Music Music Jesus made a profound statement in John chapter 15 verse 19 when he said, If you belong to the world, it would love you as its own. And as it is, you do not belong to the world. But listen to this, please. I have chosen you out of the world. Now, we're going to get right into this word today and go right to the core and the root of the matter of what is on the Lord's heart and what concerns Him dearly and greatly these days. dearly because many, many of his children are at risk in perishing and greatly because the enemy is on the prowl and God's people overall are oblivious as to what is happening in the world today as prophesied in Matthew 24 when Jesus says, watch out that no one deceives you. Now many Christians as I said are oblivious as to what is happening on the world scene overall and moreover and most importantly spiritually they are neglectful in watching over the state and the condition of their own souls. Jesus said also in Matthew 24, warning about the end times, that people will be preoccupied with the world and life in general, as they were in the days of Noah. The message I wish to impart in this word today is found in 2 Corinthians 6.16. And the word declares, For we are the temple of the living God, even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them, and I will walk in and with and among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people. Verse 17. So come out from among unbelievers, and separate and sever yourselves from them, says the Lord, and touch not any unclean thing, then I will receive you kindly and will treat you with favor. And I will be a father to you and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. You see, verse 17 is a command that says, Come out from among them and separate yourselves from them. Come out from among them is a statement that says, come out from among the idolaters and the unbelievers and from every superficial, sinful, and perverse thing in this empty world that belongs to Satan, the devil. You must come to see that the world is vicious because it is influenced by Satan and his hordes of hell. And there are people who purport to be a Christian who mock and ridicule and contemptuously put down and badger those who do attempt to live in compliance to God's holy word and command. In 2 Corinthians 6.17 again, which declares, So come out from among unbelievers and separate, sever yourselves from them, says the Lord and touch not any unclean thing and I will receive you and treat you kindly with my favor and I will be a father to you and you shall be my sons and daughters says the Lord Almighty. Well God is saying come out of Babylon and do not touch the unclean and the vile things which belong to Satan. These people who mock and ridicule say we can't come out of the world how could we come out of the world when we're a part of it and they also are ones who mock and say ah we can't be perfect they say this because they really like the world and what it has to offer they love looking like the world acting like the world and behaving like the world Jesus commanded also that we be perfect like his Father in heaven is perfect. But unregenerate purporting Christians who are ignorant of what God says do not know that to be perfect means that we are to grow in maturity in this Christian way of life. And this was a command from Christ himself. So how dare we, who claim to wear the title of Christian, which means a follower of Christ, if you claim to be a believer in Jesus Christ, how dare we then say that we can't be perfect or to come out of the world is not right? How dare we contradict the word of God? who are we but mere creatures of clay so if we claim to be a believer in Christ then we will be imitating and reflecting his likeness his character his purity his modesty his honesty and sincerity and you'll be united with him in oneness Jesus also said in John 10 27 The sheep that are my own are listening to my voice. And I know them. And they follow me. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. They follow me. Now listen. To follow Christ and listen to him means that you will hear and you will obey his commandments. and Jesus knows those who are his because they go where his spirit and his providence leads them and they will yield themselves to his guidance and seek desperately to be led by him. Therefore, the name and title of Christian means to be a follower of Christ. True Christians are ones who truly follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They are not Christians in name only. To be a follower of Christ means that you will obey his word and submit entirely to him. Revelation 14.4 declares, These are those who have not defiled themselves by relations with women, for they are pure as virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These are they who have been ransomed, they've been purchased and redeemed from among men as firstfruits for God and the Lamb. No lie was found upon their lips, for they are blameless, they're spotless, untainted, without blemish before the throne of God. These verses get right to the heart of the matter in describing what a Christian looks and acts like. Here in these beautiful verses, we have one of the most awesome, most descriptive sights that can be seen and visualized with Jesus Christ as head of his church and his faithful followers who represent his true church. that is, individual members of his body, who took him at his word on the earth by holding it dear to their hearts and denied themselves of worldly vices and every abomination, that is, every shameful, vile, or detestable thing that Satan presented to them. They hated anything that was impure and perverse. they had not defiled themselves with women means that they remained pure and had not tainted or trained themselves to let their minds and their hearts wander when looking upon another to where impure or sexual thoughts or desires rose up which leads to the physical act of adultery or fornication. spiritual adultery is symbolic of one who professes to be a follower of Christ but yet are ones who remain faithless and unholy because they profane Christ's name by way of their attachment to worldly entertainments such as movies and videos and games and TV and technology and sports parties and travel and the busyness of life with people, places and things and all of these are put first in people's lives to where they neglect the number one responsibility in their lives and that is to love the Lord their God with all of their hearts all of their souls all of their minds their entire being spiritual adultery is worshipping or putting first all of the above mentioned before putting Christ first and honoring he and his father in daily and continual worship and heartfelt devotion. And if the latter does not happen in a professing Christian's life, then they will only be living a lie and will be known in heaven as pretenders of the faith. Pretenders of the faith are called an adulterous generation, which means they were unholy and faithless in an apostate church who deceived themselves right into hell. They compromised God's truth to fit their carnal passions and desires. They toyed with God's grace once it came into their hearing. And these are those in every generation who stand before the great and the mighty judge Jesus Christ and hear, get away from me, I never knew you. Because they did not take the time while they had breath on the earth to come to him, to know him. But those who truly follow him are purifying their hearts by obeying his every command and living a life that is truly honorable and pleasing to him without compromise, without mental assent, without presumption, without sympathizing with evil, without adapting to this world's vile system or ways. And this is why they are considered pure and chaste. They have the name written on their foreheads. Listen to what Revelation 14.1. In Revelation 14.1, what it has to say about the true followers who honorably follow the Lamb. Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb stood on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 men who had his name and his father's name inscribed on their foreheads. These are sealed in Christ. They cannot be touched or harassed by the evil one. They endured through every trial and remained faithful. They became one with Christ. They're married to him. And the seal is their distinguishing badge. His name was written on their foreheads. They made a bold and an open confession and profession of their love and faith in God and his son Jesus Christ. their words were pure and sincere without deceit and fraudulence in their confession and they're known and approved by heaven and their love and their attention was followed by a song in their heart which was unknown and yet secret to others and others might endeavor to repeat or copy this divine or supernatural song but they remain strangers on the outside looking in, in God's eyes and his sight. And these had the character, the faith, the purity in spirit that delighted the very heart of God. And they are described as those who kept themselves undefiled by the world. They were not spiritual adulterers. They are virgins who in spirit were pure and chaste like the dove with their eyes only fixed and their love, their eyes and their love fixed on the object of their faith who was none else but Jesus Christ, the author and the finisher of their faith. As we grow and we peer into God's word and we study this wonderful and enlightening truth it is supernatural dear ones it's divine and it begins to bring about a wonderful change in your heart and as you learn this beautiful truth and understand it personally that God is speaking to me through his word you come to love the truth that God speaks to your heart And before long you find yourself being enveloped in his love and his presence. And you find yourself wanting to please him. And you find your joy and peace comes only from him. Because, because, because of your submission and obedience in obeying what he tells you to do in his word. This command in 2 Corinthians 6.17, which declares, Come out from among unbelievers and separate yourselves or sever yourselves from them, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, then I will receive you kindly and treat you with favor. Now this command to come out of Babylon and not touch any unclean and vile thing which belongs to Satan, if heeded, will invoke the kindness and the favor of God in your life. Verse 17 in our scripture in the latter part says, I will receive you kindly and treat you with favor, says the Lord. I'll be a father to you and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. You see, Babylon represents the world. And even though we live in the world, we're not to be a part of the world. And the command to not touch any unclean or vile thing means that you will separate yourself from vain, from idolatrous, from filthy, perverse attachments. and you will be watchful and careful in your thoughts, your thought life, in your words, in what you say and your deeds and also what you lay your eyes on and what you incline your ears to hear. You and I, if we call ourselves Christian, are to be separated from the world and all of its corrupting influences, and we are actually called to loathe all of Satan's evil temptations. Touching no unclean thing tells us that we are to be pure and have absolutely no connection to anything vile, vain, and polluted, such as sexy, indecent, and lewd fashions, which excite and incite sexual, sensual, obscene passions in others. And I'm afraid there are many professing Christians in name only who sit in pews every Sunday who will stand before their judge one day and will be sentenced to hell because of their indecent and sensual dress. not only dragging it into the church week after week, but wearing it in the workplace and at home because it is fashionable in today's time. God commands that women, men too, dress decently and modestly. Being pure also means that we will not desire to see movies, videos, or partake of games that have pornography, that are violent, full of sex and foul language. Being pure means that we will not commit adultery or fornicate. Well, the word says to look upon another with a lustful passion or fantasies is being guilty of the act of adultery or fornication already. And being pure means that you will not covet or desire those things that demand your time or attention. Covetousness is defined by the Bible dictionary as being a very grave or serious sin. And this means that Satan puts on people's heart desire to have things which include the materialistic things or material things, which include larger cars, houses, bigger bank accounts, entertainment, riches, which include wealth and status, titles, And today, the unsationable desire to have all the technology, the new devices and gadgets that are constantly being updated and invented and advertised as a must-have, gotta have it. And young people are victims of this technology. and Christian parents are guilty of allowing this sinful practice of keeping up with the Joneses, so to speak, so that their child will not be left out of the race to show them just as affluent as the boy or the girl next door. Young children or young Christian adults soon become responsible for the salvation of their own souls when it comes to putting the brakes on and saying, these are not eternal things, and I will take nothing with me out of this world when I depart it. Covetousness is inordinate or extreme love of money and also the desire to have more than one possesses. In many cases, this unsationable appetite Appetite seeks and finds ways to have what they want. And many feel their desire to have more by dishonest gain, which leads to people stealing and lying and manipulating people to have what they want to have. Covetousness is such a grave and serious sin that scriptures class it among the most serious of sins. Ephesians 5 verse 3 please. Ephesians 5 verse 3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness let it not be once named among you as it is fitting and proper among saints, God's consecrated people. Now another word for covetousness is called greed or greediness. In Colossians 3.5 it is called idolatry. Colossians 3.5 So kill, deaden, deprive of power The evil desire lurking in your members, those animal impulses and all that is earthy in you, that is employed in sin, in sexual vice, impurity, sensual appetites, unholy desires. And listen to this. All greed and covetousness. for that is an idolatry the deifying of self and other created things instead of God ranked among everything that is impure in the eyes of God covetousness and greed listed among those things employed in our bodily members that have these insatiable appetites to have more, want more. And it's fit in right with fornication, adultery, impurity, sensual desires, appetites, unholy desires. Covetousness leads to departure of the faith. Did you hear that? Covetousness leads to departure of the faith. It is the root of many other sins. It leads, as I said, to lying, to disagreement, to lust, to argument, and eventually to murder. Look with me please opening your Bibles to Proverbs 15 verse 27 Proverbs 15 verse 27 The Word declares He who is greedy or covetous for unjust gain that means that which he or she does not have, troubles his own household. So this is saying that this monstrous greedy appetite that wants more and more will cause trouble in their own household. And these kinds of people are a torment to themselves and their own families by having such greediness and ravenous fascination with more and more stuff that bottom line, it is a curse from Satan and fueled by his demons until that individual puts his foot down on the neck of the devil and says, No more, Satan! I will not be controlled by you any longer. I am a follower of Jesus Christ in him whom my soul craves. I crave his truths and long after his righteousness and purity. Dear church, covetousness does not fit anywhere into God's holy ways of being pure. Not one place does it fit in. Being pure means also that we will not engage in conversation that is filthy or foul or vile or sinful or sleazy of any kind. And being pure means that we will tell the truth at all times. It means we will not tell a half-truth in order to pull the wool over someone's eyes, in order to keep our image, or to save face, or get by with something. Now let me say, a half-truth is the most dangerous because it is the most seductive form of delusion. And for homework, those of you who do not know what delusion is, I suggest that you learn and you study that word. The half-truth which is presented usually excludes the suspicion of deception. A lie is a lie. A half-truth is deceptive and God's word says all liars deserve eternal death. Being a true Christian means then that we are to avoid all unholy contact with the vain and polluted world. We are not to have a close connection with an idolater or unholy person. We are not to be unequally yoked. An idolater is someone who turns away from God because of other interests that capture and steal their attention and attraction to God, their creator. The things or persons that these turn to are their idols. and they are known as an idolater. An idolater or an unholy person is one who fits into the category of a list that I have just mentioned. Now, how many people who call themselves Christians fit into this category and sit in the pews of churches every week? ignore the promptings and unctions of the Holy Spirit by hardening their hearts to Him when all He is endeavoring to do is interest and draw them unto the one true and eternal God who desires to bring them in this exciting and the divine and supernatural truths and ways that make up His everlasting kingdom where He can demonstrate His love and his joy and his peace in their hearts and their lives while they journey through this life on earth. In our opening scripture today, in John 15, verse 19, Jesus said, I've chosen you. I've selected you out of the world. Christ's followers are always described as a peculiar or different people and even treasured possessions. And this is because they are not of the world and do not partake of its evil offerings as we have been covering and speaking about in this word today. Christ's followers are separated from the world. And Jesus said again, I have chosen you out of the world. and this separation is called separation from sin. This separation actually manifests itself in being true to Christ's commands and demonstrates a joyful obedience and submission to His commands. And it's actually being at one with God and close agreement with His Word and maintaining close fellowship with Him and enjoying a life of a holy love and internal and eternal joy beyond description. You are actually not your own anymore. And you'll love it this way. Because you've been bought with the price and you know the value and costliness of that price. And you will die for the one whose name means costly. You no longer wish to participate in the futile and empty enjoyments of Satan's system. He no longer has claim on your life. You're free because you live in Christ and your love is fixed on him and not on people, places, or things. Satan hates people like this with a passion. But he cannot touch them because God has his mark upon them and that means his protection surrounds them as well. And this means when all this is taking place in your life, that you've answered the call to holy living. and you have agreed with your master when he called you out of the world and invited you to separate yourself from every sinful desire and deed and you've sown seeds of righteousness into your heart and you know that God's election rests upon you and in time of need you know that you will reap his mercy. Those who choose to live a life of sin and rebellion are heirs of his wrath and they walk in the darkness believing the lies of the evil one. And these roam with other wild beasts upon the desolate places and are trapped in the web of vanity and pride. You see, when Christ gave you the call and chose you out of the world, you agreed to devote your life to him in a life of purity, instead of a life of slavery to sin. This was God's goodness and his mercy being revealed to you. And your part was to agree to be in compliance with his commands. You see, it is the call of Christ alone that makes a distinction amongst God's true and devoted people. Abraham once he received the call of God the word tells us he believed and he obeyed God hallelujah and he did this because listen to this he did it because he knew that he was called he knew that he was called he didn't say manana or tomorrow or chew bubble gum and blow bubbles in God's face he knew he was called and he was called not because he was more handsome or better or special or smarter than others, but because it pleased God to call him and not others. That's why he was called. Look at 1 Corinthians 1.26, please. 1 Corinthians 1.26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put shame to the wise. And God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty and the base things of the world and the things which are despised. God has chosen in the things which are not to bring to nothing the things that are. Verse 29. that no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him you are in Jesus Christ who became for us wisdom from God. And in righteousness and sanctification and redemption, that is, as it is written, he who glories, let him glory in the Lord. Just as it pleased God to call Abraham, it pleased God to call you out of the world also and the church of the living God consists of those who are called out of the world and demonstrate the true fruit of his spirit the call of Abraham is a pattern or a type of the call of the church which is found again in 2 Corinthians 6.16 2 Corinthians 6.16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said, I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God and they will be my people. Verse 17 Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you. I'll be a father to you and you will be my sons and daughters says the Lord Almighty you see self-denial is the foundation and proof of all Christian profession let me say that again and may the word go deep in your hearts self-denial is the foundation and the proof of all sincere profession. Abraham began his walk and demonstrated his self-denial and his agreement of his call from God by walking in the highest and greatest examples of faith that earned him the title of the father of multitudes. And Jesus gives insight into the scripture that parallels Abraham's example of dying to self and all earthly passions, and it's found in Matthew 10, verse 37. We're just really going through the word today, aren't we? He who loves and takes more pleasure in father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. And he who loves and takes more pleasure in son or daughter more than in me is not worthy of me. Verse 38, And he who does not take up his cross and follow me, that means cleave steadfastly to me, conforming wholly to my example in living, and if need be in dying, also is not worthy of me. Verse 39, whoever finds his lower life will lose it, the higher life, and whoever loses his lower life on my account will find it in the higher life. Well, Jesus also speaks another example of what our faith requires in dying to Satan's system of greed. that means covetousness, lust, and carnal passions, and it amounts to this just as stated in the scripture that we have just read. And this one is found in Matthew 16, verse 24. Matthew 16, verse 24. Then Jesus said to his disciples, If anyone desires to be my disciple, let him deny himself, disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interest, and take up his cross and follow me, and cleave steadfastly to me, conform wholly to my example, and living if need be, and dying also. Verse 25. For whoever is bent on saving his temporal life, his comfort and security here, shall lose it. And whoever loses his life, for my sake, shall find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life, that is, his blessed life in the kingdom of God? Or what would a man give as an exchange for his blessed life in the kingdom of God? You see, if you desire or intend to have the faith of Abraham in answering the call to come out of the world and wish to demonstrate the fruit and receive the blessings and the protection of God, you must lay the foundation of it in the abandonment of all things that preoccupy your attention, your desires, and your focus. There are no rights or titles or anything that you possess that can dictate against the righteousness and the purity of God. because of Abraham's united and devoted love for his God and his complete and unyielding obedience and submission to God. God gave Abraham in his posterity uncountable, untold millions and millions of spiritual sons and daughters for which he is rewarded with the title Father of the Faithful or Father of Multitudes. What a reward, dear church. What a reward. For you and me today, it is faith alone in Jesus Christ that gives our souls the satisfaction in future rewards in the midst of our present difficulties and distresses. And you see, this is so with Abraham. In the whole course of his journey, while he lived on the earth, He attained nothing of his promised inheritance. But look at what he is enjoying today. Seeing multitudes of faithful saints entering, hallelujah, into the gates of heaven every day. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. When Jesus said, I have selected you or I've chosen you, you out of the world. This is again saying, I have chosen or hand-selected you to come out of the world and be separated from a society that belongs to Satan's worldly system and be placed under the government of my holy commands and laws. so when Jesus stated these words in John 15 19 he also gave the assurance that is given by divine promise that this would be sufficient enough to keep us in the most difficult times in our lives on this road of obedience just as he provided for Abraham who is called the father of the faithful now I've rather intended this word today to be a word of alarm for some a word of encouragement for others and still others a word to draw them forth in desiring the life of purity that comes only by living in Christ as he has called you out of the world and given the command not to touch any unclean thing. And if you could enter heaven today you will find that Jesus attracts every eye and fills every heart with his love beyond what we could ever imagine or fathom. And being called and chosen to come out of the world, there should be some degree of the same inspiration of Christ's love filling your hearts and drawing you nearer and nearer to him every day. The impressions of his love that makes upon your heart is very powerful if this is happening in your life presently. And the impressions of hope and faith cause you to press on and press in until you reach your eternal heavenly home. The impression that he produces in your heart to listen to him and deny yourself, to pick up your own cross, drives you onward with a willingness to follow the Lamb wherever he goes. you see we live in a world today that is teetering on the brink of collapse and soon Christ's words in Matthew 24 and warning of wars and rumors of war and the end of time is right upon us should shake us should awaken us should be a rude and stark awakening within our souls to say oh God what is the condition of my soul oh Lord Show me, I pray, O God. Shake all that could be shaken within me. Because it's a matter of life and death. As Christians, we dare not be neglectful of caring for and being responsible for the condition of our souls. And Jesus says he will come like a thief in the night. And that means that he will come suddenly upon those who know him not. And put off what they should do today in the preparation. of preparing for eternal life. Let me leave you with wise words of our chief apostle Paul when he spoke in Colossians 3 verse 1. Please go with me there today too. Colossians 3 verse 1. Since then you have been raised with Christ. Set your heart on the things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above and not on earthly things. Verse 3 For you died and your life is now hidden with Christ and God. Verse 4 And when Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Verse 5 Put to death therefore whatever belongs to your earthly nature. sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these the wrath of God is coming soon. You used to walk in these ways in the life you once lived, but now you must rid yourselves of all such things and as these anger and rage and malice, slander and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in the knowledge and the image of its creator. Dear ones, let us not live by the sight of our eyes and the desires of our hearts. Let us not incline our ears to hear the evil things that are a part of Satan's evil system. and let us not desire to have wealth and the riches of this world but instead the wealth that is found in God's holy book and found or called the book of life and it's found also as a treasure in Jesus Christ his son and let us not live for the world nor after the fashions of the world but let us live for Jesus Christ and learn to follow the Lamb of God who called us out, who handpicked us to come out of the evil world. And finally, wrapping up our scripture in Colossians 3, dropping down to verse 12. Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, with kindness and humility, gentleness and patience. Verse 13, bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all of these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Verse 15, let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts. Since as members of one body, you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, as you sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Verse 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Hallelujah. and Amen. The The title of this message today is called Why the World Hates Christians Only for prayer purposes do I look at the news periodically today. It seems what we see are the same ongoing headlines which scream out the failing economical and financial collapse of a great nation which is called America the Beautiful. The collapse of America is not by fluke or by accident, but rather has been strategically designed and orchestrated by sick and demented minds from every nation in this world for a number of years to bring about what is called the New World Order. As a true believer in Jesus Christ, You must understand that scripture prophesied this final event happening in the end days. Jesus foretold this whole event in Matthew's Gospel, chapter 24. My husband and Lee and I are appalled when we visit with professing Christians in leadership wherever we go, And we find out that they have never heard of this worldwide conspiracy, an evil plan of an extremely powerful and influential group of individuals in the highest echelon of government, in politics, and yes, even in well-known religious groups or leaders, whose goal is to create a one-world religious order through an organization called the Ecumenical Movement, which is a modern-day apostate movement. The Ecumenical Movement places great emphasis in the Church today on uniting professing Christians of all denominations and beliefs. May I present Archbishop Kajan Barsemian, primate of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church in America. According to ecumenical protocol, the Eastern Orthodox would be first in order, as they are, of course, first in priority in the Catholic Church's ecumenical responsibility. The Lord, Mr. National Archbishop, I.C.N. Akashic, the Legate and Ecumenical Officer of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church in America, and President of the National Council of Churches in America. May I present Dr. Donald McCoy, representing the providing Bishop Mark Hansen of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. May I present Bishop Jeremiah J. Park, Bishop of the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Your Holiness may I present Reverend Wesley Granberg Michelson the General Secretary of the Reformed Church in America Your Holiness, may I present Reverend Dr. Clifton Kirkpatrick, the stated clerk of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in the United States. Your Holiness, may I present Reverend Dr. William J. Shaw, President of the National Baptist Convention, United States. Your Holiness, may I present Bishop James Leggett, General Superintendent of the International Pentecost Holiness Church. Your Holiness, may I present Dr. Leith Anderson, President of the National Association of Evangelicals. Your Holiness, may I present Bishop David H. Benke, President of the Atlantic District of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. Your Holiness, may I present Reverend Dr. A.R. Bernard, Sr., President of the Council of Churches of the City of New York. Your Holiness, may I present Elder Bernice A. King, daughter of the civil rights leaders Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. Your Holiness, may I present Reverend Jimmy Song Jilim, Executive Director of the Council of Churches of the City of New York. Your Holiness, may I present the right Reverend Mark Sisk, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of New York. The good-sounding but deceiving message is that we are all not so different from one another after all, and we can work together and be unified in our efforts. This movement is spearheaded by Satan the devil through workers of iniquity. Go with me please in our first scripture today, opening in 2 Corinthians 6.14. 2 Corinthians 6.14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness? Verse 15. What harmony can there be between Christ and Belial the devil? Or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? What agreement can there be between a temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God, even as God said, I will dwell in and with and among them and will walk in and with and among them. And I will be their God and they shall be my people. Verse 17. So come out from among them, unbelievers, and separate, sever yourselves from them, says the Lord. and touch not any unclean thing and I will receive you kindly and treat you with favor and I will be a father to you and you shall be my sons and daughter said the Lord God Almighty. The goal of the New World Order agenda in the One World Church will demand strict obedience to their plan or program. Their intention is in effect to take complete and total control over every human being on the earth and to drastically and dramatically reduce the world's population by 5.5 billion people. Behind it all and steering this whole operation is the oldest term commonly referred to as the 13 bloodline families and their offshoots known as the Illuminati. They make up the major portion of this controlling elite. Most members of the Illuminati are also members of the highest rank of numerous secretive and occultic societies, which in many cases extend straight back to the ancient world. They have a structural pyramid of planning committees and organizations which the public has little or no knowledge of. In 1992, Dr. John Coleman published The Conspirator's Hierarchy. It is the story of the Committee of 300. With laudable scholarship and meticulous research, Dr. Coleman identifies the players and carefully details the Illuminati's agenda of worldwide domination and control. On page 161 of the Conspirators' Hierarchy, Dr. Coleman accurately summarizes the intent and purposes of the Committee of 300 as follows. He says, A one-world government under permanent, non-elected hereditary government by a few who self-select from among their numbers in the form of a feudal system as it was in the Middle Ages. in this one world entity population will be limited by restrictions on the number of children per family, by disease, wars, famines, until one billion who are useful to the ruling class in areas which will be strictly and clearly defined remain as a total world population. Dr. Coleman goes on to say, There will be no middle class, only rulers and the servants. All laws will be uniform under a legal system of world courts practicing the same unified code of laws backed up by a one world government, police force, and a one world unified military to enforce laws in all former countries where no national boundaries shall exist. the system will be on the basis of a welfare state those who are obedient and subservient to the one world government will be rewarded with the means to live those who are rebellious will be starved to death or be declared outlaws and thus a target for anyone who wishes to kill them privately owned firearms or weapons of any kind will be prohibited end of quote today we see the governing elites predominance of their idols being set up through the dominance and advocation of atheism humanism and communistic controls which have become mainstream and now accepted by most in every nation across this planet there is a radical and moving contest for the hearts and souls and the minds of Americans to where we now face the formidable opponents in our government, liberals who have occupied the seats of authority in the White House and have done much damage to our rights laid out in the Constitution. These people have proved themselves to be what they really are, and that is traitors to their nation. by the promotion of liberalism, Satanism, gross perversion, and promoting hatred for Jesus Christ and his followers through imposing new laws which are diametrically opposite of the laws which have been in effect since the time of our founding fathers. With Christian rights being stripped and threatened from without and within, this group of intelligent, well-dressed gobalists are convincing millions of Americans and other nations in the world that the only way to lasting peace is through the establishment of what is called the New World Order. There was a man whose name is Marcus Tullius, Cicero, born on January 3rd, 106 BCE. He was murdered on December 7, 43 BCE, for his political stance against the Roman Empire, and who said it in the best in relation to those who turned traitor on their own country and fellow countrymen. Quote, he says, A nation can survive fools and even the ambitious, but it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves along those within the gate freely. His sly whispers rustling through the alleys heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not as a traitor. He speaks in the accents familiar to his victims and he wears their face and their garments and he peels to the baseness that lies within the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation. He works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city. He infects the body political so that it can no longer exist. a murderer is less to be feared end of quote and let me say and preface the ultimate goal and aim of this new world order this secret society called the Illuminati is to eradicate and wipe out the inheritance of God Almighty and also all memory of his holy writings and his son Jesus Christ this is their ultimate goal the battle is between light and darkness and always has been from the beginning the inheritance of our Lord Jesus Christ consists of those who are true disciples and followers of him this is really the battle precious ones and it's been going on since our first parents Adam and Eve revolted against God in the garden when they disobeyed him by eating that one forbidden fruit. And ever since that day, Satan has been cleverly deceiving and destroying the masses of humankind with this caging means of deception. This is truly a battle, as I said, between light and darkness, or said in another way, a battle between good and evil. Jesus said in John's gospel in chapter 15 verse 18 If the world hates you know that it first hated me before it hated you The world represents Satan and his air and death and darkness whereas Jesus and his true followers represent the light and the truth of the gospel and we must understand of course that the world is the object and the motivation of the creation and of God's love and his son, Jesus Christ, saving mission of eternal life. Please go with me to John 3, verse 16. John 3, verse 16. For God so loved the world and dearly prized the world that he even gave up his only begotten son so that whoever believes and trusts and clings and relies to him shall not perish, shall not come to destruction or be lost, but have eternal everlasting life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge, to reject, to condemn, or pass sentence on the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through him. And also please, John chapter 17, verse 21. You see, true followers of Jesus are in the world, but they do not belong to the world. The world hates Jesus and his disciples because they do not belong to it. The world loves only those who belong to it. They see eye to eye to all of the things that the world has to offer. Jesus said in our opening scriptures again in John 15 verse 18, If the world hates you, know that it hated me before it hated you. and if you belong to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own but because you're not of the world, no longer one with it I've chosen you, I've selected you out of the world and the world hates you remember what I've told you a servant is not greater than his master, is not superior to him if they persecuted me, they will also persecute you if they kept my word and obeyed my teachings they will also keep and obey yours. Verse 21 But they will do all of this to you to inflict all this suffering on you because of your bearing my name and on my account for they do not know or understand the one who sent me. And if I had not come and spoken to them they would not be guilty of sin would be blameless but now they have no excuse for their sin. Verse 23 Whoever hates me also hates my father. if I had not come and accomplished the works among them which no one else ever did they would not be guilty of sin but the fact is now they have both seen these works and have hated both me and my father but this is so that the word written in their law might be fulfilled they hated me without cause you see Jesus clearly defines here the difference between two kingdoms Satan's kingdom is that of hatred and clever deception. And Christ's kingdom is that of love and truth. Hopefully, you can see and have previously learned through hearing the truth of God's word, that God is love. God gave us his all, dear church. When God gave his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, he gave us his all. Coming to Jesus through his death, his burial and resurrection, is the only way by which we might inherit eternal life through his sacrifice upon the cross. This is the ultimate sacrifice of love. Those who are in the world are full of hatred. We were all there once too. Our chief apostle tells us, Colossians chapter 1 verse 21, Although you at one time were estranged and alienated from him, and were of hostile attitude in your mind in your wicked activities, yet now has Christ the Messiah reconciled you to God in the body of his flesh through death in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in the Father's presence. Verse 23, And this he will do, provided that you continue to stay with and in the faith in Christ, well-grounded and settled and steadfast, not shifting and moving away from the hope, which rests on and is inspired by the glad tidings of the gospel, which you heard and which has been preached as being designed and offered without restriction to every person under heaven of which gospel I, Paul, became minister. Those who are unredeemed are children of this world and belong to Satan the devil. They eat from the tree of good and evil. They are totally devoted to the world and the things of the world and never give thought to a world hereafter. They're blind. They are blind. And the world demonstrates a spiteful, envious, and revengeful spirit towards anything resembling God's goodness. And this is not the spirit of Jesus Christ which motivates them, but rather it is the spirit of the world which belongs to Satan the devil. the true children of God have been called out of darkness and bear the image and likeness of God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ their Savior these eat from the tree of life and live in the light the true children of God even though they are taught to hate sin and the sin of sinners yet they do not hate the person but rather they are to love and do good unto all men. John 15, 19 declares, If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you're not of the world, I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you So if you belong to the world the world will love you Yet the world does not inquire after God even though he given them the same knowing in their inner being that he does exist Romans chapter 8 verse 7 tells us that because the mind of flesh, with its carnal thoughts and purposes, is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God's law, indeed it cannot, Verse 8, so then those who are living the life of the flesh, catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature, cannot please or satisfy God or be acceptable to him. So the world's neglect of seeking the God who created and loves them is the result of their hatred towards him and those who do love him. And not only this, but the unredeemed of the world lack spiritual perception. They cannot see beyond the nose on their face as far as their true spiritual outcome, their direction and deception. Please look with me in 1 Corinthians 2, verse 14. but the natural non-spiritual man does not accept or welcome or admit into his heart the gifts and teachings and revelations of the spirit of God for they are folly meaningless nonsense to him and he's incapable of knowing them progressively recognizing and understanding becoming better acquainted with them because they are spiritually discerned and estimated and appreciated Verse 15. But the spiritual man tries all things, examines, investigates, inquires into, questions and discerns all things. Yet is himself to be put on trial and judged by no one. He can read the meaning of everything, but no one can properly discern or appraise or get insight into him. Verse 16. For who has known or understood the mind, the counsels and purposes of the Lord? so as to guide and instruct him and give him knowledge. But we have the mind of Christ, the Messiah, and do hold the thoughts and feelings and purposes of his heart. Well, another reason the world loves things the way they are and harbors such hatred towards Christianity is because they are intoxicated with vain pleasures of the earth and they cannot imagine life any other way than the way it is for them now. The ways and teachings of Jesus seem fanatical and weak to one who is perishing. There was a 14th century politician who was an atheist and philosopher who said, if there is no God, then everything is permitted. If there is no God, then everything is permitted. we see that so much today you see pride prevents these from seeking after God even though he fills their houses with good things Job 22 verse 17 declares they say to God depart from us and what can the almighty do for or to us yet verse 18 says yet he fills their houses with good things and still they recognize him not Psalms chapter 10 verse 4 declares the wicked one in the pride of his countenance will not seek inquire and yearn for God all of his thoughts are that there is no God so he never punishes. The Bible teaches that the unredeemed of the world are held captive by Satan the devil. They are his servants and they obey him. They are his slaves and do his bidding. Because of all these reasons and more, this is the general rule by which the unsaved harbor great hatred against those who are true Christians and against the author of this way of life. They fail to see their own way of life as sinful and offensive to the one who created them and loves them and died for them in order that they may share in eternal life and thus will not see or experience the place those who hate and refuse to obey must be sent and that is to their place in hell and its torment forever and ever the world hates the things that God loves what Jesus blesses and loves the world curses the favored heirs of heaven have never been the darlings of the world since the days of old when enmity was put between the seeds of the woman and of the serpent. God shows us through the word this very fact when we see that Cain hated and killed his brother Abel because his works and offerings to God were righteous and good and pleased God. Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing and Joseph's brothers hated him because his father loved him and because he honored and reverenced the Almighty God. Saul hated David because the Lord was with him and Ahab hated Micaiah because of his convincing and condemning prophecies. Such are the causeless causes and fruit of the world's hatred. But you must remember, Jesus forewarned us of a very important fact in John's Gospel, chapter 15, verses 20 through 22, when he said, Remember that I told you, a servant is not greater than his master, is not superior to him. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. if they kept my word and obeyed my teachings they will also keep and obey yours but they will do this to all of you to inflict all this suffering on you because of your bearing my name and on my account for they do not know or understand the one who sent me if I had not come and spoken to them they would not be guilty of sin would be blameless but now they have no excuse for their sin and this is saying that the world will persecute you and me because they hate us but we are to remember that it first hated our master, dear church hatred is a restless and relentless passion it is the common lot and experience for those who will live devoted godly lives in Christ just as it was for Christ as he had to experience the hatred of the world around him when he walked the earth. 2 Timothy 3.12 declares, 2 Timothy 3.12 Indeed, all who delight in piety and are determined to live a devoted and godly life in Jesus Christ will meet with persecution, will be made to suffer because of their religious stand. but wicked men and imposters will go from bad to worse deceiving and leading astray others and being deceived and led astray themselves verse 14 but as for you continue to hold to the things that you have learned and of which you are convinced knowing from whom you have learned them now Jesus foresaw the ill treatment of his disciples that they would meet with in the world. And yet for the sake of the few that by their ministry were to be called out of the world, he sent them forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Christ's true followers will not partake of other men and women's sinful practices. And this is one reason why they are so hated by the ungodly and are found to be such a reproach to them and recipients of their hatred. The Christian cross is to be an ordinary lot to all true Christians. The malice of Satan who, knowing that himself, was cast out of heaven by the Almighty and since that time hates God with a cruel, a ruthless and unrelenting hatred. and since the Lord God is above and beyond the reach of Satan's malice he and his demons' hatred now falls upon those who are dearest to the Lord and precious to his son Jesus Christ. The Lord foresaw and he warned ahead of time of the world's hatred for his followers and this was truly a demonstration of his love for us dear church He has never left his precious people in the dark about anything. But you know, even though we are warned in advance, Christians living in the United States of America have never seen nor experienced the kind of persecution that our brothers and sisters have in nations where Christianity is forbidden and where they are murdered and even driven from their homeland to flee from one nation to another. We in the United States have endured cold looks. We may have received a cold shoulder or even rude gestures of impatience or jeers or comments, slandering, character assassination. We've even had doors shut in our faces. But as of yet, we have not had to flee from one state to another, from one country to another in fear of losing our lives. Jesus said in Matthew's gospel, chapter 10, verse 23, he said, When they persecute you in the one town, that is, pursue you in a manner that would injure you and cause you to suffer because of your belief, flee to another town. for truly I tell you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes. Should we be surprised to know that today, even in the United States, handing out gospel tracts, or preaching on a street corner, or refusing to cater in business to homosexual groups, has been growing by leaps and bounds and is now known as a, quote, hate crime and has already landed people in jail. and also they have been fined great sums of money. The government subtly hides behind the gay movement and the atheist movement who claim that the gospel hurts their feelings when they hear the truth or they see a cross on government land or monuments or see a plaque of the Ten Commandments displayed in government buildings. This is offensive to them. and since this last president has taken office the removal of these Christian reminders of our founding fathers have been systematically stripped away on the grounds that people have their feelings hurt that's all it takes today to have our constitutional rights changed is complain that your feelings have been hurt people like this will have more than their feelings hurt when they burn in hell for eternity if they do not wake up and receive the free offer of eternal life from the one who created them and died for them because he loves them this is all an underhanded communistic strategy and method to silence the gospel and stamp out those who publicly proclaim it They are accused today of being guilty of a hate crime in America. In reality, the only hate crime, dear church, is to know the gospel truth of Jesus Christ and yet fail to warn wicked evildoers of the coming judgment of God that is right at hand. Even in the face of persecution, genuine believers must not keep silent. may it be said of us who are true Christians and lovers of Jesus Christ I have believed and therefore I have spoken in 2nd Corinthians chapter 4 verse 13 Apostle Paul wrote yet we have the same spirit of faith as he who had wrote I believed and therefore I have spoken we too believe and therefore we must speak it is true that Christians have a bad reputation for being unkind intolerant, harsh, judgmental and self-righteous and oh yes uneducated but now when you speak about or live by a moral absolute you will be persecuted and attacked by people who do not want to be told how they should live, either by your words or by your example, and will accuse you of being unkind, intolerant, harsh, judgmental, and self-righteous. You know, Jesus wasn't well liked when he walked on the earth, and don't forget that he was rejected by his own people. Again, I remind you, Jesus said, if the world hates you keep in mind that it first hated me if you belong to the world it would love you as its own and as it is you do not belong to the world but I have chosen you I've chosen you out of the world and that is why the world hates you I would like to say at this point in the message today that again I remind you as entitled why the world hates Christians is ultimately because his true followers mirror the nature and character of God's holiness and righteous way of living. So many times people in the world vehemently hate Christians not because of the message of our Lord, but because of the attitude we project when we seek to convey the message of our Master. many Christians come across as harsh bang people over the head with the Bible or unfeeling self-righteous, unforgiving or defensive and intolerant people were drawn to Jesus because of his love of his understanding his patience his sensitivity and his kindness those who had ears to hear heard his life-saving message but there were still those who refused him and the message that his father had sent him to speak. And with the weak, Jesus was gentle. And with the arrogant, he was firm. And with the foolish, he was patient. And with the foxy and cunning, he was wise. But Jesus himself was never proud, never demanding, merciless or disagreeable. Far too often, well-meaning Christians are these latter descriptions of bad examples to the world. They do not mirror the real nature and character of Christ's holiness and his righteousness, which won many lost souls to himself in his day and even up to this day as well, by those who do present the gospel. truly Christ's example is the right one for us to follow as we serve our loving creator and Lord and we abandon the outward trappings of religiosity and good appearance you see these but lack the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit who will convict and convince sinners on their way to hell that they need their loving Savior's grace to redeem them from the strongholds of the evil one. Only Jesus Christ, who truly lives in us and we in him, can show and display what real compassion and kindness and wisdom and discernment and mercy will look like and accomplish as opposed to substitutes that carry no godly power to reach and save the lost and dying world. this world will continue to go on hating that which mirrors and demonstrates God's holy nature and his character, his righteous ways. But only true Christians can reflect the nature of God's loving kindness and compassion and sometimes calls for us to give our lives in the wake of demonstration of this way of life. the world reflects that which is of the nature of man and that is unhappiness murder, hatred of that which is good jealousy and envy and drunkenness lying, perverseness and so on but the true fruit of change of the redeemed is by the means of which a poor sinner has passed from death to life and now mirrors the beautiful nature and character of Jesus Christ's holiness, his purity and righteous ways to the lost around him or her. This is the ultimate reason, again I say, that the world hates us and wants to put an end to the life-giving message of the gospel truth and those who are living reminders of this righteous and upright way of life, either by their example or by the message of hope that they bring. Isaiah 52.7 declares how beautiful upon the mountain are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good tidings of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns. You see, Jesus warned us in these last days, And believe me when I say, we are definitely living in these last days, church. He warned us in Matthew's Gospel, chapter 24, verse 9. He said, they'll hand you over to suffer affliction and tribulation and put you to death. And you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. And then many will be offended and repelled and will begin to distrust and desert him whom they ought to trust and obey. and will stumble and fall away and betray one another and pursue one another with hatred. And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error. And the love of the great body of people will grow cold. Hear that? And the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity. but he who endures to the end will be saved and this good news of the kingdom the gospel will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to the nations and then will come the end Jesus also said in John 16 verse 2 they will put you out they'll expel you from the synagogues but an hour is coming when whoever kills you will think and claim that he's offered service to God and they will do all of this because they have not known the Father or me. In the book of Revelation, Revelation 2, verse 7, the Lord tells us, Fear nothing that you are about to suffer. Dismiss your dread and your fears. Behold, the devil is indeed about to throw some of you into prison and you may be tested and proved and critically appraised and for ten days you will have affliction be loyally faithful unto death even if you must die for it and I will give you the crown of life yes it is true that we are at the point in time in our nation today where we will see things happen quite quickly which will usher in these times that Jesus forewarned us of in Matthew's gospel chapter 24 and it's true also that because the world the unredeemed who live in the world do not know Jesus or the Father it cannot receive the spirit of truth because he belongs only to those who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ Jesus has overcome the world and the ruler of this world is about to be overthrown and the king of kings will fulfill the prophecy that declares that all things have been put under his feet, under Jesus' feet. And this dear church speaks of the final battle to where the devil and his cohorts will never wreak havoc on this earth ever again. We are teetering on the edge of great upheaval, specifically in this nation and every other nation is threatening war with one another and also with America. the point and objective don't miss it of this message today is to point out the fact and the ultimate reason the world hates God and his people is because his true followers live
lives in Jesus Christ and near his nature and character, which is holiness and the righteousness of God. And the world hates the reminder in those that do live in this way because it incriminates and convicts them of their own sin. Though the world hates us, we are called to remain faithful to the end and to share the gospel truth with those around us our lives are to be the letters of christ which is the very extension of his own life it is only in these ways that people will be without excuse the gospel shared with unbelievers is in reality a kindness to them and if we are negligent hear this if we are negligent and irresponsible in our responsibility as blood bought believers in Jesus then we share in the world's rejection of Christ as their savior because of ingratitude for his sacrifice and suffering and when you committed your life to Christ after repentance of your sins you signed over the right and title deed to your life and this is saying that you are no longer your own you have no legal right entitled to the old life or the old man or the old nature any longer you lost all rights of proprietorship over your life and you now belong to Jesus Christ and are blood bought by his precious sacrifice on the cross this was your first lesson in true Christianity everything in your old life that was sinful and is covered under the blood and thus entered self-denial since that moment of time and this is saying when sin presents itself as a temptation you activate self-denial by saying oh no you don't when the old nature old man desires to claim right to our existence of his own once again. You gave up your whole being to Christ, or you didn't. And you should be asking him now, Lord, what will you have me to do today? Lord, tell me and give me strength to do it. Give me discretion and discernment to do it. total ownership is what our savior is looking for in all of us and this is what he desires in all of the unsaved in the world because he knows this is the only place where they will be truly happy and find the kind of peace that surpasses all carnal understanding god only wants to bless us and do good to us he wants the best for us just as any good father or mother would want for their children. You see, it is only those who are truly sold out to Jesus Christ and
