We're going to be starting in verse 29. and then we'll be going to, I would say, yeah, it's going to verse 29 to verse 32, and we're going to learn about God's personal care for hurting people. So we're going to start in prayer. so if you're watching you can turn your bibles there if you have a bible and then we're going to go ahead and start in prayer dear heavenly father we just thank you so much lord for this time that we can share lord we ask you lord to please be with all our listeners lord and and then encourage them lord to keep on keeping on serving you lord we ask you lord the ones that are lost that they would come to know you as their personal savior lord we ask you lord that if any one is out there that is hurting and inflicted, Lord, that you would please be with them, Lord, and your healing hand upon them. And we just thank you so much, Lord, for this time. Please put me aside Lord and let me speak clearly and we let this message go out So if you have your Bibles we going to start And we going to start here in verse 29 And then he said to Yehazad, Gird up thy loins and take up my staff in thine hand and go thy way. If thou meet any man, salute him not, and if any, salute thee, answer him not again. And lay my staff upon his face of the child, and the mother of the child said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul passed on before them. and laid the staff upon the face of the child, but there was neither voice nor hearing. Wherefore, he went again to meet him and told him, saying, The child is not awakened. And when Elijah was coming to the house, behold, the child was dead. and laid upon the bed and went therefore and shut the door behind him and then prayed unto the Lord and he went up and laid upon the child and put his mouth upon his mouth and his eyes upon his eyes and his hands upon his hands and he stretched himself upon the child and the flesh and the child waxed warm Then he returned and walked in the house and to fro and went up and stretched himself upon him and the child sneezed seven times and the child opened his eyes and he called Gajia and said, call this Shemaetit so he called her and when she was to come in to him he said take up thy son and she went in and fell at his feet and bowed herself to the ground and took up her son and went out now we see here right I want to read what I wrote here Elijah a prophet a miracle worker right of God Elijah brought this boy back from the dead I couldn't imagine what this mother was going through as she sees her son lying on this bed dead. The pain and the suffering she was going through, but God is a mighty God, and God sent his servant to this woman's house to heal her son and to restore a mother's heart There is nothing impossible with God And it says here we see here in this God God personal care for hurting people And we going to read in here in the commentary And it should enlighten us a little bit today Let me get over to it. It says, Elijah's prayer and method of rising the dead's boy shows God's personal care for hurting people. We must express genuine concern for others as we carry God's message to them. Only then will we fulfill, fulfill, faithfully, I'm sorry, faithfully represent our compassionate Father in heaven. We need to be compassionate for others. You know, and our hearts need to be changed. So pray for a compassionate heart for people. You know, pray for strength. Pray for wisdom and helping others. Sometimes it is hard to help others that don't want to be helped. But continue to pray and ask God to break that barrier. and to go out and help those people that's in need. And by doing so, and by doing so, pray that they would see a light in you and they want to know that light and they want to accept that light and that is Jesus Christ that will save them. I hope this sermon has been a blessing to you. Have a great day. Let's end in prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, I just thank you for this message. Thank you, Lord, and let it apply to these people, whoever are listening to it, Lord, and help them to see, Lord, to have a passionate heart for others. We just thank you, Lord, for your love and your mercy. In Christ's name we pray. Amen.
