many sicknesses. Why? I told you that reason also I justified. Jesus was also having some problems. But he overcame through prayers. Father God healed him. Father God listened to his prayers. And therefore, he is the propitiation for our sins, which also means he is the propitiation for our sicknesses and infirmities and iniquities and transgressions and bondages, everything. And he is advocating our case. 1 John, no time to go through that. 1 John chapter 2 verses 1 and 2. He is our advocate. He advocates with all authority. Why? Because I was tempted like these people. I have gone through this sickness. My father father, therefore I ask you. I ask you because I've gone through this and I request you because in my name they have come. And father listens. The case is one. The Satan will come and, see God doesn't tempt. God doesn't inflict. But he permits Satan to do that. The Satan will come and inflict you. Of course you deserve because you would have done something wrong and God wants to chastise you, bring you back to the corrections, instill reproof and corrections and all that. No problem. But then when you come to your spiritual senses and humble yourself, And you go and repent. And you ask God, I want to reconcile. Please can you forgive me? In the name of Jesus I ask. You know the power behind the name of Jesus I am telling you. Many people claim 1 Peter 2.24. By the stripes of Lord Jesus I am healed. Do you understand the meaning? The meaning is not actually 1 Peter 24 or Isaiah 53.5. The meaning is in Hebrews 2.17 and 18. And Matthew 8.17 and Isaiah 53.3. That Jesus also went through these. And that's why he is able to listen and understand the pain. each time you weep in pain, when you go through certain sicknesses, Jesus weeps and he advocates for you. Do you believe that now? Right? Next time you go to Jesus, go with this confidence and understanding that of course he went through these problems. There wasn't anything hidden from him. He was born like you and me. He was brought up like you and me. He had grown like you and me. He never had been blessed with any supernatural powers naturally, but he acquired it, he earned it and he welcomes you. You also can earn powers like me. And you can do things greater than me. John 14, 12. And he welcomes you. And I'm a great believer. Right? Even I can become like Jesus as how he walked on earth in humility. Spirit of humility. Philippians 2 says that. Right? Spirit of humility. Therefore, please, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess. Philippians 2, 10 and 11. That he is the way, the life and the truth. And he is the Lord of lords and king of kings. When you accept Jesus that way, when your supplications you submit it in that way, believing and telling you, he will bring it to pass. When you come into your ways and trust in the Lord, you will bring it to pass, Bible says in Psalm 37.5. I hope you understood a clear understanding, Hebrews 2.18. God bless you. Take care.
