Hello and welcome to our podcast, which is called Jesus, Our Light in a Dark World. This is episode number two of Jesus, Our Light in a Dark World. We're calling it Disabled Christian. And it's a testimony From me David from DLC Ministries And today I just want to talk about Dealing with my disability As a Christian I am legally blind And for Most of my life You know it's been this way I mean I had a surgery when I was Either six weeks or six months old I can't remember the exact thing I had a brain surgery I gave my young parents a Lot of trouble You know because I was sickly Had yellow jaundice and stuff when I was born I was like super skinny I mean you could see my ribs you know they end up having to give me some special milk that fattened me up and once I got from that I haven't haven't got that bony figure from when I was born back not to say that I want to be that skinny but let me tell you I've been husky ever since but and just getting bigger as the years go by sadly But You know And that's You know I have a slow metabolism Because Which is unfortunate Because I love to walk And I walk all the time Because One thing about my disability It makes it where I can't drive I mean I can I have the ability to drive I know how to drive It's just like with my vision I can't see Like signs Like I mean You know I think if I had a car You know I could get to The store and back and everything fine Of course I would have to kind of Repractice because you know There's you know Different factors that You know you gotta That come into play when you're driving that Are different from your walking or on your on the bikes, just see if you're turning them right, you know, because you're quite a distance away from the right-hand side of the car, the passenger side, so, you know, but that, that's the struggle any driver has who's either hadn't driven for a while or it's their first time learning to drive you know making these uh you know these like calculations I guess you don't call it kind of think the best way to say but you know I mean you know where you basically you know you gotta account for a distance of the hood and you know all that good stuff so you know if I had a car I'd have to kind of practice with stuff like that so I wouldn't be taking out street signs and everything making right turns or or left turn because I'm not taking factor the distance from where I'm sitting to the front of the car and you know different things like that anyway you know I had this brain surgery like I said my parents were let's see my mom is 20 years older than I am so they're probably 21 22 or 20 and 21 my mom was 20 and my dad was 21 and you know Amanda and I was their first kid you know like they got married when she was 17 and he was 18 and of course you know this is six months because I got they got married in December 17th I was born December 4th you know two years later or almost two years later and then you know six months after that you know they would my mom was born on January 1st and my dad was born February 24th so you know they'd already had their birthday so technically kind of three years in a way at that you know I don't know not three years but anyway three years old I was trying to say you know because I was 17 and now she was 20 and everything but so like I said I I probably gave them quite a bit of premature gray hairs and that's just being a sickly baby doesn't count for my teen years and stuff and you know we were raised in church my brother and I and I mean we I remember it seems like we went quite a bit when we were younger teenage years we ended up, my parents ended up getting burned in church by by a preacher that didn't want, had a problem with them for some reason or another so that was a different story So my mid to late teens, you know, wasn't in church But pretty much my first 15 years, you know, I can't really remember a time when we weren't going to church But anyway, you know, so whenever, you know, I started, you know, getting to the point where You know I was kind of Cause you know how Kids like to come up and pray And it's a beautiful thing Because you know They're treasures from God You know so I So you know I was getting up to the point at a time Where You know I had enough knowledge to pray about my vision. And I used to come up and pray for my vision all the time. And I used to, even when I wasn't coming up there praying for my vision, it seemed like that's what people would be thinking all the time. And I used to pray all the time, you know. God, can you make my eyes better? used to pray that all the time and you know fast forward 43 years later or let's see technically it's simply 42 because I haven't been 43 for six months yet so yeah for 42 years you know I've been dealing with this vision of course you know when I was younger and stuff I probably didn't understand that I couldn't see because I can see like I said I can I have the ability to drive I could see the drive just you know like seeing distance and stuff you know that would be like I said that play a factor so I can see you know like I read our scriptures up on the screen everything I just like you know for reading purposes you know I can see normal size print some but it really strains my eyes you know I can't read for very long and sometimes I already just find that sometimes I can't you know like 12 you know the 12 point size font and stuff like a lot of times you'll get mail that's like that or you know different things like that and I can pretty much see that okay you know like I said sometimes I can't. So, you know, in school I used to have where people would enlarge stuff for me, like a test. Like, they got to where, you know, like a piece of paper is like 8.5 by 11 you know, sheet of paper. And you'd have your test copied on that. They got to where they would either use that same size paper but blow up my test and have half of it on one sheet of paper and half on another. Or they started using 11 by 17 size paper. You know, and you know, that way it would be enlarged. And sometimes I had regular textbooks. Sometimes I had some large print textbooks. You know, I used to use magnifiers and everything. There was this, uh, this one interesting thing that I had that I bought, well I didn't buy it, I got it from this commission for blind people. And it was, it was a tabletop thing. And it had a screen on it, pretty much like a computer screen. I mean it was, it was kind of wide and that's basically what it kind of looked like. But it was kind of, it had kind of like a, um, sand type of thing where you know it was up a little higher and then you know because it was like there was like this I'm trying to think of like this little bar type of thing that held the screen higher and then on underneath it there was this a flat little platform thing and you set your textbooks on it and it was and it had these little gears and stuff where you can or you can make it move like you can you know you can push it like you can pull it out to like see the top of the book and as you're reading you know you just push it in back towards the back where that column is nice to call a CCTV but I know like if you like to look up CCTVs it's like security camera type of stuff so you gotta so but that's what they used to calm or that's what you know that's what I've always known a myth but you know then you know if you're you get to like like say you're reading the Bible and you're up at the top and you have the thing pull pull the way back toward your lap or your stomach or whatever and then you're pushing it back towards the thing as you're reading and then you know you got it we want to move over you can You can these little gear tab things, you know, a lot of square can move side to side Anyway, I use that a lot in high school More like late fifth and sixth grade I believe and then Some of junior high and high school. I mean that was a little harder. I had it in the like a resource room thing I Think there's probably better way to say that but that's that's what we used to call it back then and that's the only word I could think of right now you know for the people who had special needs stuff you know that had you know that had I can't think of that where they really see stuff upside down or side verse anyway whatever the word is I'm trying to say but basically you know through junior high and high school I'd have to go in there but you know but you have your classes and other rooms and there's only that one little machine there so you could and it you know it was I mean it was like a like at least a 20 by 20 computer screen or you know 20 inch computer screen or so you know it was bulky and really heavy and stuff it wasn't something that you could just log back and forth to class so anyway you know I dealt with you know the struggles of trying to do all this stuff in class and different things. Pardon me. But, you know, the crazy thing was that, you know, even though I had the CCTV thing, you know, I still had, you know, people that blow up stuff you know enlarge that's what they used to call it blowing up enlarging you know the tests and different things but you know even that you know sometimes wasn't all that easy to see and either because of the assist or just because of trying to strain to read I don't know which but you know back then I'm gonna happen sometimes now but not as much but because I'm not like in school or anything you know I'm constantly you know not in college or nothing like that where I'm constantly reading or whatnot but you know you know sometimes like that strain and stuff would give me migraines so anyway we fast-forward to about 15 or so everybody else in my classes is driving well technically I guess that'd be 16 because I was held back a year and I've said this before in my sermons but because you know I got the I got my sermon ministry you know my sermon church ministry thing where I preach sermons at DLC ministry on Facebook and Twitter and things like that we got it linked to our YouTube channel here and stuff so I think so anyway hopefully you can find it I mean if not it ain't no big deal it doesn't matter but basically you know whenever everybody in my class was starting to drive you know I couldn't do it and it was a very very hard time and I'm gonna admit I'm not gonna lie I was a little bit mad I got about it because I couldn't understand why I was dealing with about why I couldn't drive well I used to say this I'm you know know about how it's kind of you know I wasn't like any hatred or anything but I was just you know I was a little mad I was like you know why am I not able to do this God and my mom always gets so mad when I say that and I'm like I'm being honest you know it was upsetting so anyway wasn able to rob this kind of hard time especially when my little brother was able to drive That kind of a hard time Especially when my little brother was able to drive Because there was one day, you know, because he would drive me around. And I even bought him, I even bought us a vehicle. With my own money. $700 for a Chevy Suburban. This may have been before that I can't remember But anyway my brother You know he was You know he was able to drive And I wanted him to take me somewhere You know and he told He told me That I needed to Get off My lazy tail end and drive myself And of course my dad got mad At him and said You know that he would give anything To be able to drive but he can't So anyway We fast forward to you know I'm an adult You know now And I start feeling the need To be in church And At first I start going to the church that You know kind of kicked my parents out My parents weren't happy about that You know they They thought that I was kind of You know basically being okay with How they're treated And I kept telling them No I just want to have a close relationship with God Of course if you've Heard my sermons And I don't know if I mentioned on here But I played with God for a while Where you know I confessed to be a Christian Till Around Around when I was 34, 35 Something like that Maybe in 36 No, it's not 36 From 33 to 35 I think Anyway You know, I play with God Saying that I was a Christian But doing what I wanted to do But you know, I felt that You know, pull the wannabe In the house of God and everything So So, you know You know, as you're older Compared to when you're a kid You know, because when you're a kid You just get these Ideas in your mind And I said there's nothing wrong with that Because, you know Kids know how to pray and it's amazing You know, they know how to ask You know, there was this kid I used to go to church with not when I was a kid when I was adult and he really wanted his dad to be in church so every time I take prayer requests he'd say can you pray for my dad to come to church prayed for it all the time it was so adorable but you know as you're an adult you know you start getting the struggles of life. So, you know, because I used to be, like I said, I played with God for several years of my life. And I would say probably the first 20. You know, because it probably, because I remember this around 1991 or so that I, well, I don't even know, it's probably 25 years. I don't know. Like I said, I mean, I used to be where I would run up to the altar all the time You know Preacher Saying something He'd do the altar call And say if anyone gives their life to the Lord Then come up And I assumed like I was always up there And the reason being Because Even though I accepted that Jesus was the Lord of my life I mean that he was the Son of God And everything I didn't ever remain in the Lord in my life Which was the problem And as I say in my sermons You know If you haven't experienced that You don't know what I'm talking about But if you've experienced where You made Jesus the Lord of your life And he's changing you Then you understand But So You know I do all those altar calls All the time and everything When I was a kid And I do it sometimes as an adult too But sometimes I just come up praying about Just different struggles I have And you know I I've kind of given up on asking Jesus to Kill me in my vision when I was an adult I'm like you know I asked for it for 10 or 15 years when I was a kid or so And never got it So, you know, there's more important issues And people would come up still And say I know Jesus can heal your vision And I'd be like And I would thank him And I'd think to myself Well, I appreciate that But I got more important Pressing issues Than that on my mind right now So I would kind of shake it off and you know whatever because and you know it would happen so much that I would get started getting irritated I'm like Lord I appreciate that these people are doing this but make them stop because you know I asked you for years you didn't do it and now I'm trying to pray over stuff that's more pressing than that and it's just it just gets too overwhelming so then we fast forward to not too long after I got serious and there's a if you know if we don't get any messages anybody wanting to be on the show before next week or so I may bring this out but what kind of made me serious about my walk was I had a sickness you know like I said you know the the either the possibly the system of brain you know gives me migraines from time to time Sometimes it's reading related Sometimes it's not You know I'm able to do different stuff Like my senior year of high school I think it was I was having like Where my vision would blur Or I'd black out And one time I blacked out for several hours And it scared me And unfortunately Like a childish person I played it up a little bit longer Than I should have But the reason why I did it's because it scared me you know because you know yeah I just where my you get toward my vision we kind of blur well I mean why I couldn't see you know like everything was to be so bored and I'm trying to think of the best way to explain it I mean it gets so blurry like almost like those clariting commercials I don't know if you remember those or not there probably been several years now where it talks about clarity and clear and then they hold some like little fog over looking thing in front of the camera and then pull it away and where everything's kind of where you can kind of see colors and stuff but you can't really see what the tone there I mean it's kind of basically what my blurry vision things is like where I could see colors like I could see if the teacher approached me and like she wearing a red shirt or whatever I can see that she was close and I can see the red shirt you know whatever the brown hair or whatever it may be but you know I mean I definitely couldn't like see to take a test or anything at that time all right or just to read my textbook or whatever but you know they would it would happen fairly quickly but this one day it happened for several hours is just like I'm not just went completely black and it scared me and I didn't know what was going on. And even when I played it up a little bit too much, my vision was still not exactly right at the time. When I kind of got caught in my scheme, I guess you would call it. It wasn't like I said, it was technically going to scheme. I mean, it was scary. but I mean my eyes were still blurry like you know because the doctor was like didn't believe that I couldn't see it all so he was sticking this Q-tip towards my eyes and I would blink but I could kind of see the doctor and I could kind of see around the room a little bit and I could kind of see that he was putting something close to my eye I couldn't tell what it was But I could see it enough that it would make me react, you know Anyway So I almost forgot where I was going with that But anyway, about the time I got serious in the Lord I'd had this thing where These spells where I got dizzy And like I said, we'll go into this deeper in another video But it was basically where you know I was trying to rely on the Lord on it and it got to the point where I told God that you know you're either going to have to do something or I'm going to the doctor and I'm getting my healing praise God excuse me and after I got my healing you know It just turned everything around before me I said you know what Lord I realize I professed to be a Christian That I said I loved you And that I believe that you were the son of God And died for my sins But I never understood What making you the Lord of my life is But now I surrender I want to make you the Lord of my life I want I want you to take control You know and everything And I can't You know Really explain all that happened with it but Like I said If you completely surrendered to God Gave everything to him Made him the Lord of your life Became a servant of his and not somebody Doing what you want Trying to do what he wants Then you know what I'm talking about So it wasn't too long after that And I've actually had another thing kind of happened that was kind of neat recently. So anyway, I was up visiting a church. A friend of mine, he's a preacher. I met him at Walmart. He was a door greeter. Nice gentleman. Loads the Lord. And, you know, we just get to her. Every time I come in there, I would just talk to him. I'd sit there, standing right at the door, kind of greeting people with him. and just kind of talking and he actually one time was gonna let me have my big break in my first preaching job but I was a little scared at the time so you know I tell him about how I felt like I was called to preach and everything and you know because and so about so one time you know he told me that you know he wasn't the likely pastor of this church is just a church he was going to is kind of basically kind of retired but like on Sunday evenings they would kind of rotate people that would preach and stuff so he told me it's like you know I'm preaching this Sunday if you want to come listen and I'm like okay that'd be great so I come there to support him you know and then he goes telling everybody that I'm a preacher and everything you know that I'm starting out and everything and things like that so this was a before my first video December 31st 2014 my very first sermon video I posted on my page which was about Genesis chapter 45 connecting Joseph with Jesus but anyway um so you know he had told me he's like at the you know after he told everybody you know he had said you wanna you want me to preach half and you take over and preach the other half and I said no I don't know if I'm ready just yet but what I should have done was ask him what he was preaching about because he was preaching about John 3 16 and I love John 3 17 I mean I love John 3 16 too But I think John 3.17 Goes right along with it Because of course as we know John 3.16 For God so loved the world That he gave his only begotten son That whosoever should believe in him Should have everlasting life But the next one says God sent not his son into the world To condemn the world But through him the world might be saved So it's basically saying That God loved the world That he gave his son But his son didn't come here To condemn it He came here To Bring us an everlasting life Not to condemn us for stuff we do wrong So anyway If I would have found out that that's what he's preaching about I would have stepped up Because you know That verse is always Ever since I got serious And started reading the word for myself And everything That's just a verse that You know I think they walk hand in hand And I was actually Had done a video Where I included John 3.18 And I think it kind of Goes right hand in hand With those two verses Can't remember what it says off hand But I started going That's good because that's even included And so anyway I got chickened out you know but and but I stayed there listening preach everything and after you know as we were leaving this lady approached me and said that she was watching me during while we were singing and stuff I like okay she goes you just had this glow about you that I was just that was just amazed by and I was like that's really cool like there's actually a video on my personal Facebook page that kind of reminds me that this happened way after I think but I was walking walking to the store before church and I bought some creamer for my coffee you already had the pot going everything I was walking back and I was walking this field this field's not there no more now it's a Casey's which is a like a little convenience store type of thing but it's kind of a little bit big not as big as like a pilot or or let's see where that Bucky's place or trying to think of some other places like that it's sort of similar to those but not maybe not as big but it's a little bit more bigger than convenience store as far as has more a little more stuff maybe not more stuff but like it's got like a listen you know kitchen you know stuff where you get different things to get anyway basically in that that day I was walking back home and you know because this was Sunday morning church and the Sun was kind of glowing around my head like remember my shadow I mean you know it's on my Facebook page I mean I could send the picture if anyone really wants to see it you know you know Contact our email at the end here. But our short name is kind of Jesus Light Talk Like Jesus Light Talk Show Type of thing Excuse me sorry about that So anyway If you want to see that JesusLightTalk At gmail.com I'll email that picture If you want to see it So anyway so this lady said that there was this light That she was watching as I was You know singing And I thought that was pretty interesting and not too long after that I'm up praying about I'm thinking there's a situation with my family either my brother or one of my nieces or I don't know what exactly is going on but at the time there's something going on and I'm praying and I'm up there at the altar like I said I haven't really prayed about my vision since I was a kid Because you know I think a lot of it was just Because I didn't ever get any healing from it or anything I just thought well Ain't no reason to waste my breath I don't know and I'm trying to be Being mean about it or nothing but You know It was just that You know I just There just wasn't anything That I felt like Any reason to pray about it anymore But And I'll explain why That's what I'm kind of getting to with the story So anyway I'm back at my home church I'm up there praying about my Some family situation going on Because like I said when you're an adult There's a lot more burdens in life than when you were a kid. That's why I was praying about my eyes a lot when I was a kid and stuff. Maybe that's just part of why I didn't pray when I was an adult. When I used to go up to pray, it was about something. Some way to the world that you face when you're an adult. That I probably come up there praying for. So anyway, this lady That I I know her fairly well and everything And honestly, I didn't think That she'd be a person that would Want to That would think to do this Because, you know I think she knows that I get around You know, doing what I Doing what I gotta do fairly well without You know, with the limited vision I got So anyway, so this is pretty neat I think anyway It's neat to me It was a pretty awesome little experience But Cause you know I didn't know anything about this Cause she didn't come up Cause like I said a lot of times you know I'd be up there praying And someone would come up And they'd put their hand on my shoulder And they're like Either they know my name And they say David Or they go like sweetheart Or whatever God told me to pray for your eyes And I'd be like okay Well I appreciate it but I'm thinking to myself You know I got something Way more important than that So this lady didn't do that She didn't come up But she did pray For my vision And it was And She ended up as I was It's either after Church of Smith Or Yeah I guess it would have been After Church of Smith Cause I sat in the front row She sat in the front row Not the very front row But like I was at the front where there's still a pew in front of me where you can get like the like cards for the offerings and you know hymnals and things like that so technically the second row but kind of the first row you know because a lot of a lot of times you're not not many people are going to be sitting up there in the very front row because that's usually where a preacher will said or or maybe youth that wanna do whatever who knows but anyway so I was setting sides up there so I knew I'm praying for her you know whatever situation is going on in my family after the church is dismissed I walk back and she's about midway down the aisle and there's people you know in front of her get leaving and you know I said about midway where I'm at too but I'm virtually usually there by myself or there's one family or something so I can usually escape fairly easy so I'm I'm about that's a pass her roll up and you know she's not to where she can get to me so she yells out David hang on a minute minute and there's something I got to tell you. And so I stop and I wait for her to come out and stuff. And she goes, David, I was praying for your eyes and I got so mad. I mean, I didn't say anything to her but I was just sitting and thinking, why do people keep doing this? You know? Because I just started going because, you know, I was I would kind of hear some preachers talk and everything I started thinking these people are not hearing from God They're just seeing that I have a disability And they're taking it upon themselves to You know pray for it You don't want to pray for it or whatever But God's not leading them to pray for it you know So I got a little angry Not like I don't think I did visually Like where she could tell but I was like in my mind I was like you know type of thing and or maybe I was because she knows smiling so maybe I didn't get a little visually upset about it and And that's so I said oh really and Cuz you know I kind of like did this internal grunt like oh my god. Are you kidding me? You're not hearing from God. You're just trying to make yourself feel better. Stop it. You know, that's kind of what I was thinking So I she said that I said you know Mother amongst myself and I say oh really then she smiles and she goes yeah So I saw you down there praying And I said God Can you heal his eyes so he can see And she goes And you'll never guess what I heard back And I kind of looked And I'm like what And she goes He can see He sees me And I was just like I mean it just like It made that whole thing so amazing And it was just so awesome And it just It really blessed me You know because I was like Because you know like I said I was burdened by The situation with my family And it was laying hard on my heart So I'm already laying that down at the altar You know giving it to God And then I'm you know and then I get this whole stress about someone's just trying to make yourself feel good type of thing but then she gets this response and it just it blessed me so much let me tell you and then recently I was at this it was actually the same church where the fellow that preacher friend of mine that was a Walmart door greeter. It was actually the same church he went to. I don't know if he's there or not now. But I didn't see him. But anyway, I visited there a time or two. It's a little hard to pay attention there though because it's a a former storefront and they just have this little wall. I mean it's a literal wall But it doesn't go You know from wall to wall It has kind of like an opening Where like people can get around to the back And apparently they didn't like Put any Installation stuff that would kind of Or anything you know that would make it kind of sound proof Because when the youth are in the next room I mean I sit like At the way other side of the church Where I'm not even by that wall but they get so rowdy and stuff in there that I can barely hear the preacher who's speaking through a microphone through a PA system so it's a little it's a little frustrating and I get a little upset one day because I had a need and I was trying to seek some advice and was kind of dismissed about it a little bit but one thing that did kind of bless me was the guy said that he could see that I had a good spirit. So that was pretty cool. Anyway. You know, so. That was just a few cool little things that just kind of, this kind of helped your confidence. Because when you're disabled, anyway, you know, you feel like you're, like people think you're less than, and anyway. And then you know you're A Christian And you're disabled And you trust God To heal you and everything And you keep on dealing With something You know it's a little You know you can get a little frustrating So anyway Let's see There's a song I'm trying to make sure Yeah Chris Tomlin called the table and this is at my home church not the one that where the lady had sent a thing I didn't that church ended up splitting up around November of 2014 you know they kind of kicked the preacher out and everything and I was kind of bouncing here and there for a while after they kicked him out because you know just different things you know how it goes whenever someone kicks him out of church anyway I ended up starting going got my parents back in church after when I was 15 and they were burned by a church so probably at least a good 20 years close to 25 years of them not being in church so anyway so at this new church now that my parents are going to and getting they got saved and they're on the table. You know, it starts out talking about I will feast at the table, Lord. I won't hunger anymore at His table. It says that a few times. And it says, Come all ye weary, come and find. His yoke is easy, his burden lot. He is able, he will restore at His table, at the table of the Lord. There is peace at the table Lord There is peace at the table Lord I won't wear it anymore at this table And it talks about there is healing at this table I won't suffer anymore Anyway The very last line This one day I'm just up at the front Just kind of worshiping in this song Like it says You know that Come all ye weary Come and find His yoke is easy His burden light He is able He will restore At the table of the Lord Just after that In the very last verse Of this song It says I am invited to the table of the Lord I am invited to the table of the Lord He says come just as you are To his table And let me tell you One night It was a Sunday evening I believe Or a Wednesday evening I can't remember I remember this evening time Because I As I was talking Because I I a talker I one of those people where like I shy at first and I won say very much but as soon as I kind of feel comfortable it's hard to shut me up. So, he had, somebody said, so they played this song, And Right as it said I'm invited to the table of the Lord He said come just as you are I mean it just spoke to me right then and there About my vision And As soon as the song ended I mean I was like I just got something from the Lord Can I share it? And I did And I can go ahead and share that with you now If you don't mind so what I got when it said just come as you are it showed me that you know when I prayed all the time when I was a kid and I had all these people praying for me when I was a kid and when I was an adult and everything else you know God could have healed me. But I believe that the reason why he didn't is there was a reason why that I was given this vision. I almost want to say blessed or cursed, but definitely given is I believe there's people that I would encounter in this life that I wouldn't that I probably wouldn't have encountered if I had gotten my vision because you know I not being able to drive, you know, you're kind of relying on people to take you around. But if I had got my healing from my vision, and would have been able to drive, I'd probably have been going all over the place and whatever, you know. And, you know, I just, I don't feel like I feel like my life would go another way. I don't even know if I'd be saved if I had gotten healing. and I just think you know the way I say this that you know the God said you know there's people that you can come in contact with and touch their lives or help them that you would have never had the opportunity to encounter if you had your healing And so when that line came Just come as you are It showed me that I didn't have to be like everybody else I didn't have to have perfect vision You know and be able to see and drive And everything like everybody else is doing To me it said you know This is how God made me Because that's the purpose he had for me was to touch people you know that I may never had opportunity to meet or maybe my vision kind of open the door to communicate with them I know if if I had my healing, I wouldn't be living at where I'm at right now. So the people that I've met here, I know I would have never met them. You're not just that. I mean, who knows if I'd be alive right now? Who knows if I'd be a Christian? Who knows if I'd be living in the town I'm in right now. I may have hopped in the car and tried to be an actor. You never know. You know, I don't know if my life would have been any better or worse if I had my vision or not. You know, my healing of my vision. That's why I was like everybody else where I could see the drive and everything and able to read a small print and everything. Like for me, I mean, I used to, when it came to the Bible, I used to have a giant print Bible. Now I have a super giant print. And it's still not exactly really big enough. Which makes it a little hard to read it. I mean, I can follow along and stuff, but it's not something I can better death strain my vision a little bit to where I can't read it for all that long. Praise God God made it a way that You can access the Bible other ways And Heard a brother talking about it today How he thinks that those are distracting And I understand that Because I mean you got Different things Like if you got a Bible on your phone Or your computer and stuff You know there's Other things that you may Open up your phone to read the Bible and end up doing something else or whatever. So that's why I say I have a physical copy. And I agree with that. Physical copies are definitely good. You know, I take my physical Bible to church with me all the time. And you know, sometimes for flipping back and forth a lot, you know, I use my phone. but you know because it's a lot easier faster to find it or at least have it to like a fun in the book now if if they're starting to read it before I can find it by turning the page I can at least have it right there but I mean that's basically I mean I really truly believe that if I was to gotten the healing for my vision that I wanted so bad when I was a kid that made me so like I said I mean wasn't wasn't angered apart right was that odds or anything I just really could understood just couldn't understand why I wasn't able to be like everybody else type of thing you know that was kind of anger I had I mean it wasn't like and I hate you and anything like that it was just Lord why can't I be like anybody else why can't I be like you know everybody in my class who's driving you know I mean because you think about I mean this may not be as big a deal now because you know the world's changed a little bit you know where people see things and stuff but in my day when I was in school and you know the guy would pick the girl up before a date for me I knew that to find a girl that likes to walk or a girl that pick me up you know or be one of those people that have your parents pick your the pick the girl up with you in the car and you know teenager going on dates and stuff not fun with your parents but you know like I said I don't know how it is now with kids I don't have any kids and everything so who knows what they go through nowadays.
