This is the Lord's Day, Sunday, September the 3rd, I believe. I had the privilege of pastoring eight Southern Baptist churches. I consider myself definitely a conservative Southern Baptist. we're not perfect no one is but that's the way that I believe I believe the King James Version of the Bible so we have a lot to pray about everyone that's sick we do rejoice in the news that we heard a couple of weeks ago I believe that Seth McKinney who had cancer of the lungs is now cancer-free. Seth and Michelle, and they own a cafe, Country Cafe in Spruce Pine area near Walmart, right in that same area, big shopping area there, Country Cafe. Go by and get yourself a good... a home-cooked meal, and they will treat you right. I've had the privilege of being their pastor for 20 years, and they come out of a fine family, and they're fine people, for Seth and Michelle McKinney and all of their families and friends and loved ones and everyone who were praying for Randy Kent. You know, he had surgery at Duke and everything went very well. He's going to have the other tube opened up. That's this tube up through here or the carotid artery. And so be much in prayer for Randy Kent and his wife Shane and all their family and his brother Sammy Kent up near Washington, D.C. Pray for all these folks. Lift them up. Pray. The Bible said you have not because you ask not. So let's pray. Heavenly Father I thank you for all of your many wonderful blessings of life Thank you oh God for caring enough about every human being that you gave your only begotten son and allowed him to die and suffer and be humiliated and take on himself the sins of all humanity and paid the price for it. Thank you, Almighty God, for loving us, for staying on the cross. And when you cried out, it is finished, thank God he was saying the price has been paid. It is finished. and he defeated Satan, the serpent. There on the cross, he was dead. He absolutely was dead. He's a dead man. He was taken down, put in a new sepulcher, a grave. Three days later, God the Father, Jehovah, raised him from the dead, and he was seen of many, up to 500 at one time. Thank you, O God, for your life of Jesus Christ, for your life, your resurrection, your ascension, and your promise. You said, I'm coming back. This is the way that I went. You'll see me coming back in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye. Thank you, Jesus. I pray for all these sick and afflicted. Lord, that according to your perfect will, you will touch and heal and raise up every sick person. Be with all of those. I pray for preacher Eric Proctor and his wife, Wendy, as they continue an excursion on a ship to Alaska. It was provided by their family. And you pray for them for a safe journey. and this is Labor Day weekend. Many people will be traveling. Lord, I pray for every person, every person that's on the highway, byways or wherever they're at. I pray and ask for their life, their health, their safety and well-being. And Lord, I just pray that you will continue to bless brighterdaybaptistchurch.com as it goes out to all the world. Today, my heart is heavy for the people of China who are under the burden of the Chinese Communist Party. I pray, oh God, for great and mighty miracles in that country that Zijing will, he's going to go down the road that Pharaoh went if he does not fall on his knees and accept you as his Savior. May your will be done. And thank you in Jesus' name I pray. Amen and amen. All right. I want to continue. This is part two. We preached part one. last week. How long will you wait? How long will you wait? I'm going to read the same scripture that I read, started out with the book of Exodus, chapter 10, verse 3. And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh and said unto him Thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me Let my people go, that they may serve me. How long is it going to, what all is it going to take for you to humble yourself and understand that I am God and there is none other. All the gods of Egypt are just names and some kind of a statue. There are no gods. and the gods of Russia and Iran and all these, Syria, Turkey. All the gods are false gods. There is only one God, and that is the Lord God Almighty. And we don't understand it, but I will tell you, God is manifested in three persons. Almighty God, the Father, Jehovah. almighty God the son Jesus Christ almighty God the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit they're the same three in one one in three we don't understand it don't even just believe it that that's the Holy Trinity and that Jesus Christ was his he was a son of man but he was the son of God And he was God. He is God. And the question that he told Moses and Aaron, God did, go in and ask Pharaoh, How long? How long are you going to put up with this? And the land of Egypt is already destroyed because he hardened his heart against God. would not let the children of Israel go, and God didn't have to create any kind of a mighty this or that or whatever. He just used, he called it his army. It was flies, and it was lice, and it was frogs, and it was hail, big chunks of hail falling out of the sky, and it was total pitch darkness, so dark you could feel it, and it was turning the water into blood. All of this was God just doing this, doing that. He didn't have to strain. He didn't have to try to figure it out, but Egypt, this Pharaoh, he was a dictator, and If you said anything out of the way, he could have your head whacked off. But all of the things that Moses and Aaron said would happen would happen. Like everything was full of frogs. The bed was full of frogs. The kitchen was full of frogs. The stove was full of frogs. The living room, every place in the house, everywhere you went, there was full of frogs. frogs frogs frogs and pharaoh sent for moses and aaron and said if you will ask god to remove the frogs then i will let the people go and and they said okay and then he lied and would would not let the people go and so god sent something else now listen here is in this same chapter i'm using the same scripture that I did last Sunday because it is so important How much longer are you going to wait to get right with God Now listen. In the book of Exodus, again, chapter 10, verse 7. And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, how long shall this man be a snare unto us how long are we going to have to put up with this now listen they further said let the men go that they may serve the lord their god don't know us not or know us don't you know yet that egypt is destroyed every green thing every tree ever every herb, everything that anything could eat. And then the locust, the form of locusts, like has never been seen before. They eat up everything, every blade of grass. There was nothing green. And Egypt was destroyed because they refused, the Pharaoh refused to humble his heart before Almighty God. And I'm going to ask you, how much longer will you put it off? How much longer will you say, not now. You know, the Bible says, I believe it's in the Psalm, one of the Psalms, there is no God, but it's in actual translation. It means, it says, There is no God for me. You don't have time to even think about God. You're too busy. You're too busy trying to get this. You want this. You want this. You want this. Well, I'm going to tell you something. All the things of this world will fade away. and there are people who thereafter they want more land. Someone said, I don't want much. I just want what joins me. Well, the whole world joins you. But have you ever thought how many people owned that same property that you owned before you came along? Yeah. So, how many people have owned that procrastination? That's just a big word for putting it off, put it off, put it off. I will later. I will. I will. But when you wake up in hell, and you will if you keep putting it off, I'm asking you, please accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. Ask him to come in and save your soul. My, how do you die when you can live? I'm going to say it again. I did last Sunday. I know some of you say, you sound like you're mad. I am. I'm mad at Satan. I hate Satan. I hate the snake. I hate the serpent. Look at all you people that you've never asked Jesus to save your soul. You better do it. You better do it. You better humble your heart and do it. I pray that you will. In Jesus' name, amen.
