Sunday service message. We're so happy that you can be here today with us. You know, I've been thinking about a lot of stuff and it is great that how our church is growing and we just thank you so much that, you know, you can be a part of our church and touching lives out there. and you know again if you have any prayer requests uh for our prayer meeting on wednesday nights you can go to uh brighterdaybaptistchurch.com at gmail.com and leave your prayer requests there and we'll be glad to pray for you and then that will be on wednesday nights at 7 p.m and that could change to 7 30 p.m. depending on the circumstance as far as technical stuff goes. So please be watching out for that and today we're in the book of Romans. We're going to be looking at chapter 10 verses 8 and we're looking at that confession, you know, a lot of times we don't want to confess our sins, or we don't want to ask Jesus, but this type of confession is to be saved by Jesus Christ. You know, I think that there is so many out there that is lost and don't know Jesus, you know, and I think that the most imperative important word that we need to preach on is how to be saved by Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, how to be saved. And that's why we're in Romans today, Romans 10, verses 8. And we're going to pray, and then we'll get started. Dear Heavenly Father, we just thank you so much for our listeners. Lord, I hope that their hearts and minds will be attuned to the word of the day, Lord, because it is an important message how to be saved. And we just thank you, Lord, for that message, Lord. And we just thank you for your life, Lord, that you gave us on this earth, Lord, that you spent for 33 years. And, Lord, we just thank you for all the knowledge and stuff that's in the Bible, Lord. We just ask you, Lord, to bless our listeners today, Lord. Help them, Lord, and increase their learning. In Christ's name we pray. Amen. So I'm going to bring up the scripture and we'll read through it. And then we going to put a more of a powerful message on the end of it So let go ahead and do that So it says here and this is verse eight on the top here of this. It says, But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in the mouth and the heart. That is the word of faith, which we preach, that if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, that shalt believe in thy heart that God has raised him from the dead, that shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confess is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jews and the Greek. For the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach except by be sent? as it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tiding of good things. But they have not all obeyed the gospel for Isaiah saith the Lord who hath believed our report. so we're in 17 so then faith come by hearing and hearing by the word of god so uh again it says how to be saved is if we look up in the scripture here and it says in verse 9, it says, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God has raised him from the dead Thou shalt be saved Thou shalt be saved So again we look at Jesus as in the business of saving the lost And there's tons of lost people out there. and you know i feel diligently in my heart and pray diligently for those people who are lost because they're going to wake up one day in in in a place called hell and hell is mentioned in the bible jesus mentioned about hell in the bible and the problem is there's a lot of people that wants to go there because all they want to do is focus on their needs that they have right now on this earth and all they want to do is one thing two or three things they want to party they want to do things with the wrong way you know they want to seek their own pleasures well god didn't design this world for our own pleasures but let me take that back now a pleasure god designed this world to have a relationship with us right he didn't mind us to have certain type of freedoms and have certain things to do, right? But he, when Eve and Adam sinned in that garden, it broke that relationship with him. So it's imperative, you know, that we learn that God loves us and he wants that relationship back. So that's why he sent his only son, John 3, 16. He sent his only son that he died and went to the cross. And then from the cross to the grave, right? And from the grave he rose again, that we shall be saved from our sins. So it's imperative, you know, we can just confess with our mouths and believe on the Lord Jesus that we are saved. Are we perfect? No. Do we sin? Yes. But the great thing about it is we're sealed by the Lord Jesus Christ, and we confess our sins and he is rightful to forgive us of our sins. The pattern thing is that we need to get back to God. America needs to get back to God and forget all this mess, about all this gay-lism and lesbianism. We need to get back to God. And I hate to say this, but America is like a big pit and getting ready to fall into hell That what it coming down to people That what it coming down to I going to preach the way I preach And if you don want to hear me you can turn me off Okay? You can turn me off. But I'm telling you, I pray for everyone that listens to me. Okay? And I'm going to tell you, okay, there's a right way and there's a wrong way. And the Bible says there's a narrow road, a narrow gate, and many people don't get into that narrow gate. They follow the wide road, the destruction. We need to get back to the narrow gate so many people can go to heaven, right? And that narrow gate is believing and asking Jesus Christ to save your lost soul. That's what's important. That's what's important. and following after Jesus Christ. You know, the world is consuming itself by its own desires. You know, not God's desires, but its own desires. What the devil wants to do is deceive many and take him, take a lot of humans, to hell with him. So if you want to do that, that's your decision. But what I'm saying, I'm going to preach to you how to get to heaven and ask to the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty. And how to do that is to confess. Confess and give your life to Jesus Christ and then accept him and then follow after Jesus. Not give up on Jesus, but follow up, follow after him. That's the most important thing. Let's end in prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, we just thank you so much, Lord, that you are the Lord of all, of all of us, Lord. And we need, Lord, to look toward you all the time, Lord, for advice. And, Lord, that we ask you, Lord, to please, Lord, if there's anybody that's listening to this message that is lost, please, Lord, I just ask you, Lord, that they would come to know you as their personal Savior today, Lord. please Lord because I know that there's a hell waiting for those that are the unloss Lord and Lord please I just pray that they would accept him today in Christ's name I pray amen hey stay tuned for Wednesday night prayer meeting and we'll look forward to seeing you there have a great Sunday I hope this message has been a blessing to you it's imperative though you know if you don't know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Today can be your day to know him.
