Transcript: Biblical Miracles Explained by Dr. Johnson Cherian

Music Praise the Lord. Welcome to the series titled Miracles from the Bible. I am Dr. John Censarian. I will be reading a small passage from Matthew chapter 9. When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed him, crying out, saying, Son of David, have mercy on us. When he had come into the house, the blind men came to him. And Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? They said to him, Yes, Lord. Then he touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith, let it be to you. And their eyes were opened. Praise the Lord. Those are verses 27 to 30 from Matthew chapter 9. Here are two blind men. They have not seen Jesus healing anyone. They have only heard about it. But they have faith in themselves that Jesus is able to do this great miracle for them. And we see them crying out to Jesus. and as we face problems in our lives too when we cry out to God he listens to our prayers and we see this blind man crying out to Jesus son of David have mercy on us and when Jesus had come into the house this blind man came to him and Jesus he asked them a question do you believe that I am able to do this so this day whatever problem that you are going through Jesus if he asks you the same question what will you answer him Jesus asks the question do you believe that I am able to do this Some circumstances that we face in our lives we know that it's very difficult to solve by ourselves or other people cannot solve it but God can do the impossible in our lives and Jesus asks this question to this blind man who have not seen any miracle They have not seen anything at all. And Jesus is asking them, do you believe that I am able to do this? And they say, yes, Lord. They had the faith that Jesus is able to do that. You know, they had heard about all the miracles that Jesus was doing. And that faith had developed in their hearts that Jesus could heal them. And as we read the word of God, as we meditate on the word of God, our faith increases in God Almighty His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and we start believing, our faith starts increasing that God is able to do the impossible for us and they said to Him, yes Lord then He touched their eyes, according to your faith let it be to you and their eyes were opened and Jesus says the same thing to each one of us who show Him our faith He says, according to your faith let it be to you May God bless you with these words. Praise the Lord. you
