We got away from it for just a little bit, but we're back and we're in, I believe, we're in just give me a minute here. I believe we're in 20. I believe we're in chapter 20. I could be wrong. no, I'm sorry, we're in 21. We're in 21. So we're going to go ahead and go into 21. And it says in verse 1, just have your Bibles, if you do have your Bibles, please turn to chapter 21, verse 1. It says, The king shall joy in the strength of O Lord and in thy salvation, how greatly shall he rejoice. Thou hast given him his heart's desire and hast not withholding the request of his lips. For thou preventest him with blessings of goodness. Thou sittest a crown of pure gold on his head He asked life of thee And thou gavest it him Even the length of his days Forever and ever His glory is great in thy salvation Honor and majesty Hast thou laid up upon him For thou hast made him most blessed forever thou hast made him exceedingly glad with his countenance For the king trusteth in the Lord and thou the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved Thy hand shall find out all thine enemies. Thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee. Thou shalt make them as very oven in the time of thine anger The Lord shall wall them up in his wrath And the fire shall devour them Their fruit shall they'll destroy from the earth And their seed from among the children of men For they intend to do evil against thee. They imagine mythiless devices which they are not able to perform. Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back When they shall make ready thine arrows Upon thy strings against the face of them Be thou exalted, Lord In thine own strength shall we sing and praise thy power Now, we're going to give the theme of this today and that theme is praise God after victory in battle. When God answers your prayers for victory we should quickly open up openly thank Him for His help. So when we get through our battle during the day you know we struggle all the time as Christians even I do. you know and like I said sometimes I don't feel like even sharing but you know what I don't want the devil to make hey there's a win for me because you know what there's a lot of people out there that's struggling and it needs to hear God's word you know and I feel like preaching today a little bit you know and I think we need to stand up and say hey when people turn away from this this is God's word you know what then look look if you turn away from it That's your choice. That's your choice. God gave you a mind, right? God help us that we're not willing to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Bible. Man, get me started. Some of these churches don't want to preach it. That's the problem. So the Bible, here we see that we should be openly, openly thankful to God during these times. You know what? It's to read and thank God for his word. So let's get into this chapter 21 through 6. It says David described all that he had as gifts from God His heart desire the blessings of goodness And golden crown of life Honor and magic Eternal blessings Gladness. We too should look upon all. We have family. Talent. Possessions and gifts from God. Only then. We use. Will we. Use them. to give glory back to him and to help and bless others. You know, let's get like this, you know. God give us all this stuff, right? He gave us our families. He gave us all we have. Let's give it all back to God, people. You know what? Get down on your knees and thank God for all that you have. You know. 21.7 A good leader trusts the Lord and depends upon his unfailing love. Too often leaders trust in their own cleverness, popular support and power, but God above but God is above all these gods. if you aspire to leadership, keep the Lord God at the center of your policies, strategies, and planning. Then you will be known as a leader who is good and does what is right. And you will not be shaken when challenges come your way. and I believe that's exactly what David did he put God first in his planning I mean I know he had a lot of trials he had a lot of troubles but you know what I believe is this is that when we put God first in our lives you know what troubles don't sin as bad because God's in the battle with us right I'm going to take this moment and I think I've been doing this kind of I give you a devotional but I don't give a time how to be saved how to be saved is knowing that you've done wrong knowing that you need to turn away from your sins and ask Jesus Christ to come into your life. And it is an easy and simple thing to do. And that is to bow your head and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and ask Him to save you and ask you to remove this sin from your heart and ask Him to be Lord of your life. and that's how simple it is but you got to follow him too you got to follow after Jesus Christ you got to learn from the word and I hope this message has been a blessing to you today let end with a little bit more here I want to see what goes on but I wanted to put that evangelistic message out there that if anyone is lost they can come to know Jesus Christ today so let's look at 21 2111 when you see terrible schemes unfold and hear various attacks, remember that evil people will not succeed forever. The power of evildoers is only temporary. And God's very presence would send them scattering in a moment. God, according to his plan and his purpose, will interview for his people and will give the wicked the judgment they deserve. We should not be dismayed when we see the temporary advantages God's enemies seem to have. It's what it comes down to. When we see all this evil around us, God is in control of everything. Even the evil part. He sees it all. We get all flustered and worried and confound about what's going on. We should a little bit, but here's the great thing. Look right here. This Bible, look. This Bible, that's what God is in control. people. God is in control. Not us. God. And when we realize that peace, calmness and insurance comes in. Do you know? So, thanks for watching today. Let's end in prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you so much, Lord, that we got these blessings from you, Lord. And we got this peace and insurance, Lord, that you are in control. You've already fought the battle, Lord. And thank you for these guidelines that you give us each day, Lord, that we can follow, Lord. And it's all in your scriptures, Lord, you know, like you did with David here, is that when we do face the battle, Lord, we know that we can cry out to you, Lord, and you're there to listen and to help us. And we just thank you, Lord, for your blessings you give us each day. I hope this message has blessed someone today, Lord. Lord I just pray Lord if there's anyone out there Lord that is listening to this message right now if you're lost and you don't know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior Lord I just pray that they would come to know you today your great and powerful Savior that you are Lord that you would save them from their lost ways and come to know you as your personal Savior we just thank you Lord for your love and your grace and mercy. In Christ's name we pray. Amen.
