Transcript: Consequences of Pride: God's Judgment on the Proud

Good morning and good evening and namaskar my dear brothers and sisters. A warm welcome to one and all of you and I greet you in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As always it gives me a pleasure, tremendous pleasure I would say. I am deeply overwhelmed in joy which I cannot express. Many people ask this question, why do you keep repeating this? Yeah, I would love to repeat the truth because the joyful experience what you go through, only the person who feels it can understand better than the person who is watching over this person. Correct? No. Other people who are watching over you may witness. Oh, what a joyful attitude. What a great attitude. You're always happy and all that. No. I'm not happy. I'm joyful. Why? Because happiness is temporary. It's situational based. You get promotions. You get a new car or you get a new wife. New wife means newly married. Don't get any crazy ideas. Right? or you get a wonderful husband, you were very recently married and you are going through honeymoon period and you are very happy. But what after 2 years down the line? What after 10 years down the line? What after 30 years down the line? Yeah, hope you don't hate one another. But that is the condition of many couple today, right? But that is called as happiness. That is temporary, that is situational based, that is circumstance based. and you know there isn't anybody who can really tell you the difference between happiness and joy except for the person who has really gone through it. Anyway, we are not here to talk about happiness and joy but joy is permanent because the situation cannot take away the cheerful attitude, the cheer that you have in God. Why? Because your confidence and trust is in God that can never be shaken. A warm welcome to this short series where we are talking through a very important subject. And the short series are to cover maximum number of things in the facts in the Bible, the doctrines in the Bible. We discuss for 10, 15, 20 minutes and we close it. Today we are going to discuss one such topic from the Word of God, Isaiah chapter 2, verses 5 onwards. It's talking about the Day of the Lord. According to the new covenant, the day of the Lord is nothing but the rapture event, that second coming of Jesus. Jesus would come for the second time. Acts chapter 1, if you can read, you will understand. When Jesus was caught up into the clouds, there were two angels who came and who were telling that, Hey, men, why are you getting amazed? The Jesus, the same Jesus who was taken into the cloud is also going to descend from the clouds one second for the second time. Therefore, do not be amazed. Just believe in his teachings. Just believe in his holy name. And please go across the ends of the earth and be the witnesses and testimonies for the name of Jesus. And this is going to happen. And Jesus spoke through this. Lord of signs towards the end times. He spoke about that in Matthew 24. And if you read that carefully, you will be able to understand that all the signs that Jesus spoke through, all the important events that he spoke through are already fulfilled. the time is ripened enough for Jesus to come for the second time anytime or any day or any moment even right now while we were talking while we are talking the trumpets will be blown and you will hear the noise and Jesus is going to come for sure right no one can stop him but the time the season that exact microsecond only the father in heaven knows that is for sure and that is why you and I really need to watch and pray be diligent in our ways and walk in wisdom Bible says in Matthew 26 41 and Ephesians chapter 5. Why it is very important is the day of the Lord can never be missed. No one will be able to say in the twinkling of an eye he came and went but in the twinkling of an eye when he would come and go every eye would witness and many people will repent. Is this the true Savior whom we had crucified? Every hands that had pierced him, every eyes that had really seen and witnessed will repent. Did we not understand that he is the true God? Why? Because after Jesus comes and goes, the day of the Lord is over, the grace period is coming to an end. Now, what is the importance of grace? Many people misuse the word grace. Sin multiplies, grace also multiplies. To many people, grace means it's all about in the name of Jesus, you know, may my sins be forgiven and cleansed. Yes, your sins are going to be forgiven, you are going to be cleansed, you are going to be walking righteous after that. 1 John chapter 1 verses 7 to 10. But the actual meaning of grace is, this is the power of grace. In the name of Jesus you get this grace for free I agree but a person who had really understood the true meaning of grace will also remember the sufferings that Jesus went through on the cross and shedding his precious blood that he purchased you and me for a price Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6 and he will show that respect for all the 500 deep wounds that he had carried on his back 5000 plus wounds all over his body, deep cuts alone were 500 of them and he carried a 150 kg heavy cross on his shoulders and he himself was weighing 80 kgs and he was 5 foot and 11 inches tall and he walked with that heavy cross falling down 3 times for 1 and a half kilometer and he was hanging on the cross for six and a half hours where he still did not die but suffering in pain. Where he even rejected that little drink they gave which was mixed with a component, chemical substance called as gal which will make his body numb. But Jesus said, no, let my body not go numb. Let me feel the pain. Therefore, I carry their iniquities. I carry their sickness, their disease, their pain. There is a wonderful song, right? I am trading my sorrows. I am trading my shame. I am trading my pain for the joy of the Lord. Do you understand the meaning? That is the actual definition of grace. You have to trade all your pain and sorrows and all that, you know, that you go through remembering the sufferings on the cross. And that is the thing that is missing in Christendom. Why? Because many people take this grace on the wrong side. They use it as a shield to protect them from, you know, the day of destruction or the day of white throne judgment. Understand what I am saying? You cannot misuse grace. Because why? You and I will have to see the day of the Lord. every eye will witness every saint who is sleeping comfortably in their tombs or resting in the paradise will be caught up in the midair and jesus will take them into a different place bible says that you know and all these events will be witnessed and after that white throne judgment is a definite and imminent imminent event that is inevitable that the whole world will have to face that you will have to settle your accounts for every deed every action every word of your mouth you will have to justify. That's why Bible says, hey, be careful, be diligent. Yeah, don't do things playfully. Don't judge people. Do not slander. Yeah, do not be a murderer. Do not be a deceiver or do not get deceived. People who are in deception also will burn in the lake of fire. You understand? You cannot say, I did not deceive anyone. No, but you got deceived. Therefore, you are a sinner too. You have no reasons to call for an excuse. Why? Because the holy bible is in your hand the instructions the guidelines the laws and the commandments of the bible are to protect us to lead a victorious life on planet earth and also live a wonderful life in eternity with god forever and ever if you miss this opportunity you deserve judgment you deserve the lake of fire and this is the concept called as the day of the lord there is so much income fast but this is a short session no we can't talk too much because my time is running i want to close in 10 or 12 minutes, right? Already 8 minutes gone. So, O house of Lord, come and I'm reading from Isaiah chapter 2 verse number 5. O house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of the Lord. For you have forsaken your people the house of Jacob because they are filled with eastern ways and they are soothsayers like the Philistines and they are pleased with the children of foreigners today we mix up with the world and we get involved in the worldly pleasures why? what to do brother? we are working in corporate industry imagine corporate industries like Philistines and you are from the tribe of Israel and God separated you from the other tribes why? because you are special people you are very loving to me and my love and compassion is always with you and if required I will even deploy my angels to fight against your enemies and I will take good care of you I, he has taken good care of his food, clothing, shelter, everything. Prosperity is guaranteed. But when you get engaged, when you get involved, when you get accompanied and associated with these worldly people, worldly pleasures means what? Today, a lot of things are, you know, every entertainment industry is involved in this, in the Philistine way of, you know, worshipping their demons, correct? Soothsayer is nothing but, you know, black magics and sorceries and spiritists and mediums and all these things, right? They consult evil spirits to get some prophecies and all that. Philistines were known for it, right? And that's why this guy ultimately landed. King Saul ultimately landed there. He crossed the boundaries and he was asking a soothsayer, a witcher, saying that, you know, help me here and all that. He did not approach God. Today, that is a sad situation of many, many Christians in Christendom. Yeah, we get carried away with the worldly pleasures. Some person, some heathen, you know, suggests you something. and you get carried away in the direction but you don't consult Bible. Is that your position before God today? You are in danger. Your soul is in danger. That's what I'm trying to tell you And here their land is also full of silver and gold and there is no end to their treasures their land is also full of horses and there is no end to their chariots their land is also full of idols they worship the work of their own hands that which the their own fingers have made today what is your position this is old covenant but in the new covenant standards if you look you don't lack anything correct or not right you have a good job good bank balance you know good houses and good number of cars and this and that. Here, there's the same thing they are saying here. And you have a very good job which is full of security and all that. And not only that, you have a lot of idolatry in you. You are not a statue worshipper, but then you are a worshipper of pornography, right? You are a worshipper of adultery. You are a worshipper of fornication. You are a worshipper of, you know, flirting with men, flirting with women accordingly, or flirting with the same sex, right? These days, a lot of secret lesbians and gays are really, really thriving in large numbers. and the government also approved such kind of marriages. Why government? Catholic churches, they have approved such one sex marriage, one gender marriage. This is not approved in the Bible. Is this approved of the Bible or not? Is this approved by your God or not? Have you ever consulted him? Have you ever checked? No, you don't. So, idolatry has multiple forms, multiple varieties. Many people mistake it. There is a misconception that idolatry means statue worship. No, sorry. That's not the only form of idolatry. There are a lot of idolatries. You spend a lot of time in entertainment, sports, TV, this and that. And people who are involved in the church activities always helping pastor. No time to pray. No, you have an idol. Your idol is nothing but your pastor himself. Check on yourself. Yeah, it may sound strange. No, this is not a strange doctrine. We are talking the truth. Your first and foremost importance will be for the Lord and God Almighty who created you and me. He is our creator. And he longs for your love, not for your gold, silver, money already. Because everything that you have acquired and obtained is from God and it belongs to Him. The original owner of your property, your silver, gold, money, bank balance, anything is God the Father. Nothing belongs to you and me. Naked we came and naked we shall go away. You shall not take anything. Yeah, that was a situation of many people who died of COVID. They just went to take treatment and they got admitted in the hospital. Third or fourth day, they ended up in paralysis. paralysis and fifth or sixth day they ended up in all sorts of you know numbness in their brain and they're not able to think anything and finished their life is gone on the fifth day they are dead and gone imagine five six days their life is gone they would have never thought of it many people are still in shock all right people bow down and each man each man humbles himself therefore therefore do not forgive them. Enter into the rock and hide in the dust from the terror of the Lord and the glory of his majesty. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled. The haughtiness of men shall be bowed down and the Lord alone shall be exalted in the day. For the day of the Lord of hosts shall come upon everything proud and lofty upon everything lifted up and it shall be brought low. upon the cedars of lebanon and all that you know the loftiness of men shall be you know bow down they shall be into the you know they shall go into the holes of the rocks and into the caves of the earth from the terror of the lord and glory of his majesty when he arises to shake the earth mightily this is talking about the events that's going to happen the armageddon battle right and uh you know men during those days will say that hey rock follow me let me be dead and gone you have you have seen that in the book of revelation right this is nothing but you know this is the pre version of that revelation this is the prerequisite of that revelation book of revelation and all these incidents will take place in this world and this is a this is guaranteed for sure none of the word will go unaccomplished heaven and earth may pass away but by my no means my word will pass away not a word will be decremented not a word will remain unaccomplished matthew 24 35 says now what is saying what what what what what the lord is trying to say here is you will hide from the terror of god when is the terror when is the day it could be armaged and battle it could be the tribulation period it could be the white throne judgment day it could be even that battle that happens after the thousand years reign of jerusalem anything but whatever people are thinking today and assuming is, nothing goes wrong with me. See brother, I am prosperous. I am doing very well in my job. Without God blessing me, how is it possible for me to be prosperous? This and that they will question. No, but your judgment is kept in reservation. Bible uses that word It is reserved and kept for the day of judgment Therefore you can never escape never even dream never even think in your dreams that you will escape And don think of God mercy in that white throne judgment Don think of God grace in that white throne judgment Because why Until you see the day of the Lord that mercies and grace and compassion are given in splendid measures According to Psalms 145 8 and 9 according to Psalms 103 11 147 11 if you read you will understand God is kind in his heart. He is ready to forgive any number of times Bible says. But there is a limit for that also. Why? Because you keep on insulting the blood covenant and his son trampling on his face. You know Bible says that each time you sin you are making Jesus to lie down and you are trampling on his face. Hebrews 10 29. You read you won't you don't believe me you read the word of God. You are trampling the son of God and you are insulting the Holy Spirit. How long God will bear? Right? Bible says do not grieve the Holy Spirit in Ephesians 4.30. How long God is going to tolerate you? There is a limit for God. Psalms 103 verse 9 says that God will not strive with the spirit of man forever, neither will he hold his anger forever. There is the limit. And if God crosses the limit, it may look like all is well. Why? Because the devil will keep it that way. Why? God walks out of your life and devil enters your life. Devil can also deceive people through prosperity. Devil never ever imagined the devil once he comes all destruction happens and all that. You know what is another supreme form of destruction? Prosperity. Yeah. He will bless you so much. He will give you so much money. Hey, he told Jesus I will give you the whole kingdom man. I will make you a trillioner. Just worship me. Jesus said no. Hell with you. Get lost. Get behind me Satan. Yeah. And away with me Satan. Something like that Jesus said. Correct or not? You need to learn to speak such things as Jesus spoke. Get away from me Satan. Get away from me this prosperity. Sometimes you need to move away from prosperity. Doesn't mean to say that you have to become poverty stricken and beg for bread and money and all that. Nothing like that. But then you need to check the source of your prosperity. You are earning money in God's way or in devil's way. Really you need to check. These are some of the examples we are giving but there are a lot of things that you definitely can discover in your life. The main fact here is the day of the Lord. Be prepared to face the Lord. Right? And on that day you will not get mercies. And even here also, the day of the Lord had already been accomplished in many people's life. If God walks out of your life, you have already seen the day of the Lord. You are already ready for that judgment. You need not even wait for the white throne judgment. The white throne judgment is already done in your life. You have been judged. God is totally impatient and not able to tolerate your deeds. How are you going to escape from God's fury and anger? And that's what Bible says. Hide yourself from that. people will learn to, I mean, look for caves and they want to hide from the terror of the Lord. You don't have to hide from Him. Walk in. Today, if this is your situation, you are involved in some sinful deeds, you are not able to overcome, walk into the presence of God. Get into the private room. Bible says in Matthew 6 and chapter, verses 5 and 6, lock your door and sit in presence of God and weep and sob and ask Him to forgive you. Reconcile with Him through repentance. Bible says in Ephesians, sorry, 2 Corinthians chapter 5 Verses 10 onwards you take and read. Repentance and reconciliation. Reconcile with him. Once they can acquire the anointing of the Holy Ghost. Your body is the temple of God. But all these days you have submitted it into the hands of the demons. Through any of your practices he can enter. Through any of your habitual practices he can enter. Travel into your body. Kick him out today. Resist the devil and he will flee away from you. James 4.7 says. It's possible for you to reconcile with God. You need not hide from the terrors of God. but you can walk into the presence of your father in heaven and ask him to forgive you in the name of Jesus. There is cleansing touch through the blood of Jesus. There is redemption through the blood of Jesus and in the name of Jesus there is deliverance and you are going to be pronounced as righteous according to 1 John chapter 1 verses 7 to 10.
