Thank you. Praise the Lord. Welcome to this series titled Miracles from the Bible. I am Dr. John Sancharian. I will be reading a short passage from Genesis chapter 18, verse 10 onwards. And he said, I will certainly return to you according to the time of life. And behold, Sarah, your wife, shall have a son. Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him. Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age, and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my Lord, being old also? And the Lord said to Abraham, Why did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I surely bear a child since I am old? Is there anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time, I will return to you according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Praise the Lord. Those verses 10 to 14 from Genesis chapter 18. Abraham and Sarah were well advanced in age according to this passage. But then God had given them a promise that they will have a child of their own from Sarah's womb. And we see God appearing to Abraham by the terebin trees of Mamre as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. When he lifted his eyes he looked and behold three men were standing and he welcomed them into his house and he gave them good food to eat and we read that he stood by them under the tree as they ate and then they asked him a question where is Sarah your wife and so Abraham said here in the tent that is when we see that the angel of the Lord he says I will certainly return to you according to the time of life and behold Sarah your wife shall have a son but then being advanced in age we see that Sarah laughed within herself thinking how can this be possible but with God all things are possible and God did a great miracle in the life of Abraham and Sarah and we read in the book of Genesis that Abraham at the age of 100 and Sarah at the age of 90 they had a son of their own and they called his name Isaac praise the Lord and here God asks a question to Abraham he says is anything too hard for the Lord and God tells him at the appointed time I will return to you according to the time of life and Sarah shall have a son and we all know that God kept his promise God Almighty is one who keeps his promises if he has given you a promise that he will do something wonderful in your life he will do it at the right time wait for him, thanking him that he has already done that in your life praise God, the God who blessed Abraham and Sarah with a great blessing is able to bless you too.
