Transcript: Dr Babu John's Christian Motivation and Inspiration

Let hands on people, set the captives free. Ask my dear friend Pastor Paul said, Hallelujah! Become a martyr. I don't know who wants to become a martyr. Who wants to become a martyr? One person right there in the back. Here another one. Another future stage. Another future stage. Yeah. Hands are going up. Hallelujah. All of us can be martyrs. I'm not talking about a physical martyr. We can kill our flesh. We can crucify it. We can bury the flesh. Hallelujah. Out of the grave will come a brand new man. Infinity man is in crisis and new creation. So out of that word comes out. A new man. A new woman. new child you are no more the old self you are a new creation your old self is crucified and you have buried the old man here it happened you became a martyr your flesh became the martyr now what you have left of a new man in Jesus Christ and my responsibility is to share a short just for few minutes about the Lord's table and we have to wind it up as early as possible because right after the lunch break we will come back here for the graduation service. We have come to the most important aspect of the worship service. What do you have in Christianity? What do you have in Christianity? Who is the center person of Christianity? Jesus Christ. Take him out of the scriptures. We just have a book. It's not going to bring about anything. Separate Jesus from the scriptures. there is no power in the gospel. But keep Jesus in the center of the book. From every page you will see Jesus, His presence jumping out. And He begins to speak to you. He begins to deal with you. He puts a thumb on His shoulder. God he comforts us and he says my child I know the struggles you go through I know the difficulty you face I know the enemies you face on a daily basis but don't fear as we break bread and as we sip the cup the truth of eternity comes alive. It begins to deal with us. Even if we cannot deal with the outside world, no problem. But if we don't know how to deal with the Lord's body, we are in big trouble. Because we are commanded to discern the body. first Corinthians chapter 1 please project it 310 ok let's go to 10th chapter 10th chapter 10th chapter Uuska 10 Okay Eleven Eleven Eleven chapter 10 okay 11 11 33 10. Chapter 10. 1 Corinthians Chapter 10. 16. The cup of blessing which we bless. Is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break. Is it not the communion of the body of Christ. God loves communion. God loves fellowship. He is inviting all of us to fellowship with Him. When the bread comes to you, when the cup comes to you, don't just take a pinch of it, eat and drink the cup, I'm gone. What he asks is, come my child. A fellowship. God loves fellowship. to become one with Him to participate in the broken body His body was broken on the cross His blood was shed on the cross and He is asking let's have fellowship let's eat the bread let's sip the cup just don't stretch your hands simply and he is asking each one of us and in fact the invitation is being given to us come dine with us have fellowship with me what are you going to eat out of this plate it's my broken body and he said do this in remembrance of me that's the fellowship and 1st Corinthians chapter 11 verse 23 and he says it is so beautiful and he says I've received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you we know that Paul was not one of the twelve apostles he himself says I'm a lake comer I was born out of blue but God's grace has been abundance on me He has seen me from a mother's womb. He has seen me from eternity. And now He says, in fact, when the bread was broken on the upper room, He was not there. Who instructed Him to do all this? If you would read 1 Corinthians chapter 11 verse 23 Don't have to read And you reach Luke's gospel chapter 22 And stuff like all those All those explanations What Jesus did with the Lord's table And when you read here If you go to Luke's gospel And go to the Lord's gospel And go to the Lord's gospel Then Jesus can see what Jesus did his writings have more clarity explanation is so simple what John Luke and Matthew did not cover Paul covered how did it happen he says there is only one answer I have received it from the Lord it came to Him by the way of revelation where did He get this revelation from you know that after His salvation at Damascus He was disappeared for almost three long years He went into Arabia. What is in Arabia? What is in Arabia? Wish I had time enough to take you to Arabia. The children of Israel on the way from Egypt to their promised land. That's where Mount Sinai is. And he went to Mount Sinai as Moses spent time with God on the top, Paul spent three long years with Jesus. Wish we had more explanation on that. Wish he gave out more information on that. He did not care. That's not important. what is important that's what he gives out here Paul is not a man who boasts of himself people forced him to boast people believed him about his superstorship then he said one topmost secret in the second Corinthians. And he was taken up to the third heaven. Nowhere else you find that. But he says, you force me to tell you that. Thank God there are some forceful people who force preachers to get something from their heart. Troubling them, needling them, pressing them. And coming back to the Lord's table, I have received it from the Lord. What was teaching Jesus did not give on the upper room. What the other disciples did not teach the church, here Paul expounds it strongly. Look at this and compare with other portions from the gospel. And compare with other portions from the gospel. The gospel account and Paul's account are not different but Paul's account have more explanations. and he says I have received it from the Lord and that also which I give to you the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread the gospel account is the same he gave thanks broke it and said take it this is my body which is broken for you this do in remembrance of me the same account after the same manner he also took the cup when he got up saying this cup is the testament in my blood this to you as often as you drink it in remembrance of me the same account verse 26 also corresponds with the gospel account and from from from 27 on which the difference starts And verse 26 says, For us of Nasi, eat this bread and drink this cup, you do show the Lord's death till He come. 27 Nasi is different. wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the Lord and worthily shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord Jesus did not say verse 28 let a man examine himself our soul. Let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup. Verse 29 he that eats and drinks unworthily eats, drinks, damnation to himself because he is not discerning the Lord's body then he expounds it deeper then he expounds it deeper I want everyone of you to listen very carefully the Lord's table is not as simple as you think it is. It has got profound meaning. Deeper understanding. Because here you are dealing with the fellowship of the body of Christ. Hallelujah. You have to discern the Lord's body. and he says what happens if you don't listen to the Lord's body you just come down and casually take a piece and take a cup and drink and you go back as if nothing has happened it doesn't have any consequence or a value but read what's happening steady I want all of you to say these words after me and I want all of you to say these words after me everybody read after me this word for this cause isi karan isi karan isi karan tumme se mahot se nirbal and there is no pain and there is no pain and there is no pain some have said that because you are crying now you are crying why? this is the most important serious consequence that Jesus talks about why are so many Christians so weak. Why are so many Christians unnecessarily sick? Why are so many Christians departed out of time? This is a secret. So the Lord's table is so important. in all my travels I've seen people in many churches the Lord's table is relegated to the back of the church if you want you can go take it you won't find anyone giving you a cup and everybody visitors believers Christians and whoever comes and walks into the church can take, drink and go. But that's not how silly a thing it is. Verse 36 Because of this among you many are sick sick. Many are weak. Many have died. So it is very important. If you don't want to be weak physically, if you don't want to be spiritually weak, if you don't want to become unnecessarily sick, if you don't want to die prematurely, don't take part in it. Do not come down. You know why? How do you examine yourself? How do you say in the Lord's body? I'm sure you are from different ethnic group, different religious background, different of our churches. I understand all that part. between Khaleesiya'o se, Jagao se, Sthanao se, Ritiya'o se aayin hain. We have been going through the local fellowship for a while.
