well when you talk about um you know um some of your songs like goddess is one of my favorite songs of yours that i constantly listen on repeat mode so uh why don't you take this time to share of course goddess is my favorite song but you also spoke about uh run the race uh just take this time to tell quickly you know the story behind both the songs and how it's been a blessing to people yeah for sure um well god is a unique one because i actually did not write that song that's the only song i've ever recorded that i didn't write myself um but it was presented to me um and i was like i can't not record this song because it's so in line with what i stand for and it's this I just have my deepest desire in all my ministry and all my life is to bring people back to trusting in who God is um when we have a the big view of God and we have an understanding of who he is like that is the core of our faith if we don understand and continue to remember who he is in our life we start to forget and we start to fall back on our tendency to sin or to walk away from him and find ourselves in places we don't want to be. But when I constantly remember, okay, God is my provider. That means I don't have to worry about my life. He's with me all the time. That means I don't have to worry about feeling alone. He's going to sustain me. I don't have to worry about running out of strength when I feel weak. You know, like he will be there. So that song for me is just a reminder that I wanted to record it because this is the vision. This is the vision of my life. It's the vision of my ministry. And I know that I can't relate to everybody in the world and all their circumstances and stories they're going through that are very different and harder than mine or whatever, you name it. But this is true for all of us, regardless of what our life story looks like. God is greater than the pain. He's with us through it all. And if we keep our eyes on that, then we'll be able to weather any storm we go through.
