Music Praise the Lord. Welcome to the series titled Miracles from the Bible. I am Dr. John Censarion and I will be reading verse 11 from James chapter 5. There it says, Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord, that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful. Most of us have read the book of Job. If you have not read, this man suffered a lot. He lost almost everything. Almost all his family he lost. His wife who was left complained against him, gave him the wrong advice. His friend spoke against him. And finally, he suffered in his body. so this man who had lost everything in his life when we think about him we may think is there any deliverance for this man maybe you are going through a situation like that where you have lost everything you are a Christian, you have believed in Jesus Christ you know, you have been worshipping him in spirit and truth lived a good life so as to say but then you are suffering and you have lost many things and you think is there any deliverance for me James he writes to people who are suffering like that and he says that you have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord, that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful, praise the Lord. Job was in a very hopeless situation, yet God changed all that in a moment. And when we read the last chapter of Job, there it says, Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning. Praise the Lord. And the last couple of verses of that book, it says, After this Job lived 140 years and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations. So Job died old and full of days. When we read the book of Job, we see that this man is in a hopeless situation, but James writes that he endured. He persevered. And the end intended by the Lord was wonderful because the Lord is compassionate and merciful. So if you are going through a period of suffering, meditate on the word of God and believe that God is able to do great things for you yet again. May God bless you with these verses. Praise the Lord. Thank you.
