Transcript: Understanding God's Plan: Why We Don't Have All Details

The reason God doesn't give you all the details is not because He wants to make your life uncertain and miserable. It's because He doesn't want you to be going on your own way. He doesn't want to lose you. He wants to have you in fellowship with Him. And that will happen only when you keep talking with Him and say, God, I don't know what my next day holds. I don't know when you're going to give me the surprise. but I'm going to choose to be in a place of expectation knowing that my God whom I serve, He's going to do something amazing. That's what He's expecting. He doesn't give you all the details because He wants you to depend on Him in every step. He wants you to look up to Him whether to take a left or a right. He doesn't want you to go your own way. The whole idea is He wants to have a relationship with you.
