Casey! Casey! Hello! Where is this girl? A few moments later Why is she ignoring me? Did I do something wrong? Oh, you're here. Yes, I've been here all along. If only you took your ears off your music and your eyes off your phone, you would have noticed me. That's so true. Hey guys I hope you like this small skit with a message and I hope you are able to relate with what I just shared Just like the same way I was wondering why isn Casey responding to me where was she But she was right there at the same time she was speaking but I just couldn't hear because I was so caught up with the noise around me, the music and I was so engrossed in the activity that is the phone and how much can you relate with this in terms of the fact that many times we say I don't know where God is in my life I don't know why he isn't showing up why I don't know why he's not talking to me but you got to remember this important truth you know the scripture says that our God is always with us he will never leave us nor forsake us he's always with us and the bible The Bible also says that my sheep will hear my voice. The Bible says that you know behold there a voice behind you telling you which way you need to go whether turn to the left or turn to the right Isaiah 30 21 And the Bible also says you know when you acknowledge God he will direct your steps In other words we serve a God who is a God who wants to speak to us and He is speaking So the problem is not that God is not speaking to us or God is not with us. God is with us and He is constantly communing with us and He is communicating with us. The problem is that we are caught up in our own web of noise, the environment where we just get engrossed with our own activities and our own life and everything that is getting our attention on every side. So if you feel that, oh my goodness, I don't feel God or I'm not able to hear God, I want you to introspect and see, are you taking time to do what I just did? put off my phone and switch off the music so that I could hear Casey and see that she was right there with me. And in a similar way how much you can see when you put off the noise around you and you put off you know your distracting factors or anything that you say as your commitment or your life and say God I want to just take this time to you know embrace the fact that I in your presence And I want to just hear your voice. And when you have that heart, I want you to know that God will definitely speak to you and you will know without a shadow of a doubt that he's with you and he will never leave you nor forsake you.
