I'm going to read the words from Genesis chapter 4 and verse 8. If you have Bibles, please turn with me. Genesis 4, 8. Now Cain talked with Abel, his brother, and it came to pass when they were in the field that Cain rose against Abel, his brother, and killed him. Then the Lord said to Cain, where is Abel, your brother? And he said, I do not know. I am a brother's keeper. Then verse number 10. And he said, what have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground. Very, very important chapter. I am going to reference few verses also from the New Testament. And therefore, we will be able to understand this better. But then, before that, I want to give you a little bit of background. We all know this Cain and Abel story. God accepts Cain's sacrifice and God, sorry, Abel's sacrifice and God rejects Cain's sacrifice. The reason was the attitude. He is expecting some correction from Cain's attitude. Cain did not give the best of his fruits, but then Abel did give the best of the firstlings of the sheep to God. And God accepts that. Why? Because at the end of the day, God looks at a human heart, right? What is the condition of your spirit? What is the condition of your soul? What is the thought process that is in your heart? Is it mixed with a little bit of miserly? It's a little bit of jealous, little bit of envy. And here and there, you slip away. There are a variety of sins that we can see from 2 Timothy 3 verses 1-9, Galatians 5, 17-21, Colossians 3, 5-9, Mark 7, 21-23, 1 Corinthians 6, 9-10. These are the variety of sins. If anything is inside of you, actually God cannot accept the sacrifice. Because why? He is the holy of the holies and his eyes are eyes of purity. Zachariah 4.10 says that. And this is the reason why God rejects the sacrifice of Cain and he accepts the sacrifice of Abel because Abel's attitude was right. He gave the best to the Lord. Some of us, right? I'm not saying you should take whatever best you have and give it to others. But then when you get some best things from God, at least you can give the second best. That's where your attitude is put to test. and some people I've seen they will give all torn clothes to orphanage and all that no please all old clothes you please throw it into garbage nobody deserves to wear it all are human beings all are children of God you shouldn't be having that attitude God will never accept your offering God will never be supportive when you come in supplications and make your when you make your request known to God he's going to reject why because there is a problem in your attitude right and how is that you are partially treating people you must love your neighbor as much as you love yourself is the commandment Actually Matthew 22 37 says that Therefore if you are a child of God you will remember that all are children of God okay that not what I want to talk here we will straight away dive into the topic of blood blood as life now all of you must know this definitely don't think whenever I'm murdering somebody whenever I'm killing somebody whenever there is the bloodshed because of me that's when I'm sinning not necessarily that's old covenant new covenant standards I will tell you when you are not forgiving your brother when you are slandering and sledging that's why i gave the list of sinful deeds in references from the new covenant okay when you are slandering or sledging secretly gossiping about someone and complaining murmuring against god secretly in your heart that is equivalent to the bloodshed yeah that's new covenant jesus said that i came to accomplish i did not come to abolish i came to fulfill the old covenant standards old covenant law And I've come here to introduce new covenant standards and laws. That's why old covenant has 613 commandments and laws only. But new covenant has got, although only 27 books, which is 40% of old testament, sorry, 40% of the entire Bible, you will see in this 27 books we can find 1050, 1050 laws and commandments. Okay. And that's what I want you to take a note, right? It's not easy to be walking in the discipleship of Christ, but it's not impossible. I keep telling this. The mission is not impossible. Mission is possible, but it's not easy, right? It's not like you, many preachers, they make this fancy preaching. Oh, accept Jesus, jump into the water baptism tank and that's it. All problems gone. You are straight away going into heaven. No, it will never happen. Take note of this, right? That's become like a joke these days. No, don't treat my Jesus like a joker. I'm telling this. I'm warning you. As your brother, I'm warning you. All right. Now, here, if you look at this attitude of Cain was definitely against God and he did not learn from his mistakes. Right. And he is making mistake after mistake. That's a problem with many believers in Christ. That is where you need to stop. When something is wrong in your life, when something is not right, when something is troubling you, when something is against what you have imagined, what you had thought, when your life is kind of, you know, taking you in a crooked pathway, stop there. If you want, take off. Spend whole day in the presence of God and wait in his presence and ask God to tell you clearly the Holy Spirit will reveal from your heart. He will tell you clearly these were the reasons why God had made a decision to take you through the path of chastisement. Therefore, he can bring that correction. Cain didn't have these kind of teachings and doctrines and the fellow makes mistakes after mistakes thinking that I have the authority to deal and to do anything that I want. He did not learn from his father and mother. Adam and Eve also did the same mistake. They ultimately ended up doing this, you know, disobedience, law of disobedience. They tightly embraced it. Therefore, they ended up, you know, being sinners, separated from the law of God. Now, the blood which was shut down is what I'm trying to tell you. The old covenant only if you murder a person or stab a person or push a person down if he's hurt and the blood drop falls down is when you are counted as a you are charged with murder and the blood will really really scream to God. Blood is life. But in the new covenant standards if you are hurting a brother, if you are speaking some unnecessary words, if you're shouting at somebody, if you're scolding somebody, if you're doing this, if you're doing that, I gave you the list of things. It is equivalent to murder and Bible also equates you gossipers are equivalent to murderers in the list itself it's given right you cannot go there and say in the white throne judgment I never murdered and all that no I know I was not an idol turn no you were a gossiper you are equivalent to that person therefore you take a note of this that's a principle number one second thing is I want to read it from the book of Acts chapter 7 and verse number 16 then the then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice and Claude do not chastise them with this sin and when he had said this he fell asleep this is about Stephen I don't have time to read the entire paraphrase scripture or you can take and read Acts 7 completely Saul who became later Paul approves his death and this guy's blood is also being shed down there people are stoning him big big stones they're stoning him one stone hits here one stone hits on the eyes one stone hits on the neck and here and there and the blood is oozing and minutes before he was dead and gone Stephen makes a very powerful statement and he has he has forgotten that actually then Holy Spirit reminds him make this statement only then you have fulfilled the discipleship in Christ immediately he pulls up all the energy about to die Pulls up all the energy and he makes a powerful statement I forgive them Because why? Holy Spirit reminds him from the scriptures. John 14, 26. Holy Spirit's job is to remind us. Bring it to remembrance all the teachings of Jesus. Then he brings it to his remembrance. Hey, you know what Jesus said minutes ago before he was dead. Forgive them, Father, for they do not know what they are sinning. What they are doing against the Son of God. Like that you need to pray. Now you see this guy's blood also was shed. And Abel's blood also was shed. Can we see what Abel's blood is claiming to God for the last 6000 years? I will read from the book of Revelation chapter 6. And slowly I will come to the point. I will close on time. 2-3 minutes only. I will close on time. Don't be impatient. I am your brother. So be patient with me. Revelation 6 and verse number 10. And they cried with a loud voice saying. how long, O Lord, holy and true, until you judge, avenge our blood, avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth. Right? I'm not going to read any more scriptures. You know, what is this avenging? Avenging is absolutely a old covenant standard. It's called as making somebody pay the ransom, the price, right? Eye for eye, teeth for tooth. That is old covenant. Somebody breaks your teeth, you take a stone, You aim at the same teeth and you have to break it. It's called as avenging. Somebody had done something and it injured your eyes, you lost your eyes. You also need to take something and you need to really damage their eyes. That is old covenant. Old covenant is all about avenging, revenging, defense, offense, waiting for the chance and pouncing on that person. This is nothing to do with the new covenant. That's why I gave an example from Stephen's life. New covenant is all about forgiving your brother. Ephesians chapter 4 verses 2 and 32 Matthew chapter 6 verse 14 1 John chapter 4 verse 20 Colossians chapter 4 verse 6 Colossians chapter 3 verse 2 all these things if you take and read you thought I'm going to read it for you there is no time you people are not having patience what to do that's why I'm doing short sessions I was just kidding don't don't take it don't get sensitized some people don't have time but I agree I'm not against them right I'm not offended no problem so i'm giving you this homework take and read you will understand what is all about forgiveness and philippians chapter 2 full full chapter you read christ walked with humility christ-like mindset is called as lowliness in mind when a brother commits a sin against you when he does something against you you are not supposed to judge him why because we all have fallen short of glory and i will tell you the prayer which our lord jesus taught us was something like this. Lord, forgive our sins as we, now everybody understands, as we forgive other sins. If you don't forgive other sins, may it be bloodshed also. Yeah, somebody hurt them. Somebody hurt us. He could be an unbeliever. He could be a believer. He hurt you so badly. He made you to shed your blood. You have no power to avenge that brother. The verse that I read from Revelation 6 is actually talking about the blood of the old covenant people. And the first person in that list was Abel. Abel's blood is crying out to God even until this day. After 6000 years also, it's crying out to God. Where is the judgment against Gain who killed me? I was supposed to get married. I was supposed to beget kids like him. I was supposed to live long. I was supposed to do ministry for you. I was supposed to do greater things for you. And what was my fault? Why was I killed? I disagree with this God. You need to avenge. But you are holy. You are true. Nothing wrong against you. I read from the word of God. You are holy and true. But likewise, your judgment also should be holy and true. I definitely demand justice. We want justice. You know, right? People walk on the streets and they fight against the government when they are not happy with certain law or some rules that are being put. Correct, no? In US, some crazy people are saying we want justice. We don't want to wear masks. That's why people are dying like anything. There are some crazy people also do all this fighting against government. I'm not talking about them. I'm not talking about politics here. But when you talk to God, think once again, you are an old covenant person or a new covenant person. There is a big difference. Now I am talking about the last concept. You know, what is Jesus' blood doing? Jesus' blood also was shed. We spoke about Abel's blood. We spoke about Stephen's blood. We are now talking about Jesus' blood. Three things. Now Jesus' blood which was shed on the cross has fallen on earth too. And that blood each time you sin each time you get into some sinful deed and then you go and say in the name of Jesus please forgive me You know what The Jesus blood also talks and intercedes for you Our Jesus intercessor Hebrews 1 3 2 John chapter 2 sorry, 1 John chapter 2 verses 1 and 2, all those things. He's advocating for us. You know what is advocating for us? What is the strong instrument that advocates for us? Blood of Jesus. Blood of Jesus doesn't scream like the blood of Abel. Blood of Abel, avenge, avenge, I want, I want revenge on this guy. The day I see him dead like me, that's when I'm going to be happy. Abel makes that statement because he's old covenant guy. But Jesus bled, I want my brother to be forgiven. He called everyone brothers. He's our elder brother and we are all his younger brothers. Right? And Jesus, until this time, the blood intercedes for us. Right? And that's why Acts chapter 2 verse 38 tells that there is remission of sins. And Jesus himself became propitiation for our sins. Hebrews 2 verse 17 says, and when you baptize in the name of Jesus Christ and when you walk into the throne room of God in the name of Jesus, seeking for forgiveness, you are forgiven instantly. And many people call it as grace, which is right. But you know what is behind the grace? It is the blood of Jesus. That precious blood, drop which had fallen on the ground, is interceding for me day and night. It is not avenging. Actually, you know, Jesus' blood deserves trillion times much more than the blood of Abel, that innocent blood. Abel also was innocent. Stephen also was innocent. Right? More than Stephen's blood and why I picked Stephen is Stephen was the first martyr for Jesus and Abel was the first person who was murdered. Murdered versus murdered. That's why I picked these two examples and Jesus' blood is definitely there. Right? Now Jesus' blood every single day is interceding. Now what I'm trying to tell you is my beloved But brother, my beloved sister, next time you sin, meaning repeating the sin, falling into new sin, fine, but don't repeat it. Right. Repeating the sin is a sin. Right. But falling into the sin for the first time and ask God to forgive and ask God to be patient and compassionate. Our God is going to do that. But next time when you repeat the sin, right, willingly you sin, right, you are not able to control your temptations. Remember this. there is someone who had really shed his blood and he's not avenging he deserves to avenge he deserves to take revenge how dare this fellow is not able to understand me how much it cost on the cross how much of torture i had gone through how much you guys ill-treated me and yet i'm praying for god and you guys are ill-treating me time and again you're crucifying me time and again you're spitting on me when did i spit you were asking right virtually you're spitting you're thinking when you are sinning, it means nothing to Jesus. No, you are the one who is crucifying him. You have a hammer and a nail and you are crucifying him. Right? Each time you sin, it's like you are making him shed blood again and again and again. So remember that. You are, I'm not saying you are allowed or not allowed. It's your choice. God also tells the same. It's your decision. Boss, you want to sin, you sin. And please go to hell. Revelation 22, 11. Those that are unrighteous, unholy, filthy, let them be more filthy, unholy, unrighteous. And what? Go to hell. that's what it means but our God is very polite he doesn't want to say that all right so from today onwards please be walking be a child who walks in reverence and who honors the blood of Jesus and without the blood of Jesus there is no remission of sins without the blood of Jesus there is no grace without the blood of Jesus there is no salvation without the blood of Jesus there is no reconciliation with the Father in heaven below the blood of Jesus there is no way that you will be entering to paradise and from there all the way to to the city of God heaven. Blood of Jesus is the connecting instrument with everything. May we all honor the blood. And Hebrews 10, 29 says, one last thing I will tell. If you are sinning, repetitively sinning, you are insulting the Holy Spirit, you are insulting the blood covenant made with the mankind, importantly, you are trampling the Son of God right under your feet. Imagine this. Each time you repeat the sin now, you are trampling the Son of God right under your feet. Oh, I never thought like that. No, you never thought like that. But you are already doing it. That's why I'm bringing it to your remembrance. May God bless you. Subscribe to our channel. Please get access to all the playlists.
