good morning and good evening dear brothers and sisters greetings to you in the name of a lord and savior jesus christ and if you're a non-believer yeah we we greet you and we want to say a gentle hello to you all right so whichever part of the world you are right now um i think it's it's a what i say the technology is uh such a blessing sometimes you know most i mean majority of the world is misusing technology or abusing technology, you know, in the name of social media, in the name of Facebook, Twitters and YouTubes and whatnot. But there are a small bunch of people who make the best use of technology. And the power of technology is simply superb, simply awesome. And I love that. OK. And don't you think it's a it's a it's a great blessing that is instilled by God that he helps us to connect with each other remotely and as bible says that we are members of the same body right and the same body head of the body is our lord jesus and similarly the technology is a kind of a centralized system and that enables us to connect wherever we are and there is also a spiritual connection that we are united in the same spirit that we would want to hear this and, you know, come out of certain passive sins or some of the mistakes that we don't even realize it's a mistake unless we hit or unless and until we hit the iceberg. And there are two choices we have in the world, not just related to these passive sins. You can overcome a problem before the problem hits you or reaches you. or once a problem hits you, you realize, yeah, there is a problem. And then for some people, it may be already too late because the damage is going to be so bad, so severe, that you will take a lot of time to recover. You will take a lot of measures to come out of that damage and consequences. So I'm sure, you know, with a little bit of common sense, with a little bit of attention, you will all agree with me that the first option is the best one, right? So what can help us to embrace that first option and kind of realize that we have a problem versus simplicity and humility, right? You need to admit that we are no perfect human beings in this world because Bible says, none of the works that are going to emanate out of us or manifest out of our daily deeds are going to impress God. It's not going to take us to heaven. And similarly, Bible also says there is no goodness in the flesh of men that will necessarily impress God or take us somewhere close to the glory, right? There is only one instrument that can cleanse all of us. That's the blood of Jesus. And he and he alone deserves to take us to God. And that's what the biblical doctrine is all about, right? On the day he said it is finished. He said the sin is finished. The constraints are finished. Every kind of consequence is finished. And the veil torn into two pieces and it gave us the direct contact. It enabled the direct interaction. We can encounter with God anytime, anywhere. Right. And that's why God took the form of the father, took the form of spirit and the Holy Spirit is living inside of us. Yeah, if you are if you are very desperate to understand the concept of body, soul, mind, spirit and how Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit's workmanship with all these three aspects. Right. You may want to visit our channel where we have spoken about that the truth about the cross. And also we have created a separate playlist for you to understand what is this all about? The Holy Spirit's interaction with body, mind, soul, spirit. It really helps you because that is the first step where you start to analyze and realize what problems you have. Right. See, unless and until you have a physical problem or a health issue, you didn't know you would not necessarily go to the hospital. At least during this Corona situations, the first guideline given by almost all the embassy or all the government, whichever country you are in, do not visit hospitals or medical shops unless there is a need. Right. Because that's a place where all the patients tend to come. Similarly, that won't, you know, such a such a principle or such a guideline necessarily won't work when it comes to your spiritual walk with God or your cleansing process as far as your inward problems are concerned. And that's the reason we have started this series. And this is the first chapter in our third series. We have broken it into smaller particles based on your feedback. So I strongly recommend go through the passive sins first series, second series, and this is the third one we are doing in continuation. And where we discussed in detail how the sin founded in this world and how the atomic sin made us to fall. And from that time onwards, all the way till the thousand years of rule. And even after that also for some time, he's going to deceive again the whole world until the new moon, new earth is formed. That is that the sin is going to be at war with the with us. That's why Bible says flesh and spirit, they don't go well with each other. Why? Because the spirit is talking about the heavenly realm, which works in partnership with the Holy Spirit and it instills the good things. Whereas the flesh denotes the atomic sin, which is going to be lingering in our flesh. And we need grace each day to walk closer by the side of our father. And the only instrument that can get us closer to the side of the father is nothing but the blood of Jesus. And in his name, we can overcome. Yeah. The good news here is as much as the sin is going to be at war with the flesh, we also have a supporting point in the gospel that we can overcome. We can overcome. God has given us the spirit of love, power and sound mind and not the spirit of fear. Spirit of fear draws us backward, but the spirit of power and sound mind draws us forward and helps us to move ahead, march ahead. And that's exactly what we are trying to expose in these kind of series. Taking every single problem, every single parameter, every single nomenclature that is very much needed in today's world as you're walking back and forth. Right. You may have to go to the workplace. Some people are college students. Some people are even school students, teenagers. They just got into the teenage. And some people are older or quite old. And we are the elders of the family. And it fits to every single category. Why? These are all common nomenclatures. If you are a human being, you will have to go one and one and one or other of one or other of these parameters. but maybe all the parameters, right? So in life, we tend to do all of this. Okay, that's good enough for an introduction just to help you understand what we are trying to do in this kind of series. Okay, now today's session, I strongly recommend, please go through all of the sessions. Every single parameter is important, but today's session is very much focused and confined to a very interesting topic. and this topic is something that which I'm very confident every one of us would have gone through something called as emotional outburst. You understand what it is? It's nothing but losing your temper, losing your cool. Correct? Yeah, you can ask, oh, how about Lord Jesus? He also lost his cool couple of times, right? These guys came and irritated him. Can you imagine if Jesus losing his cool? how much of irritations he would have gone when i think of it i get a lot of laughter within me why because imagine if you were there in the in jesus situation of course he would have governed or commanded the guardian angels to come and chop off these guys yeah but look at the patience the long-suffering attitude of jesus and he himself will have to um you know lose his temper on i think majority of these things happen during the sabbath day where they were trying to finger point at jesus and saying hey how is that you can do all these things on a sabbath day right and jesus said sabbath day principle is completely different buddy but you have turned it to be a traditional thing that you will not even lift a stone etc but that's why he gives examples like if one of your donkey falls into the well will you call it something like ah it's okay let the donkey be dead no no immediately you will let down your rope and pull it up then don't you call that as a violation but I am healing a person whose sight is restored whose shriveling hand is restored whose decomposed hand is restored decayed hand is restored don't you want to praise God and appreciate what has happened on this wonderful day that the child of Abraham in the race of Abraham is restored back to normalcy instead of doing that why are you tying off with the traditional aspects and condemning How can you do such an act instead of appreciating God? And these were the moments which irritated him and he lost his cool, right? But he losing his cool, there was a reason behind. But we losing our cool also has a reason. But how do we handle such moments and what comes out of our mouth if we have to kind of encompass it and, you know, entitle it in one word? generally this world calls it as grumbling, grumbling, complaining or a bunch of grumblers or you are a grumbler, you are a complainer. See, it's a natural phenomenon that all of us, you know, one or other time, we have to go through this emotional outburst. If you're not having emotional outburst, I think brother, you need to check, check out your human system. You seriously have a problem. All of us will have to go through this emotional outburst, but how do we handle it and convert it into positivity? How can we avoid such grumbling aspects, such complaining aspects or such lamb blasting outcome? How can we come out of this session what we are going to predominantly look at? The point we are trying to make here is grumbling is definitely not healthy, but at the same time you hide it inside of you is also not healthy. That should be a balance definitely but that should be a mannerism in which you bring out your complaints and to whom you are complaining or against whom are you complaining. These are the two three questions I would like to lay right in front of you. Right. You complain against one another. It only causes rift. rift. It only causes a lot of, you know, you know, it causes a lot of reflects, you know, you see that it's coming back to you and it ends up in a kind of a war, a split, breakups and relationships and whatnot. Exactly. And yeah, there can be even bloodshed. Why? Because complaining is such a bad animal. It's a bad aspect. It cannot leave anything positive. It leaves behind absolutely negative negativity and the consequences are sometimes very it is real terrible it's it's really bad that the human mankind when they go back and conduct the root cause analysis they will be surprised to hear or see that you know what kind of damage it would have left behind right but what would be the root cause it's crumbling nothing else complaining right and And in a political world, in the social world, oh, there is so much of complaints. What do you think they tweet? What do you think they post in Facebook or most of the times? It's all about some negativity they would want to talk in the form of complaints. And it also becomes grumbling, right? What we are going to do in this session is, as usual, we follow the same pattern. We want to talk about the basics and the general concepts, the frequently asked questions, more from a practical standpoint. These are real practical sessions. If you're a non-believer, don't get biased that we are going to talk too much on spiritual. But of course, we want to tie off with the biblical principles. Without Bible, we don't conduct any session. Why? Because Bible has the record of the true events. And it's also a very practical book. It talks about how one can improvise their lives, right? and never ever tie off this with the religious kind of doctrine. We are not here to preach a religion. We are here to preach about Jesus. And Jesus came to this world to save us from sins, to redeem us from sins for every single human being. You understand? The human beings who were existing at that point of time, when he was there, well and alive, walking across the earth, and for every single soul, every single human being which were yet to be born. and Jesus never came to bring any kind of discriminations and introduce religions, etc. However, he said that I'm going to divide between the good and bad. The good will understand. My shepherd will, my flock will hear the voice of the shepherd, right? Of course, there is a division because even during his preaching times, people divided. Some accepted, some really didn't accept. And those who accepted, of course, their life turned out to be good. What else it can be? OK, we are going to tie off. But otherwise, just just pay attention and just see what best you can extract out of the session. OK, so what is the basic definition of grumbling? Grumbling, my Oxford Dictionary says the following. OK, my Oxford Dictionary says grumbling is nothing but a complain or a protest. You understand protesting your. I mean, you are conveying your protest in the form of voicing out something. Right. It comes in the form of a verbal verbal format. And that is nothing but which is called as you know grumbling you know But in the social world especially the news channels you will see the guy who reading the news itself is a big grumbler OK just pay attention and see what he doing exactly He's grumbling about various things. Is he talking about a solution? No, he's talking about the problems, complaints. This is not right. That is bad. This is negative. How can they do this? This is bad. How they can point fingers at them? And they run the show. And I think majority of you spend time and watching this news channel. Similarly, in the social media, am I saying it's wrong to do that? Actually, no, but we need to cut it somewhere and say that I need to stop here. And and exactly that's what I'm saying. Talking about a complaint about about a person or about a problem to another person. Will it bring any resolution? Actually, it may be right. But are you talking to the right people? Most of the time we don't. We don't. We talk about this politician and that politician. That guy doesn't even know whether you guys are discussing about him. What are you trying to achieve? Nothing but your BP bumps up to 200 by 120. I do not know. Right. But then always make God your friend. I do that. Or many of us might have the habit of doing this already. Right. Make God your friend. And that's where Bible recommends that you need to spend a lot of time in prayer. Right. And you you may be belonging to a nonbeliever community or belonging to different sect. You call it as meditation. Some people call it as yoga classes. Some people call it as something else. Right. But from the biblical doctrine, prayer is the best method. And always, you know, God welcomes grumblers. You may be shocked to hear this, but then God does not like ungrateful, ungrateful grumblers. You understand? That's why when people of Israel were brought to the wilderness, he started, you know, what to say? There were reactions from God which exposed his anger. Why? He would have just now provided them with manna. They asked for food. Then they would ask, is this why you got this out? we thought that we will get water but there is no water this is the way how you expose that's why the definition says right it's a protesting connotation which comes out of your mouth it's a protesting format which comes out and that's why complaining is really bad but then you can come you can complain in a passive mode with a lot of thanksgiving with a lot of appreciations with a lot of gratitude understand that's why god didn't like that right you could appreciate god you gave us food but we need water right and without water how do we survive father we believe in you that who read us led us through the red sea opening it and saving us from the army of uh what is the egyptian army and you are capable to do eternal miracle you see what a difference it makes but am i still raising my petition yes but am i complaining no you understand i'm just explaining the definition and the other definition is complain about something in a bad tempered way did i not tell you that i don't like this and how many times to tell you you know ailing at people uh with all what is the eyes eyes get red and turned red and face turns pink or if you're if you're if you're if you're fair but if you're if you're dark colored your face turns pale right and you can see the anger in the eyes and eyes communicate a lot right that is also not right and this is the definition of grumbling why am i saying not right we will discuss in a moment okay now in the interest of time we will have to move a little for forward little little little faster now what are the frequently asked questions now this is again a very social discussion but we are going to cut it off or they are going to tie it off with or connected with the biblical doctrines in a moment but if you are a human being regardless of any religion regardless of any caste community any country any culture you might have or you will have gone you would have gone through all of these frequently asked questions because this is coming as an outcome from the researchers, right? Researchers from Stanford, researchers from the psychological or the medicine field, because based on these researchers is when they start deciding on a treatment, right? When a person comes and says, I have this problem, they also touch upon these researchers. They do consider all of these. And that's why it's very important that we understand how many are you may think, am I the only one having this problem? Actually, the good news is you're not the only one because some topics are quite common. Some topics are quite, quite, quite generalized. And you and I will have you and I are human beings. We will have to go through this. And that gives us some more confidence. Oh, it's not not just me, but don't be so complacent. Oh, there are 20 other people who have this problem. There are 20 million people who have this problem. No, you don't be part of this 20 million. You can still be unique. You can still overcome. You can still be part of the solution, right? And not just be part of the problem. Okay, cool. First question, what is the difference between grumbling and complaining? I think we discussed this a little bit, but then. See, grumbling and complaining are tightly coupled. If you're a grumbler, you will naturally complain. but then it can be done in a kind of passive low voice and that's called as grumbling but complaining come comes out with a rumbling voice like a thunder that's why james and john were called the sons of thunder wherever they went no there is aggression in their voice once they said jesus just tell us we will command fire from heaven we will kill all these people imagine what jesus would have thought right are you guys really going to do some ministerial work for me or you're going to explode the cities and nations by exploding the bombs. Jesus literally got shaken and he turned around and said, do you know what spirit you possess? And, you know, that spirit in you, which comes out in an aggression format or aggression way, aggression manner, makes you complain and the rumbling voice you see. Of course, you have every right to express your feelings of pain, dissatisfaction, reasonments, disagreement, right? But as I told you, I gave an example just now, there is a mannerism, how you conduct yourself, how you present yourself. See, side by side, we are also talking about questions, problems and solution, right? Therefore, you can treat us like a kind of a psychotic session. Okay. But it's important, isn't it? You all agree with me, right? Talking only about the problem won't help. So we need to also give it a little bit of explanation and solution. Okay. This is my perspective. Of course, you will agree because all of us went through this. All of us will go through it. If you haven't yet, the bad news is you will go through it someday in your life if you're a teenager and if you're too young. But if you're an old person, you will completely agree with me. You would have gone through this kind of situations, right? Rumbling noise coming out of your mouth. Of course, situations will force you to talk this way. Next question. Does complaining make things worse or better? Nice question. So the while you might not experience any objective changes to your life or any kind of significant changes, your life complaining can make your subjective experience of life worse. You're you're you're subjective about a discussion or a problem. And at the same time, your objective is met. I want to complain. Done. But what is the subjective outcome? subjective outcome is worse you the relationship is broken the person is hurt or maybe some manhandling situations happen even to the extent of murdering you know it starts with a simple complaint and it you can see bloodshed happening you can see a mob gathering you can see violence yeah that that's exactly it can only make worse and not better is the simple answer and you might actually experience some objectively worse outcomes in your own life, right? Because complaining, what happens is it tends to decrease the likelihood of the positive actions or reactions. It only decreases. It doesn't add anything to pass positive. It's all about inducing the negativity force or force of negativity and creating all kind of rifts and reflex kind of situations rather what we should say or what we should agree is we need to stay out of these kind of situations. So let's move on in the interest of time. Somebody is asking or many people ask, brother, you say if we hide in everything inside of us, that itself will become another problem because you will become an introvert. See, introverts don't tend to talk. I know so many people in my family. Oh, my goodness. you open their mouth wide and try to put your hand and pull the words out of their mouth. No way. They will talk introverts. Probably they are brought up that way or they're fearful. They're shy. They're not used to some people. They go to the stage. They will be the chatterbox at home. But you put them on stage. Their knees will start knocking against each other. They'll blabber, mumble. Right. Such people. This question is, what's wrong with complaining? Right. is this very important thing it is actually not wrong to complain but as he said how you behave when you complain what kind of words comes out of your mouth how was your how was your facial reactions how is your body language right and what you're talking the words it matters now interesting research from stanford university has revealed the facts that complaining shrinks the hippocampus hippocampus is a medical word and you know what it is talking about an area in the brain there is a area there are a lot of areas in the brain you know what i am not great at medical science the only thing that i remember is cerebrum cerebrum if you ask me cerebrum cerebrum is on the right or left i don't even know that but it is there somewhere in your head okay now if you're a medical student we discussed about another area of the brain in one of our sessions If you ask me now, I forget because it's in my it was in my notes and I forgot. And you may want to rewind the tape. Likewise, there is something called a hippocampus. Hippocampus is the area of the brain. What it does is its function is it's very critical to problem solving and intellectual thoughts. Intellectual thoughts also gets originated there. Reasoning skills gets originated there. Problem solving techniques, right? The techniques also are tactically you want to solve a problem. this area is the one which will react the most it seems now why are you talking about this brother i have a point to make here you are a complainer if you are a grumbler what will happen you know you are causing damage to the hippocampus hippocampus area and that means what you know day by day your problem problem solving skills and intellectual skills will start decreasing The guy who was scoring top in his university or in the college or at his workplace, he was the top performer. Gradually, when he gets into the habit of habit of complaining, gradually and progressively, you will see that his his performance is dropping. He is going to become second rank and probably he will be the last guy. It happens in your family also. Why you will be you will be kind of ignored. You will be singled. People will be scared to even talk to you. Right. Which means what? You are a bad performer in your own family. If you are a good performer, what will happen? People will throng on you. When Jesus walked around, what happened? From the little children to the eldest, they would come and throng on him. Thronging means what? You know, one climbing on his back, one kissing him, one hugging him, one greeting him with a lot of smile. Nobody would hate, but there were a lot of enemies to Jesus who didn't understand what he was trying to convey. They became enemies because they took it as an offense, right? They connected it with traditions and with wrong doctrines they took it as an offense but majority who understood they treated jesus this way and this is a you will also be welcomed wherever you go and you are not going to be a complainer right naturally you will not be a complainer so what happens is this portion of the brain will stop functioning in the way it has to can you imagine are you with me it's not a very complicated science I'm talking about. It's a very simple thing. I'm saying you are getting indulged in the habit of complaining. You will see that you are declining in your performance as far as the worldly aspects are concerned. Don't you think worldly aspect is also important? God created us to live in this world, not to live in some Mars or Jupiter or Himalayas, right? You need to gel with people. You should be a people's person. That's what Bible is preaching. But I think in today's Christendom, it's totally misunderstood. If you're a spiritual person, brother, please alienate. Of course, it is important. Alienate yourself from all the habits, evil habits, evil people, evil companionship corrupts your habits. Agreed. 100%. Okay. But there is also something that you need to understand from the life of Paul. To a Roman, I'm a Roman. Romans are not believers. To a Greek, I'm a Greek. What he means is he doesn't look at them at the first sight or first shot as enemies. he likes to gel convey the gospel help them understand and drag them away from passive sins like this and help them right in the process of doing that if you realize no they are instead dragging you on their side then better get rid of them nothing wrong but here what we are trying to convey here is that will start uh kind of pulling you back backward so watch out watch out There is a medical impact. There is a physical impact, not just a psychological impact. Next question. I hope you're with me so far. What happens? See, you always have a convenience in the comment section. You can post many questions that you want. I will try to address that whenever possible. But don't stop yourself. Or you may want to disagree with me. You're welcome, brothers. We are living. We are no perfect human beings. There could be certain disagreements within you. But feel free to convey that. and I will see what to do We can have a conversation Now the next question is what happens to your brain when you complain every day Again a medical aspect right One aspect we spoke you know what happens on the other side, you will be really shocked. I'll tell you, oh, brother, I don't know these days I'm really getting sick. I don't know. The allergy is just not leaving my body. I somehow feel, you know, something is wrong. Nothing is wrong. These some medical doctors, I'm I'm little disappointed. Why? Because they don't connect it with the social life, social activities. They are in a rush to address a patient. You can you need to take little time and explain from the social aspect. I will explain what I'm trying to do here. Right. The person comes with a problem or with a sickness. You need to understand the lifestyle of a person. What is he getting involved? What is he indulged into every day? Right. If the person is belonging to this complaining or grumbling community, what happens is the body releases a stress hormone. It is called as cortisol. I think many of us know this, right? When you don't sleep properly in the night, a hormone which is supposed to be released out of your body, melatonin or something like that, which is important to make your liver function and get the toxics out of your body, it will not function at all. If you're a night bird who's not ready to sleep properly, you will have this problem, likewise. and you will end up in so many immunity issues that is also going to cause you immunity issues but this is a different immunity issue this cortisol and there are specific tests to understand whether this hormone is really getting released in your body see that hormone will be will have to be released for your good or well-being this hormone is not supposed to be released if it is released from your body in your body immunity will go down and that's where you end up with even dreadful diseases like cancers. Can you believe you are killing? It's self suicidal brothers. Nobody understands. Okay. All the extra cortisol that is released by the frequent complaining or complaining impairs, we call it as right. It are complaining. What happens is it impairs your immune system, which means it's, it's harming your impure immune system and makes you more susceptible to high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, can you see some kids are so then you can under you can ask me why are you i mean is this applicable only to teenagers or children children also right some children are encouraged or maybe they watch the elders right all the elders in the house what they do is complaining grumbling what would the little child do it will also start grumbling and complaining naturally you will see obesity in the child and if you analyze the root cause interestingly the stress hormone would have played a role change your habit and see brothers you will be out of all your disease and sickness i'll tell you this i i have experienced this in my life okay it even makes the brain more vulnerable to strokes the brain stroke have you understand seen one of my friend one of my very close friend her she lost her husband while he was driving he had brain stroke and i'm not trying to say that he was a complainer but i don't know about his lifestyle either right but if you are hearing such cases could be it is general genetical or stress related or importantly it is related to the complaining attitude the grumbling attitude you really want to complain i think this itself is a good in this itself is good enough for a passage to get you out of the complaining mold right i'm not threatening you i'm talking about facts okay now does complaining relieve stress i mean is it going to give you some sort of relief from stress if i don't complain then i'm feeling very very stressed some people really also put these kind of questions they position these kind of questions and they're asking for help because i'm going through this it's real see honesty is very much needed right when we discuss about problems uh a person god healed or lord jesus healed and he was saying of his blindness and he was saying jesus asked were you able to see everyone he says all the men are looking like trees since that guy was honest jesus was able to rework upon that why jesus did not heal him at the first sight is he wants to test that honesty factor and then again jesus touched his eyes and the eyes sight was restored likewise you got to be honest sometimes or all times at least to god if not to people you need not be super honest to human being many times where christians especially make mistakes as bible says in proverbs right do not be too honest to be a fool sometimes you need to be little little clever little tactical you need not be open but to god do not you know portray all your cleverness and shrewdness and to a shrewd i am shrewd i will teach them a good lesson bible says god says that to god be humble simple honest pour your heart saying daddy this is my problem sorry i cannot hide anything from you good or bad i'm leaving it to you but help me save me what did peter exclaim when he was when he started drowning the guy started walking so beautifully on this on the on the on the river or on the sea right um moment he saw the rumbling noise of the waves he got scared and he started going down you know what he said jesus save me i think this is exactly what we need to say when we have a problem okay does complaining relieve stress or not clearly complaining has some benefits it can be a way to relieve stress there is no two ways about it but then again i mean that mannerism you need to also think about the other person right you are pouring our garbage on that person's ears and heart you need to also think of the consequences else what kind of human being you are you aren't a human being imagine the other person reacts similarly on you next one week you're not going to sleep there are many nights i didn't sleep why because of the of the harsh languages that I heard that I happened to hear in my corporate world, in my professional life. Right. It impacts every one of us. No one can say, you know what, I'm as strong as I am. No, you have really a problem. I'm saying you are not a normal person. You are abnormal. Go and check your system with some psychiatrist or some doctors or take some blood tests and find out. OK, but excessive complaining about the problems, big or small, regardless of big or small or the threshold isn't an effective solution, right? Cut out complaining part. And then you're much more likely to see the world with a lot of optimistic, in an optimistic angle and with a lot of gratitude. That's what, see, you need to also consider the good things before you talk about the bad things, correct? Let it come to our nation, a party is ruling our nation. perhaps they would have done some good things also right consider that and then naturally your complaining attitude mellows down your voice mellows down you it gets on the lower side and then the person who listens to that also will feel something in his heart i need to do something to safeguard my reputation credibility why because you appreciated him start with the note of appreciation okay therefore complaining relieve your stress yet it does but it depends how you present you present with the rumbling noise it doesn't relieve it only adds your stress sorry that i don't say that i'm happy that i poured everything out on that guy's ears no no you poured out but then that the way how you presented you don't even know there is a internal hormone that is getting released and the damage is passively started to work you're with me i hope so okay cool uh the last question we have i mean i'm just talking again And we are talking about some of the frequently asked questions or the problems that the world go through. And we want to talk about this. I'm already seeing that we may want to split this session into two different halves because I don't want to rush. And this is such an important topic, beloved. I'm telling you, if you don't understand these concepts properly, then I think we do have a problem in life. And even in our human system. what does the Bible talk about grumbling and complaining? I think this is a question from most of the Christian folks. What does the Bible talk? I will give you a wonderful word, right? Philippians chapter 2 verses 1 to 18. But then in specific, if you see Philippians chapter 2 is a beautiful verse which talks about the humility which Jesus exercised when he walked on this earth. All right. How he looked at the human system or the human reactions and how he handled things. And he sets himself as a role model. And in that verse 14 says, do all things without grumbling or disputing. This is a kind of commandment, you can say, New Testament commandment, right? If you pull out this verse alone, it tells our children what is expected of them. It tells of elders what is expected of them. It tells about the teenagers what is expected of them. You can connect this with any age group. it you can connect with any tribe any gender it is all the it is all going to convey one single meaning that do all things there is no discrimination gee i did 10 things i grumbled only for two things for the remaining eight tasks which i did i never spoke a word don't you appreciate yes well done super majority wins so eight is bigger than two or gate is greater than to done good job but what it takes for you to make it 10 out of 10 right bible says in matthew 5 48 that as how i am perfect father in heaven says this very personal letter or a very personal saying you can also be perfect just like me okay and it's no big deal i think you can definitely take it to the closer to perfection and bible believes that father in heaven believes in you Why are you not believing upon yourself? That's a sad truth, right? Okay. So, but the surrounding context, you know, gives everyone the motivation not to grumble or complain. But the inner context, that is what is running inside of us, right? The passive reactions, except God, nobody can understand or find out the real you or the real truth, what is in you. And the other person, you know, who can understand or find out, it is nothing but you and yourself. So two people can understand about you. One is God and the second person is you and yourself. Based on that, you can connect this verse and you can do all things, all things. Bible believes, which means it is possible, quite possible, right? When Bible says something, it is quite possible that you can do all things without grumbling, without murmuring, without finger pointing, without saying, hey, this is bad. That is right. And all that, you know, without judge. See, people are so judgmental, right? judging others, I think they literally fall into this category of the grumbling and complaining. OK, good, good, good. So far, so good. So now I'm going to take you through some of the salient features which Bible prescribes or recommends. And this is where we will be cutting through a lot of or getting into a lot of biblical explanations. And then we do have a beautiful case study put in from Bible and especially we are going to talk from Exodus where and the numbers where people majority of the Israeli complaints, Israeli folks complaints, you can see in these two books. So we handpicked some of the important nomenclatures and then or features we have and sorry in situations and then we are going to present and then we are going to talk about a little more principles learned and the moral of the story, etc. And we conclude it and which we will do it in the next session. I don't think we will be able to finish it in this session. What we will do is we will take the next five to ten minutes and we will see how much we can cover the, what I say, the salient features or the aspect in which God looks at this complaining. Can you see, put God as a judge. When a situation comes, when you are at war with someone, put God in between that person and yourself and then you will know or you will understand God's perspective, how he will be judging this situation. That will really help you brothers. It helped me. It would have helped most of you. Right? Okay. Now let's get into this. See most of this biblical and righteous complaints are contained in what we call it as Psalms. Psalms is nothing but lamentation. Right? In Tamil we can call it as Polambalgalna one book. But Sangeetatthi you are adding to the situation. Over situation in one David one the Romba Polambi irupar. Romba one the Mana on the other way. Okay. As for people who are it just came out you know in tamil it comes beautifully so i didn't want to stop myself in english what i'm trying to say here is there is a book called as lamentations which is all about you know a lot of a lot of grumbling passively passively and with a lot of gratefulness thankfulness to god but if you look at psalm every single psalm is connected to a situation i keep saying this in almost all my messages every single situation is to deal with a problem and naturally you know the psalmist talks about the solution how god would have redeemed him and stuff like that and that is nice to read in that context in that perspective and not just to read it as a poetry many people think it's like a poetry he describes about god and all that it is not some kabir da's poetry or some shakespeare story no this is about a situation how we changed it to a kind of a song or a hymn or a you know praises and worship it's amazing right it's amazing it's not about talent it's about his heart that's why god loved david so much that he's my servant he doesn't turn to the left or to the right but always he does things in the most rightful way why because he has understood who i am he understood how to execute this concept of grumbling complaining in a very positive way. If you look at the intent of or the content of the Psalms, it's nothing but complain. It's nothing but grumbling. But the way how David, the Psalmist would have expressed amazing. And trust me, not all 150 Psalms were written by Mr. David. But then there were many from the Psalms of Korah, Asaph and other folks, right? And like Psalm 46, Psalm 73, wonderful Psalms And Psalm 90 was written by our prophet Moses Okay And all these guys were trying to express the struggles that they went to hardships they went through but with a lot of gratitude. That's why Psalms became a kind of a worship. Can you believe your complaint also can be a form of worship? It can, it will not be a rumbling noise in the ears of God, but it will be like music in the ears of God. Yes, he he tuned music. A lot of worship songs are derived from Psalms. And this guy used to lie on the rock. And, you know, with the help of his harp, he used to and flute, he used to, you know, worship God in the in through the Psalms. But when you record, when you go through the situation in which he was playing that you will be shocked, either he would have been running for life i i strongly recommend you to go through one of the serious sessions we have done on the form jesus took form of slavery where we had spoken about david and what kind of lifestyle he had gone through until he was anointed by samuel you will be shocked you will be shocked what all harassments the guy went through in his life right um in such situations he wrote psalms what we would have done in in this situation actually no idea right i would have definitely complained a lot i wouldn't have write a road to a worship song right i'm a mere human being i agree with all humility i can say this about one third of the psalms are nothing but lamentations and there is a survey on that also being conducted and they are the precious gifts from god given to us as a gift how we can still talk optimistically in the situations that are completely against us. Okay, good. Now, let me, if you're a believer, if you're a Christian, please have your Bibles next to you. And if you're at home, if you're driving, it's okay, just listen to me. If you're in the middle of something, kitchen work, ladies, if you're sisters who are in kitchen work, don't worry, you're good. I'm going to read it for you. But if you're definitely not in some work, please turn it out with me. I'm not going to read too many verses i'm going to read some quotes see um there are certain psalms where um he spoke about a lot of sorrow he had gone through um and sorrow in this in that in terms of you know it covers various emotional nomenclatures emotional parameters some psalms are talking about anger right uh psalm 140 if you take and read some if you turn your bibles with me to psalm 140 I'm adjusting my stand. Psalm 140. I'm just giving you one example and then we will not get into the details. This becomes kind of a series because Bible is detailed. And so I would not like to rush. He speaks for deliverance from the evil men. This was again written in a situation where he was surrounded by the army of Saul and he was praying for salvation. Similarly, Psalm 69, it's about fear. And that's what we covered in that other session, which I was telling you. And that talks about the harassments that he went through. And every day he would step into his house with fear, step outside of his house with fear every day. Can you believe you want to start your day with fear and end with fear? and also in between the day, all through the day, you live in fear. How do you feel? David went through that situation and it is explained in Psalm, right? But when you read those Psalms, you will be amazed how the guy conveys the message. Psalm 140 and chapter verse 12, he explains all, he grumbles, oh, this violent men have surrounded me. They mark my footsteps and they are making me to stumble, gimbal and all that. But finally, at the end of the verse, I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted like me and justice for the poor will come out of his mouth. Surely the righteous shall give thanks to your name. The upright shall dwell in your presence. Look at the confidence. Why? Because he is having that gratitude. He has seen how God delivered him in such situations during the past. And that's why it's important not to be ungrateful. It's important that you are having that gratitude to appreciate people. All right. So it's not easy. It's definitely not easy. Now, in the interest of time, I want to move to Psalm 74. Right. And these are the kind of the salient features, how God would expect what God would really expect you to speak or react. And that's why we are setting certain examples. Right. So again, prayer, prayer of relief from oppressors. This is another Psalm written by Asif. Here it's not David who wrote this. Asif, I told you, right, is one of the sons of Korah. And where he is talking about this, the enemies again and how, you know, foolish people get into the habit of blaspheming God and, you know, saying God is not good. And then he ends with the very nice prayer. Right. 7421 Psalm 7421. Oh, do not let the oppressed return ashamed. Oh, Lord, let the poor and needy praise your name. Arise, O God, plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man reproaches you daily. do not forget the voice of your enemies the tumult of those who rise up against you increases continually see this is world testament he's talking about certain bunch of people and new testament is different ephesians chapter 6 verse 12 our fight is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities and powers of darkness so our fight is with the heavenlies and the evil spirits you can make the same prayer but do not have some name in your mind do not have some image in your mind then definitely you're sinning i'm also telling you this right it can be a lamentation it can be a prayer for victory but you need to see and understand who's operating that person it's a definitely a demonic bunch of demonic spirits that are standing behind they are by god's grace in the process of preparing a series on the evil manifestation and evil spirits and in that we were we are planning to cover all of this but then if you're very interested to know how the soul spirit and all this works in harmony you may want to again go through the truth about the cross series in that one of the sessions or couple of sessions we have explained uh how this works when we spoke about holy when we spoke about um the holy spirit how he works right we spoke to we spoke through that okay let's move let's move on um not only with psalms you turn with me to James chapter 5 James chapter 5 verse 11 will you please turn with me I'm also doing the same James is after Hebrews Hebrews is one of the big books in New Testament 5 11 says the following indeed we count them blessed who endure who have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful in the book of Job three-fourth of the book is all about complaints murmurs lamentation yes job that's why god was little upset with job that you took too much upon yourself and you grumbled beyond the limits what was the need for you to talk this much man you know definitely who i am you had the confidence but why are you converting into grumbling yet god appreciated him for what he went through and you know god considered even today also job is the first book in bible do you know that It was the first book. And Job is the classic example. He remains like that forever. No one can reach a standard. It's really tough. And that person, he appreciates God. At the end, he says that, you know, I was blabbering in my lips. in Tamil it comes even better right in English it is like you know I was mumbling blabbering and all that he admits that after God speaks God gives a speech in the chapter 39 40 and 41 42 if I am not wrong and after hearing that he says oh I want to be tight lipped we can do that in the initial stage also right so we took that example also and in Psalm 142 in the cave of Adulam, what happens is he gets stuck in the cave and he doesn't know what to do after that. And there he writes a beautiful psalm. I want to read some. See, what we are trying to do here is we are trying to derive certain classical examples from classical people in Bible. Right. These were true men of God. Never assume the situation was all good in favor of them. It was absolutely against them. And they they want to come out of it, but they couldn't. I pour out my complaint before him. I declare before him my trouble. You see here, you have every right to complain to your God. You have every right to even grumble before your God. But then how do you present? I keep saying this for the 10th time now. How do you present? What is your mannerism? Do you appreciate God for what he had done in the past? Do you speak the right things of God with gratitude, with gratefulness, with thanksgiving? Then yes, your prayers are honored. else it is definitely not honored god is angry he did demonstrate and we are going to talk through that how we became angry what were the situations that triggered god's anger can you believe god is known for everlasting mercies compassionate father slow to anger take and read some uh 145 verses 8 and 9 you will understand slow to anger if if god as a person is getting angry you can imagine what irritations we would have instilled in him right and the same uh psalm look at verse number four look on my right hand and see for there is no one who acknowledges me he's saying i'm deserted i'm all alone everybody hates me refuge has failed me no one cares for my soul see this is again what is what is trying to do he's complaining complaining on people complaining on enemies complaining on everyone but then you see how he ends the psalm again right attend to my cry O Lord for I am brought very low deliver me from my persecutors for they are stronger than I I am weak he is presenting himself as a weak person I am helpless you think it's a complaint yes it is you think God has accepted yes he does but you see his presentation skills right there is a mannerism and when you start talking to God this way naturally you will talk to human beings also in a very humble way in a very pleasing way understand okay then bring my soul out of prison that i may praise your name the righteous shall surround me for you deal bountifully with me he's making a prayer towards the end okay second peter chapter one verse four we are we are rushing through uh case studies in the interest of time second peter chapter one verse four um here um by which have been given to us exceed exceedingly great and precious promises that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust see here what he's trying to say is flesh is always aggressive flesh is always bad but then you have taken a divine nature from the corruption right out of corruption you have taken the divine nature if you are of that sort you will no longer feel the affliction as an affliction you will no longer feel the suffering as a suffering, you will appreciate God. Why? Through your suffering, he is going to bring you out of that suffering in style. He is going to heal you in style. He is going to raise you as a testimony. He is going to ensure that you become his mouthpiece. You become his finger. Instrumental in God's hand, leaving behind a wonderful testimony for God. This is how you will, your divine nature will start functioning. Your complaints will never be a complaint anymore. It will become a psalm. Don't you want to be like that, my brother, my sister? I really want to be like that. I press hard every day asking God. And the Psalms, every Psalm is like a treasure. And they give a lot of inspiration to troubled souls, I would say. Yeah, I get a lot of inspirations. And I would recommend every single day, read the Psalm from a different perspective, not as a poetry. That's why we are setting examples for you. And they themselves are expressions of God's merciful care towards us. because in them we see that we are not all alone to fight it but god is our host god is our host and god is our captain he leads us from the friend right and if we have years to hear bible says jesus tells us many times if you have years to hear here means which year your heart he's talking about okay one last thing i will tell you john 16 33 john 16 33 is one of my favorite it was it's talking about how jesus uh gives a prescription to overcome right and many people kind of overlook or ignore but actually that's the catch that's the catch when you when you when you get into troublesome moments or situations how you can overcome jesus gives a prescription um sorry i turned to the book of luke 1633 come on quick okay these things i have spoken to you that in me you have my peace you have you may have peace in the world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer i have overcome the world he's saying be cheerful in every situation you want to complain complain but do it cheerfully with a confidence that jesus is going to help you god is going to hear you right okay beloved i think time to stop here because i think just to give you a summary we spoke about the basics we spoke about the impact on on the human life we We spoke about certain illustrations and certain examples from the Bible. We definitely cut through the Bible also. We referenced Bible and we spoke about the certain admonishing things or advices that are given how we can come out of it. Now, I would like to break this session and I would meet with you shortly in the continuation of the session and where we will be doing a few more interesting case studies from Bible. Please don't stop with this. please make efforts to listen to the extended version therefore you get a comprehensive idea end to end right taking one tablet and ignoring the other tablet what will happen you will end up with more side effects not only it not not just it won't heal but then it will create more side effects why because that tablet this tablet goes hand in hand both the chemicals will work together as a composition and it will heal you similarly you please treat this message also that way okay that was a joke so no condemnation but please make every sincere effort to listen to the next message and we will talk about some of the principles learned and morals and then we conclude okay god bless you stay tuned to the next half
