Greetings Classic Cinnamon TV fans, this is Jason Lager, Pastor Jay here with you once again on another Flashback Friday and today we're taking a first look at some brand new releases from Kino Lorber for the month of December 2021. Let's jump right into this, this is going to be a fast video but just a quick first look. First we're looking at release number 17. This is from the great Alfred Hitchcock. Hitchcock is probably one of the greatest directors of all time, but this is one of his early releases from 1932. Kind of a comedy thriller. Before Hitchcock got into all the elaborate things this was more of the the kind of subdued kind of thing and it's all about an empty London house where all these people come in and they're all searching for a necklace and and just chaos ensues it kind of a unique little film and this thing is loaded with all kinds of cool bonus features It a 4K restoration which is pretty cool but there commentaries early years documentary of Hitchcock an interview, audio interview, which is pretty cool, trailers, all kinds of cool stuff on this. So if you're a fan of Hitchcock, number 17, you're going to want this on Blu-ray. We recently saw this about, well, I shouldn't say recently, probably about a couple years ago, I watched this for the first time. And when we saw that this was getting a Blu-ray release, oh, you know this was going to have to come to the studios here. This is The Brass Bottle. This stars Tony Randall, Burl Ives, and Barbara Eden. Barbara Eden, it's all about a genie played by Burl Ives. And this, of course, would spawn the TV series I Dream of Genie. and here the genie is Burl Ives and the guy that controls the genie is Tony Randall and Barbara Eden is his girlfriend so that's kind of interesting but she ended up being the genie in I Dream of Genie so that's a pretty cool release looking forward to check it out on Blu-ray this one is unbelievable three amazing actors and actresses in this one Marlon Brando David Niven and Shirley Jones This is bedtime stories Now, without spoiling a whole lot of this, David Niven and Marlon Brando play two scoundrels that try to play off of rich widows and rich ladies. And this film is the one that spawned the remake that many may know, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. So yeah, this is the original. So looking forward to that one. Awesome. Then finally, who doesn't love a little off-road racing flick, right? This is a pretty cool one. Checkered Flag or Crash. Wow. Some really great actors in this. Susan Sarandon is in this. Larry Hagman is in this. And Joe Don Baker. Now, many may not know Joe Dawn Baker, the name, but you may remember him from Walking Tall. But, yeah, this one I have never seen, so I'm really looking forward to check this one out. This is going to be totally awesome. I can just tell.
