Transcript: God's Assurance of Help for Humanity: Faith and Trust in Him

Hello my dear brothers and sisters, a warm welcome to one and all of you and I greet you in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As always I feel privileged and happy that we are united under this one name, the matchless name, the name, you know, the go-to person is Jesus. He is always available 24 by 7 to listen to our needs and He is mighty counselor and He is Emmanuel, God who is with us, Bible says. So never forget this. Whenever you are in the midst of any distressing moments, any troublesome moments, there is definitely a brother. He is the go-to person. And please do not miss that opportunity. And don't end up in any kind of bad decisions. Or don't end up meeting any bad people. Because there are many people who could mislead. Not that they do it willingly, but the limitation of man's wisdom could obviously, you know, mislead people or, you know, end up telling some things that are not appropriate. So go to God and he is perfect. He is perfect in all his decisions. A warm welcome to this short series where we are going to, we are continuously meditating on many subjects like these. Today we will be discussing briefly from Isaiah 41 verses 1 to 20. I will not have time to read the entire 1 to 20. But we are going to pick up, hand pick few verses and we will be meditating shortly in a shorter tense. Isaiah 41, Israel assured of God's health. Let us spend little time on this title. The assurance from God is to help you and me. Anybody in this world, including your parents, including your closest relative, your own wife, your own husband, they may say that I am there for you, I will help you. But I will tell you what Bible says, there is weakness in the flesh of men. So, it's not that it's their desire to ditch you, betray you, you know, drub you and all that. But that's the limitation of a human being. You cannot blame them for that. And we are not asking you to refrain from the human relationship. It's very, very important that you have good relationship, right? Always be peaceful with men. It's always good to have fellowship. It's always good to mingle people with brotherly love and sisterly love. Nice. But some of the important decisions that you make in life, some of the important moments that you go through in life where you are deeply distressed, you are disturbed and you do not know what to do. The go-to person, as I told before, is definitely not human beings. It is God. for this reason. Other few verses that I would also like to get you reminded is Hebrews 13.5 where God the Father makes it very clear that I will never leave you nor forsake you. I am the God who is your helper. Hebrews 13.6. I am the Lord who cares for you. 1 Peter 4.7. And he says, you are the apple of my eye and I will never forget you. Zachariah 4.10. And I have carved you in the palm of my hands. I will never forget you. God says that in Isaiah 49, 15 and 16. And he also reminds us that your mother, your own mother can forget you. Your own friends can despise and forsake you. But I, the Lord, will never ever forget you. Because why? I created you. I am your creator. You are breathing the breath of my nostrils as my spirit. Nothing but. Right? And I will never forget. Not only that, God creates us in his own image. According to Genesis 1.27 and Genesis 2.7, then why are we refraining to run to God first? Because that's the way how the world is functioning. and who is the ruler of the world? It's Mr. Devil and he will make every effort every possible effort to keep you outside the gospel to keep you outside the laws and commandments and the statues of God and that is where you and I need to take all possible attention and efforts to always abide in the word of God now come let's see what God has got to say here Isaiah 41 verses 1 and few verses selectively I will be reading. That's enough. That much only time we have. We have to close in 10 minutes from now. Keep silence before me, O coastlands, and let the people renew their strength. Let them come near. Then let them speak. Let us come near together for judgment. There are 4-5 things being coupled together. And we have to go through it one by one. Keep silence before me. First commandment. many of us walk into the presence of God with a big shopping list or with a big list of complaints and with a big list of expectations this and that first thing you should understand is principle number one when you enter into the presence of God be silent be silent means what? yeah I will be standing there I will be sitting mum and all that no worship God yeah the best thing to do is like pick some good songs, hymns and worship God with all your heart, mind and soul and tell him how big he is. Tell him how worthy he is. Tell him how whole he is. Tell him how loving he is and compassionate he is and all that. The worship songs are, it also depends what songs you are picking up, right? Or meditate from the Psalms, the book of Psalms, book of Proverbs book of Ecclesiastes These will instill a lot of thought process or trigger a lot of thought process This is called as being silent Why Immediately don open up your needs In fasting and prayer or in your daily prayers, you need to tell your needs. But reserve some time and the time cannot be more than 10% of your overall time. For example, you are spending 30 minutes in the presence of God. For your needs, don't spend more than 3-4 minutes. The remaining 25 minutes, you should distribute. meditation from the word of God, singing songs, singing hymns and confessions of the sins of the past and many things are there, you need to take a note of those and second thing let the people renew their strength which means what, while you worship God you will understand how big he is how mighty he is, is there anything impossible for him to do, with men it is impossible but with God all things are possible. You will pretty much understand who this God is all about. You will get a clear idea, better clarity and the Holy Spirit is going to do an awesome work in you. That is a very good experience, you know, when you go through those experiences. That will help you to renew your strength, rejuvenate your confidence, refresh your energy. Correct, no? To refresh some people go for fagging and liquor and this and that. So, no, no, our refresh, Our strength is renewed from the word of God. You renew your strength like eagle from the word of God. Isaiah 40, 29, 30, 31. Read it afterwards. Second principle. Let them come near and let them speak. Draw yourself nearer to God and God says, I will draw nearer to you. Yeah. James chapter 4 and verse 8. James chapter 1, 22. Read it afterwards. How to draw nearer to God? You need to understand what God wants from you and me. God wants only one thing from you and me. How many of you know this? He wants you to be obedient. That's it. Believe. When you're obedient, you will believe. The word of God is the real, I mean to say it's all about yes and amen. It's the word of God. It is the truth and it is definitely going to happen. If God has promised you certain things from the word of God, it is going to happen. You have to believe. And never ever assume any situation in your life is permanent. 2 Corinthians 4, 17 and 18. Clearly it is written. Read it offline. I'm giving you references. 1 Corinthians 10.13, clearly it is written, God will make a way for you to escape. He will not allow anything beyond what you could bear. He will never allow the devil to overtake you. He will help you to overcome. All these things are being written there. So what more references you need, what more we expect from God. It's only a matter of renewing the strength, waiting in patience. Bible says that wait in patience. Only then you will see the glory of God. sometimes you have to wait in patience for years and you cannot question god right that's exactly what bible says in romans chapter 12 i don't remember exactly which verse yeah can the pot rise up its head and ask the potter how can you make me like this yeah he's a creator he knows everything and how many of you know that he knows everything better than you and me he's the god who can foresee the future do you know what will happen in the next minute i don't know what will happen in the next microsecond? I don't know. But God can see everything until the end of your age, until your last breath. God can see everything. And everything he does, there are a lot of calculation, arithmetics involved. And how are you able to come to such a quick conclusion? Oh my God, no, he is deaf, he is blind and he is not able to see. I don't know why he is delaying. You don't have to know why he is delaying. It's enough that if God knows why he is delaying, right? Delay is not denial. Sometimes he denies and he also explains. God is merciful. He somehow conveys that signal, that communication. My loving daughter, my loving son, this is the reason I am denying. This is not good for you, right? Therefore, renew you and let them speak. Let them speak in the sense what? Let them come near and let them speak. Now, what to speak? Let them come near together for judgment. Speaking and judgment are tightly coupled because you have to give an account for every idle word that proceeds from your mouth which means what useless words when you enter into the presence of God have this as a principle think and talk don't talk and think some people don't do either of these right they don't think they only talk and they don't even think after talking also so it's very dangerous so never get into such kind of conversations with God don't take him for granted some people call him a hey friend come here something like that Hey, Daddy, come here. Give him that respect. He's Abba, Father. Yes, he's your friend. I agree. He has got three roles to play. God the Father. Loving Father. Your elder brother, Jesus. Call him brother. No problem. Your loving friend and companion, Holy Spirit. But have that respect in your heart. Yeah, do not say, you know, a lot of songs these days are coming like I don't want to quote any songs here and insult anybody. But then very casual. Yeah. Something like that. you know he's my buddy and I will just put my hands over his shoulders no you can't do that he's the holy of the holies and have that respect so when you talk to him why I'm saying this is because when you have the respect you will definitely revisit what you have prepared to talk for example you have that call from the Prime Minister office hey prime minister is impressed with you for some reasons and he has given a schedule he wants to have dinner with you for two hours in this uh in a prime minister's building is there no big one mighty one i have not gone inside but i have seen from outside in videos i have not seen it like so and this call you will get at least in a month's advance let us assume what will you do for that whole month My goodness, if I were to be there, I would rehearse and re-rehearse and rehearse and re-rehearse and I'll be rewinding. And I want to carefully listen to what Prime Minister is asking, right? Because Prime Minister gets tripped. No, that's it, finished. That's one thing. Another thing is sense of respect. What a great man. Yeah, chosen. He's also one of the Indian citizens, but he's chosen by all the citizens and voted as Prime Minister. My goodness. You know, our God. he is the prime minister of the prime ministers and he is the lord of lords and king of kings he is the one who appoints anyone as ministers upon his shoulders all governments not only government of India all governments they are running on his shoulders Isaiah 96 says and you have an appointment with such a god what does that mean whenever you enter into the prayer room it is an appointment with that lord of lords and king of kings if you have that sense of respect you don't have to re-rehearse you don't have to be paranoid but you will be clear on what you want from God. You will clearly understand his instincts and strengths. Right? That's how you are preparing because you understand the strengths of a prime minister, the power and the position that he has. Therefore, you are careful. Right? Verse number 2. Who raised up one from the east, who in righteousness called him to his deeds, who gave the nations before him and made him rule over kings, who gave them as the dust to his sword, as driven stubble to his bow. This simply means the questions are to find answers, but the answers are within the questions itself. Like if some things are, I will tell you in simple terms. If you are prosperous, you have your own car, you have your own house, you have your own wife, you have your own husband, right? Many people think I only married her. No, no, no. God only helped you to find that wonderful lady, right? find that wonderful husband the marriages are made in heaven you only say that on marriage and after that we abuse each other right something like that anything and everything that happens in your life you need to have that understanding it is from God unless God approves nothing happens that's why God is asking so many questions who did this who did that never say that I worked hard brother therefore I got my promotion no no God gave you the strength and wisdom and knowledge and ability and opportunity therefore you got your promotion how is this And this is the truth. Yeah, all that I am saying is the truth. Okay, let's come, let's go to verse number 7. I am skipping few verses, therefore we can cover the maximum. In 2-3 minutes I will close, okay. So, the craftsman encouraged the goldsmith and he who, what to say, smooths with a hammer inspired him who strikes the anvil saying, it is ready for the soldering. Then he fastened it with pegs that it might not, whatever, totter. But you Israel are my servant Jacob, whom I have chosen the dissonance of Arba and whatever my friend. So what he's trying to say is you are not that idol which has no life in it. But you are created in my image and you are my servant. Servant in the sense God expects you to be the light of the world. God expects you to lead others into the life of salvation. God expects you to be a role model in faith and conduct and love and purity and speech. 1 Timothy 4.12, right? Ephesians chapter 5, read it offline. You will understand. I'm skipping few verses. So I will come to 10, 11, 12 and I will close with that, okay? fear not for I am with you do not be dismayed for I am your God I will strengthen you yes I will help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand one of my favorite verses Isaiah 41 verse 13 is even more favorite but Bible here in verse number 10 what you need to underline and circle is fear not fear is imminent I also go through that you also go through it but you know what Bible says in 2nd Timothy 1 7 the spirit of fear is not from God. Each time you and I go through this fear, you need to defeat it. It's like firing a missile against a missile, right? The security system in India parked in the boundaries of, for example, China boundary and Pakistan boundary and all that, there will be a missile detector, sensor running. If a missile is being fired from Pakistan, India will fire another missile, missile to missile hit in the midair and it will be dead and gone, something like that. you need to fire a missile from the word of God the devil is doing his job he is instilling fear in your mind yeah will this happen you think really you will be healed you think doctor told the truth no no he told only the half truth half the truth is hidden under the table go google and find out all these things he will tell you not only sickness when you switch jobs are you sure you will excel here and when you go through any changes in life he will bring some or other doubt in your mind and you need to fire it back My God is in control Anything and everything begins with my God and ends with my God And if my God says it is the beginning yeah it will be a prosperous beginning. And if my God says it is the end, it will be a prosperous end. Because my God is in control. That's all. And go to sleep. And the same verse in 2 Timothy 1.7, spirit of power, love and sound mind. It is from God, Bible says, power and love and sound mind, they work together. It's like trinity, right? The power from the loving father, the love from his son Jesus Christ and the sound mind, right? From the scriptures, he will be leading with clarity, Holy Spirit, John 14, 26, you read it offline. What a beautiful connection, right? This is how you should read the word of God. You will get more understanding. You will extract a lot of principles. You will get a lot of clarity and you will get lot of courage and methods to fight against the viles of the devil. Our fight is not with the blood and flesh. It is with the principalities and powers of darkness as Bible says, fear is not from God. Next time you are going through any fear in your heart, clearly you can assume it is not from God. You have given lot of room to the devil to rule over your mind. And please be clear about that. Verse number 12, you shall seek them and not find them. those who contended with you, those who war against you shall be as nothing as a non-existing thing do you need any other verse from God? now it is not about men, it is a world covenant new covenant, you know what it is war against, it is against the powers of the darknesses so our fight is not the blood and flesh, that is new covenant Ephesians 6.12, correct? same verse is applicable in the new covenant standard also, but there is a little conversion there, verse number 13 for I the Lord your God will hold your right hand, saying to you fear not I will help you wow what more you expect this God to tell you what more expect your loving father to tell you see imagine you have your father who's like you know like a like a big Emperor and if the guy walks into your room and you're worried about something and you are the prince and he walks into your room and say I said son what is your problem and you say this blah blah blah this is my problem he says rise up come here he catches you by your hand and And he leads you somewhere to his chamber and he says, fear not, I will help you. And you know who your daddy is. I am the emperor. Right? So, our father is more than emperor. Emperor of the emperors. Correct, no? He is the ruler of universe. He runs the universe. And the earth is a little speck in the universe. And you and I are little speck inside the earth, which means what? We are nothing before God. Why are you? I always tell God, God, my father, I call him not God. I call him my father, loving father. You know what? My brains are like amoeba's brain. And my wisdom is absolutely nothing. I won't call myself as useless worm and this and that. God has given me a lot of wisdom because it is from God and I appreciate him for that. So, I don't want to, you know, go and fall downtrodden and say that I'm useless and meaningless and all that. No, no. God has given me wisdom. I know I have senses. But Lord, that is nothing before your senses. Fill me, instill me with thy leading and guidance. And I need you to guide me. This is how I pray. And you also should pray. All of us should pray. Verse number 14 and with that we close. Fear not you worm Jacob. God did not call him as worm but Jacob is calling himself as worm because they only confess no. In the book of Deuteronomy when we went there we were like grasshoppers and all that. You have that grasshopper prayer. I am nothing father. I am useless. I look at my neighbor. he is this, he is this and all that. You are praising someone else in your prayer time. Don't ever have that downcasting attitude or that, what to say, inferiority complex in your heart that you are not to be called as useless. No one is useless. God created everyone for a plan and purpose and all his plans and purpose are only for our good, not for evil. Jeremiah 29, 11, 12, Romans 8, 20, 18, makes all things work together for your good and my good. Yes. therefore you fear not see how many fear nots you worm jacob god did not call you worm you are calling yourself as woman you're saying you're not a worm you are my child you men of israel i will help you man says the lord and your redeemer the holy one of israel here it's talking about jesus and today jesus has come and gone and he's also living and he's going to come again and he's the holy one of israel and he's always there available where who to whom you can reach out and ask for help.
