Transcript: Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting at Brighter Day Baptist Church

church.com and we just uh thanks to dad for uh doing the service tonight you know god is blessing and watching and taking care of stuff and it's just a real blessing i wanted to come in tonight and just uh thank all our listeners and uh please keep um agnes kent sammy kent randy kent and the family in prayer. And we just want to also keep all the rest of our listeners, Travis Proctor, and all the family, my family down south, keep that in prayer. There's so many things that we can be praying for. And tonight is my concern is on our nation. Our nation is hurting for good, godly people. You know, our churches are, some of our smaller churches across America are closing up. I know one that I went up to the mountains with my friend because we hunt up there and a little Baptist church. I love the little country Baptist churches, but this one was just sad because it was Sunday and there was nobody in the parking lot. it's just sad. I believe our time is getting closer. I believe the Lord is coming quickly and he's coming back to judge. I believe that if we don't wake up, we got a duty to help those that are lost and help those in need I really believe that Tonight, let's pray for our nation, you know, that God will turn our nation around and make it come to its knees and bring it back to some godly standards, you know. And I got some other issues that I want to discuss after our prayer. And so let's go ahead in prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, we just thank you so much, Lord, for all that you're doing across this world, Lord, and saving the lost, Lord. We ask you, Lord, for our churches, Lord, a lot of the little churches, little country churches, and even some of our big churches, Lord, are closing up, Lord. And some are just even forgot even how to preach the gospel, Father. We ask you, Lord, to help our nation, help our churches, Lord, return back to some of the ways it used to be, Lord. And we ask you, Lord, for our schools and our industries and our jobs and across America, Lord. We ask you, Lord, that you would intervene. and Lord, if it is you that's definitely intervened, Lord, I know you're in control of it all, Lord. And I know the Lord that you mentioned in the Bible that in the latter days, things would get worse. And maybe it's definitely that, you know, that things are going to get worse. And Lord just prepare us and help our hearts and help our minds to be attentive to the word and seek you out daily we ask you Lord Lord to please be with our friends all on Facebook and their families and just watch over them and protect them, Lord. We just thank you so much, Lord, for the ones that do listen to us, Lord. We ask you, Lord, to open up more doors, Lord, that we can spread the gospel, Lord. We just thank you for everything that you're doing In Christ's name we pray. Amen. Now, another thing I'd like to discuss with you is this. And if you have any prayer requests, please do the same email. And we want to hear from you. You know, we want to hear from our listeners. It's important. But our ministry is growing. I just checked it today. We're over 7 million right now hits across the world. and a lot of the foreign nations, especially Ukraine and Russia, we're getting quite a few from them. But like I said, we don't hear. The only one we heard from is from Africa, and I pray for that man. I don't know who he is, but I pray that the Lord is blessing him and watching over him wherever he may be. But definitely keep us in prayer We looking in a way where people can give to the ministry that will open up more doors for us to spread the gospel I'm hoping that I can do a maybe even a fundraiser on Facebook and that will help us out. Get that going. But we thank you so much for watching. sorry that you know my jobs switched I work in a school so during the summertime my my hours switch and then now it's like 2 30 to 11 and I get home and then I can come and talk to you here at this time so it's such a great time and a great peace and a great calmness to be with you tonight You know, and I want to bring back also our daily devotional, our brighter day daily devotional will be coming back. And I think some people that enjoyed that. Me and Dad also talked about during some of the services, we're going to try to bring in some music, some hymnal music before the preaching and the prayer. I believe that's part of the church. We want to try to incorporate that. and so we want to bring in some southern gospel quartets hymnal music and we can sing along with it and then have a wonderful time worshiping together so we just thank you so much for this time that you are spending with me and we just thank you so much for watching have a great night
