Hello my dear brothers and sisters, a warm welcome to one and all of you and I greet you in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As always I feel very privileged and happy to be part of these sessions and I want to really really thank our dear God who had been merciful, who had been wonderful, who had been gracious. enabling these wonderful sessions, this time of fellowship is something that which money cannot buy and you and I have never earned it for free. It is because of one man's sacrifice on the cross, 1 Corinthians 6, 9 and 10 or 1 Corinthians 6, 20, which, sorry, not 1 Corinthians 6, 9 and 10, 1 Corinthians 6, 20. He shed his precious blood and he purchased you and me for a price. That's exactly what Bible says, which clearly demonstrates the sacrifice on the cross of Calvary. And you and I can never ever take that sacrifice. Jesus had to shed his precious blood for granted. And in life, definitely we go through a lot of challenges and some challenges are being permitted by God to bring that discipline, to bring that order in your life. and if there is someone listening to me, you may feel all is well with you, but actually that is not how God looks at things because there is definitely degree of difference in the way how you look at things versus how God looks at things, right? And therefore you need to really check on yourself when there is a trouble in your life, when there is a problem or an issue in your life. What is God trying to do, right? That is exactly called as shepherding. God likes to shepherd his flock and the shepherd will impose correction will instill correction will bring in discipline will will bring in some sort of order because you have been living your life in an unorderly fashion and God doesn't like that because if you are not able to put your house in order which also includes your life the bar your body is nothing but the temple of God and that life if it is not an order there are higher possibilities that you will never step into the kingdom of heaven. Why? Because the Bible says in the parable, when the devil had left a person, his house was in order. Therefore, he came back with seven other dirty devils or demons to spoil that person's life, which means when Holy Spirit enters into your life, not only your materialistic life, but also your spiritual life will be in order, right and that's why God really likes to shepherd his people. A warm welcome to this short session and interestingly the title of today's discussion is also going to be God the true shepherd. God is always the true shepherd to all of us and Bible clearly mentions that with a little paraphrase that I am going to read from Ezekiel chapter 34 verse number 11 onwards and I will be reading in bits and pieces. I will not be continuously reading but it is going to be a very short session. We will see what to do. Why is God wanting to shepherd his true people or his people that are true to him or people that are not even true to him? God really wants to shepherd. How many of us being Christians can say that we are always true to God? No, we are not always true to God. We are not always honest to God. We are not always blameless before God. There were many, many times in my own life where I had really slipped off. I have not been a true disciple in Christ. I have really got backslidden. I have been a transgressor, willingly committing certain sins. And then God will have to really work on me. Sometimes he works in soft ways. Sometimes he works really hard. he ends up you know allowing certain inflictions or certain sicknesses and he makes me think why such a thing has happened to me and then God brings the discipline in me right this is the attitude of a shepherd because the objective of the shepherd you could be a pastor you could be the head of your own family if you are the true shepherd to your people the only objective will be to save lives and to save life to save your family to save your son to save your daughter to to save your wife, to save your church. You will go to any extent, even to the extent of laying your life down as a sacrifice. That's exactly what God the Father did, sending his only son. While we were yet sinners God loved the world so much Not that God loved the sin but God loved the sinners because they were unhealthy people sick people without a physician That's exactly what Jesus told. They were like scattered sheep without a shepherd. And God was merciful and he decides to send his only son. Although he knew that his son is going to go through brutal harassments, all sort of, you know, tortures and insults. But God did not even stop himself. God did not think twice. God really thought only once. No, I need to save my people. I need to save my creations. Today, what is your attitude like? Today, what is your thought process like? You may be the head of the family. You may be a pastor. But what is your attitude like? is exactly what you need to check. And that's where we are helping through this session, which will instill a lot of limelight, which will instill a lot of light in you. Ezekiel chapter 34, verse number 41, For thus says the Lord God, Indeed, I myself will search for my sheep and seek them out. God says, I will seek for my sheep and I will find them out. seeking for sheep means what good sheep bad sheep sheep not all sheeps are innocent not all sheeps are good right not all of us are good i think most of us are bad according to the bible not even one can go to god's presence and say that i have no sin in me i have no blemish in me it simply means that we all have fallen short of glory we all have shortcomings but god is seeking for both and the principle number one that you and I can extract from this is you should not execute favoritism. If someone is good, only to those people I will talk. If someone is bad, I am going to totally ignore them. No. Actually, you got to be more compassionate towards the people that are not good, towards the people that are still in sinful deeds. Correct? And God is not partiality. He is not partial. He is not God of partiality. But he is not God of favoritism either. But he is God who is just, who is righteous and who is compassionate towards everyone. And verse number 12, Ezekiel 34, 12. So, as a shepherd seeks out his flock, sorry, on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out my sheep and deliver these from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. God says, sheep are scattered. Scattering is the key word that you and I really need to meditate a little bit. What does it exactly mean by scattering? The scattering thing comes because you are distracted. Without a distraction, there happens no scattering. And who brings this distraction? It is none other than the devil. And devil's only job is to keep your mind occupied with some or other problems, issues, fear, worry about the future, worry about the current situation. Some people are worried even about the past. You cannot go and fix the past, right? Then why are you even looking back and spending your time on the past? You and I are supposed to move ahead in life. And the only objective for the devil is to bring distractions. Therefore, the scattering thing happens between a wife and husband. Scattering happens between the parents and the children. Scattering happens between the families. Scattering happens within the church. Correct? There are a lot of divisions. Scattering brings division. Without a distraction, there is no scattering. Without scattering as a concept, there is no division. Today you will see division in the church. Right. You can definitely divide and go through healthy argument to correct each other. To instill some corrections, definitely you got to be divided. You can't simply keep nodding your head. That's called as flattering lips. You don't have to agree with everything that is told by everyone. Sometimes you have to disagree because only then you can bring that correction, that course correction. That is not wrong. That is healthy. But then people end up in lots of altercations, debates, controversies, brawls, quarrels, fights, finger pointing, complaints, grudges, hatred, revenge, avenge. All these things are described in 2 Timothy 3, 1 to 9. What is this called as? The starting point for all these conflicts is nothing but the scattering. Now scattering attitude comes through distraction Therefore you and I have to be really be careful And God is compassionate He looking out for scattered sheep And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and will bring them in their own land. I will send them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country. God gives us a promise that he is going to bring us out, for which you need to really work with God. You need to have fellowship with God and for which you also need to discover the areas where you have gone scattered, where you have gone astray, where you have gone far away from God. Bible says in James 4.8, draw yourself nearer to God. Only then he is able to draw nearer to you and me. Now, what is the opposite? The opposite is nothing but you need to find out the areas or the things or the people that have really drawn you away from God. Which is nothing but you have gone astray. You have been scattered. You have been distracted. And you need to find out. Only then you are able to allow God to bring back to that mountain. To bring back to that place. To bring you back to that destination. To again, once again, he is able to execute his divine will and plan in you. You understand? Okay. And verse number 17. I am going to skip all the remaining verses and go to verse number 17. And as for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord God, behold, I shall judge between the sheep, sorry, between sheep and the sheep, between rams and goats. He is bringing two more animals. All of them are going to look alike. How many of you know that sheeps, rams and goats, if you make them stand together, their behavior and attitude will almost look alike. But the external appearance is going to be different. These rams and goats, if you see, they are more or less like one sort of breed versus sheep. Sheep is very obedient. Yeah, it will always be looking around for its master's voice, for its master's presence. And it would not like to do things all by itself or on its own. But the sheep, but the goat and ram will always look for distraction. They'll get easily distracted. About this also you can read in Matthew chapter 25, where Jesus would have used the same example in the same connotation on the same lines. He would have told the goats will be segregated and they will be thrown into the lake of fire. Yeah. If you have that attitude of goat, you know, never paying attention to your master's voice, never turning around and checking whether God is with you, Holy Spirit is residing in you or not. Whether you are not careful enough to look for all sorts of wild animals such as the demons bringing in all sorts of wild instruments to attack you right but the sheep is very careful it will look for its master if master is not there it will not march ahead right but there are naughty sheeps here and there that's why psalm 23 is being written where he will use his staff and rod to correct yeah there are little no sheeps are not naughty but then they are little careless and what happens is some careless sheeps they will proceed towards the areas where the fox is hiding to eat them up and that time he will use his toughened rat to correct them. He will beat on the leg and he may break it and that's why you will see that good shepherd carrying that injured sheep over his shoulders and God will definitely instill those sorts of corrections to just get you and me on the right side. But you need to really categorize where you belong, whether you are the sheep category or whether you are the goat category. goats are full of distractions they care more or less for their master's voice and they don't care all that they knew and all that they want is they want to attain their destiny they want to acquire that pleasure and to acquire that pleasure they may progress to any extent in their life and they may violate all the laws and commandments in the in that has been written down in the bible to just you know obtain that pleasure and fulfill that worldly pleasure right they don't care they bend the rules and all those things. They are called as goat category. So you really need to find out which category you belong. And if you belong to sheep category, you really need to still again identify whether you are that careless sheep or careful sheep. If you are that careless sheep, please invite God according to Proverbs chapter 3 verses 11 and 12 and Proverbs 6 23. Ask him to chastise you and bring you to corrections. Therefore, your destiny will never change. What is the destiny that has been predestined for any mankind? Destiny is kingdom of heaven. You won't miss that destiny. Right? And all of us will deserve to go through corrections but not without God intervention but not without god help you all understand okay now let move on therefore thus says the lord god to them behold i myself um i myself will judge between the fat and lean sheep because you have pushed with side and shoulder and battled up the weak ones with your horns and scattered them abroad therefore i will save my flock and they shall no longer be a prey and i will judge between the sheep and sheep this is very very important now what god is trying to say here is the fat and lean sheep who are the fat sheep the fat sheep are the one which had been really fed with a lot of food right and you and i are that fat sheep, born Christian, believer in Christ, born again believer in Christ. And you and I have gone through a lot of course corrections. You and I have good knowledge and wisdom from the Bible. You and I have the anointing of the Holy Ghost. You and I have the gift of the Holy Ghost. The fruit of the Spirit is in us. Therefore, the more it is given, the more it is expected. Correct? You are that fat sheep. I am that fat sheep. The lean sheep are the ones who are unbelievers, who have gone astray, who have rejected Jesus, atheists, and people who are being misled by various other doctrines. Now, you and I, if we start to condemn them, that is what, you know, you know, poking them with our horns, condemn them, condemning them or judgmental and rejecting them or accusing them or abusing them, whatever it is, then God says, really, I will judge you. Yeah, I mean, in other words, he is going to tear us into pieces. He is going to judge us very, very strongly and vehemently. And you and I really need to be careful as Christians that we are not going to live our lives to ourselves, but we are going to be blessing to others. We have the tremendous responsibility to lead the world in light, to really redeem the people from darkness and lead them in light, right? And show them the path of salvation that leads them towards the kingdom of heaven. And God will open up the doors. God will open up that opportunities. And you and I should always be prepared and have that attitude to help others and lead others. You and I are that called shepherds. For you and me, our God is the good shepherd. Jesus is the good shepherd. But you and I are no different from Jesus. Jesus said, you will do all that I have done and you will do more than what I have done. John 14, 12. Which simply means that Jesus was able to lead only few people because his time on earth was very limited, three and a half years. But you and I have the entire lifespan, which means you and I are able to lead more sheep towards that pathway, narrow pathway, which leads them to the kingdom of heaven. That's what it means. And if you and I fail in that responsibility, you and I have to settle that account according to Matthew 12, 36. And that account you can never settle because you have slipped off that responsibility. You have really gone astray from your original duties and responsibility. You are the distracted sheep, right? You are the sheep sometimes going and dividing other sheeps. Be very careful. If you are the child of God, if you are the believer in Christ, If you have anointing, if you are a Christian, you definitely have a tremendous responsibility to save the world and may God be with you.
