Getting the bible excitement tips.

As time went along found myself buying books. The ministry I was under showed some of the best reference books to have. I probably owned 90% of them when all of a sudden came accross the free E-sword bible program for my computer. There may be better ones out there but this one gave free book modules that were free. They were the same as my paid for books. In time I had a second and then third computer. That is 3 free programs. Let's do some math here to see what I really got. Pulpit commentary----cost me $79 dollar disc. It is probably a $1,000.00 for the books. That would buy 2 laptops with money left over. E-sword was free. My knowledge of good and bad books show that the majority of books have errors that are big. so by having a good Theologian preacher who was dedicated to truth teach me helped know the best selection. It is important that your best teacher is the Holy Spirit, God uses men who have education but they must be accurate. Next time I will share the books and why they are good. God bless.

Faith And Faithfulness

Faith And Faithfulness

"The righteous will live by faith." Hab. 2:4

The following article was written by Jacob Prasch of Moriel Ministries. I have added the bits in square brackets.

In Hebrew, the word for "faith" is "emunah" from which we get the word "amen"; in Hebrew the word for "faithfulness" is "emunah". It is the same word, like from the book of Lamentations: "Great is thy faithfulness" (Lam. 3:23). The Hebrew language makes no distinction between "faith" and "faithfulness" and neither, technically, does the Greek - "pistis". There may be a difference in the case endings, but the word for "faith" and the word for "faithfulness" is the same. In other words, if somebody's faith is genuine, they are going to be faithful. "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him" (John 3:36).

A saving faith is not a mere, intellectual faith; Satan has an intellectual faith; Satan knows it is true. If it is a saving faith, there will be faithfulness. The problem is that instead of following the Hebrew or Greek, our translations generally follow the Latin Vulgate of Jerome. "Faith" and "faithfulness" are different in Latin. Hence, in English, we get the wrong perspective. If it is a saving faith, we will be faithful.

Hab. 2:4 says,

"The righteous will live by faith." [It could be translated,]

"The righteous will live by faithfulness."

Eph. 2:8 says,

"We are saved by Grace through faith." [It could be translated,]

"We are saved by Grace through faithfulness."

(Commencing, of course, with the faithfulness of Jesus).

Heb. 11:6 says,

"Without faith it is impossible to please God." [It could be translated,]

"Without faithfulness it is impossible to please God."

We make a distinction between "faith" and "faithfulness" because of translational complications we should not be making.

end of Jacob's article.

From what Jacob has shown us, we see that faith and faithfulness go hand in hand. Real faith is shown by faithfulness so if someone claims to have faith but is not faithful then they have a dead, worthless faith because James 2:26 tells us that "faith without deeds is dead." A tree is known by its fruit and "every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire" (Matt. 7:17-19).

Mike Overson's Bible notes

mikeoverson.multiply.com/video My Bible notes at Multiply are only until they will discontinue it like Friendfeed did, (nice going you evil atheists, see pages 165 and 210). Because I, (Mike Overson), had a calling to represent Jesus' return, (an awkward job but somebody had to do it), I felt obligated to make a note on every part of the Bible that I received as a sign. It's not finished yet but I thought I'd better post what I have in case I die a premature death. The latest update on 12-22-12 is on page 211, previous updates on 11-23-12 are on pages 33 to 46 and 188 to 211. After making these updates I'm convinced that Multiply is making a very evil mistake, (= a siren at 1148am which confirms it because it means "I can't believe how cold you are"). The only way I know of to stop Multiply in a case like this is by PRAYER, (see pages 33 and 115 or my class L122 here at Multiply or at Vimeo), so I'm praying that God will rescue social networking at Multipy and I hope others will to. latest Bible notes on 12-22-12 @ page 211.zip At Multiply: Download the attached Bible notes zip file and open it in text edit and instead of printing it click Preview for the best view of these notes. (I make these instructions idiot proof in case anyone is as dumb at computers as I am.)

The Two Wolves

The Two Wolves "I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life." (Deu. 30:19) Whenever someone repents and accepts Jesus as Lord of their life, the Holy Spirit comes to live within them and, from that point on, a spiritual battle exists between their sinful nature and the Holy Spirit. Gal. 5:17 describes this battle: "For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want." Our sinful nature is a powerful force which will continue to rule our lives unless we submit to the Spirit just as Gal. 5:16 tells us, "live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature." The following parable describes the battle within us: An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life... "A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy. "It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One wolf is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego. The other wolf is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too." The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?" The old chief simply replied, "The one you feed." (Author Unknown) This parable truly describes the spiritual battle every Christian faces. Which wolf are you feeding? Rom. 8:13 also tells us that there are two ways we can live: "if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live." 1) You can feed the evil wolf and live according to your sinful nature and die or 2) You can feed the good wolf and through the Spirit put to death the misdeeds of the body and live. You need to choose wisely as only "those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God" (Rom. 8:14). Choose life and through the power of the Holy Spirit put to death the misdeeds of the body so that you may inherit eternal life. This article can be downloaded as a PDF or an MP3 from - http://www.christianissues.biz/downloads.html Mick Alexander Email: leeandmick@gmail.com Website: www.ChristianIssues.biz

A LETTER TO MOM AND DAD FROM CAMP HEAVEN

Dear Mom & Dad,

This is the first chance I had to write to you. I'm sorry if I made you worry. I want you to know that all is well and I arrived safe and sound at Camp Heaven. Everything around me is more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. The trip was short. I got here just after I closed my eyes and fell asleep. It was as if no time had past at all. I miss you so very much. I was told to tell you it wasn't goodbye because I would be seeing you soon. Please mention this letter to all my relatives, friends at home, and at school. I arrived standing before a huge gate. A Beautiful Angel was there waiting to greet me; he had very large wide wings protruding from his shoulders and was wearing a whiter than snow robe with a golden sash around his waste. A halo circled above his head; his whole being glowed as bright as the sun. I was able to see his face; it was unlike any face I had ever seen before...perfect, soft, and gentle. He greeted me with a loving smile. I asked him who he was; he answered with a low echoy voice: "My name is Gabriel. I am an Archangel and Messenger of God." I could hardly believe what I was seeing: a real live Angel! He extended his arms to me; I rushed and fell right into them. He embraced and held me tight, then said: "Welcome home Michael." While in his arms I was overcome with a profound love, peace, and joy which encompassed my whole body unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Mom and Dad, don't feel bad but the love I felt was a thousand times stronger than anything I ever experienced before. He then said: "Come Michael, all your brothers and sisters are eager to see and greet you. Grab on to my cloak." We traveled through the air for a short while and landed on this huge outdoor arena that looked like a King's Palace all shiny and bright. A large group of men, women, and children had gathered. There were all kinds of animals milling around...doggies too. I was thrilled to see doggies. I saw lots of Black Labs, just like our Smoky Bear. Gabriel put his arm around my shoulder and announced: "Children, this is your new brother Michael; welcome him home!" Everyone cheered and applauded louder than a crowd at a sports stadium; they all came to greet me and gave me lots of hugs and kisses. I felt like a Super Star! Gabriel then said: "OK, enough kissing and hugging, it's time to celebrate!" I started hearing the sound of music playing but didn't know where it was coming from. I looked up; descending from the sky was an army of Celestial Angels playing the most beautiful and enchanting music I had ever heard. Each of them had different instruments: trumpets, harps, bells, and others instruments I had never heard or seen before. The music permeated the entire palace. Then, all of a sudden, I see this gigantic table and chairs appear in the center of the palace that glistened like diamonds. The table was longer than a football field and was filled with a huge assortment of food and treats. I never saw such a display of food on one table before. Gabriel, seated at the head table stood, lifted his wine glass high and said: "Children, I hereby propose a toast to welcome the arrival of God's new adopted son, our new brother, and new addition to The Family of God, Michael! The crowd lifted their glasses and shouted: "Here! Here!" and sipped the wine. The Angels started playing a tremendous joyous sounding song. Everyone started shouting and repeating: "Welcome Home Michael! Welcome Home! Michael!" Gabriel then said: "Hallelujah! It's time to eat, drink, and be merry! Let the celebration and feast begin!" Mom and Dad, it's more wonderful here than words can express! Although I miss you, Dad, and all my friends very much, please know that I am as happy as I ever could possibly have imagined. It's like an everlasting party: Everyone dancing, laughing, filled with joy, and truly showing their love and concern toward one another. Gabriel told me this is to be my New Home and Family. I can stay here forever and never have to worry again about getting sick, growing old, or have bad things happen. Please be well. Take care of yourself and above all don't worry. It's just like when you sent me away to those other camps for the summer, except this camp is the greastest one of them all and I won't ever have to leave. I am in Paradise and here is where I was meant to be, where I belong, and where I will live in love forever and ever! Well, I gotta go now; they're calling my name to join in on another exciting outdoor game. I'll try to write again soon but it's hard to stop from all the fun I'm having. I love you both so very much!

Seperate Faith from Fact

I hope you all enjoyed the article I posted yesterday about prayer and its effect on healing in the medical field. I also hope you took the eleven minutes or so to watch the video posted above: “10 Questions Every Intelligent Christian Must Answer.

By now you may be feeling several different emotions. You may be angry at the video, in deep thought, or downright questioning your faith.

I encourage you to do none of the above.

It’s good to question the bible and some of the aspects of Christianity. Think about school and learning in general. Teachers say that no question is a dumb question. If you do not understand, then ask. The same holds true to religion. If you are unsure of something, ask someone who may have the answer and then decide for yourself whether or not it’s logical.

It’s also important to remember that religion, like knowledge, is ever expanding and always changing. You can never learn enough, so consequently, you’ll never learn it all. While Christianity is consider “the truth,” it’s important to remember that we’ll never fully understand why on earth. Sure, we’ll believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and was resurrected, but will we have ever answer about theology? Of course not.

The problem with the article I posted yesterday and the video today, is that both examples attempt to prove something we’ll never fully understand. God is not present on earth in a literal form so we cannot fully understand him. If you believe in Christianity, you do believe God appeared in human form through Jesus -but he is long gone (again, in a literal sense).

In John 20:29, Jesus tells the doubting Thomas who finally believed through sight, “Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

I do believe there is a little Thomas in all of us.

The problem is we want to explain, prove, pr disprove something that is not evident.

Why do other non-believers spend time and energy trying to disprove religion and Christianity more specifically?

I like to call it a moral obligation.

Which brings us to our conscience.

The conscience is perhaps the biggest loophole in fully understanding evolution. Sure, there is some evidence that points to this theory. Apes for example, are very intelligent, especially for an animal. Yet, we cannot prove whether or not they have a conscience.

I personally believe they do not and is the single biggest factor that separates humans from animals.

Animals are all about instinct and survival. It’s all about when the next meal will arrive and how will I get it.

Humans operate on such a higher plane.

So, the question becomes, if you believe like I do, how did humans receive a conscience? Was it merely by mistake and chance as evolution leads us or was some divine influence behind it all?

Faith is the evidence of the unseen.

If you believe in a God, then you automatically trust in something that is unknown to all of the human senses. The problem with non-believers is that they want to fill their spiritual side with facts and that defeats the process altogether.

I firmly believe that every human is blessed with physical traits, mental capacity, and a spiritual guide. The first two are a given. The spiritual side is up for debate. While some people may disagree, you would be hard pressed to find a logical argument. If individuals are not practicing religion, what are they doing in their free time to fill the spiritual side?

Yoga? Writing? Intellectual conversation about our purpose?

The problem with non-believers is that they want the answers when science does not even prove everything. Keep in mind that a “theory” in science is based on a series of experiments and studies that leads us to a final conclusion. The conclusion is up to debate and not bullet proof. In fact, some popular theories were and will continue to get disproved by newer and “more logical” theories. Does evolution fit under that bill? How about The Big Bang? Only time will tell.

I really believe that the majority of us believe in something more than just this universe. I use the term atheist a lot, but in all fairness, there are a lot more deists and other forms of “I think there is a God, but where he is or what he is doing is beyond me” in the world.

What’s ironic is these people are almost admitting, “Yes, there must be more to this world than just this, but I refuse to believe or acknowledge the God behind it all.”

These people understand that they’re specially crafted human beings and that there is more to this world, yet they refuse to compromise.

Instead they blindly search for all of the answers. They are fools who do not understand that nothing in this world is pure.

We’ll never have all the answers. The boredom…and danger of knowing everything is deadly. What would be the point in living if we had all the answers? Say there was no God. Would anything really make sense on this planet? What would be the point in rules, morals, and ethics when no consequences existed?

Some may argue that we could finally set our eyes on chasing money, fame, and power because that’s all that really matters. ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS! Have you seen the majority of celebrities in our culture? Most of them look incredibly unhappy. A lot of them are battling drug and alcohol addictions. Has anybody read Brian Welch’s story?

When will we get it through our heads that money and power cannot buy happiness?

Yet if we do not believe in a deity we automatically conform to earthly standards of living and success - which are money, power, and fame. ‘Cause you have to live for something, right?

Tomorrow I will tackle all of the questions posed in the video posted at the top of the page. I will attempt to give “some rationalization” or “invent an excuse on God’s behalf” to defend Christianity.

I will attempt to become intelligent, despite the misconception that Christians are obviously dumb and ignorant. I will attempt to answer questions from the ‘grand master’ who obviously thinks he is very intelligent despite the well known principle that anyone who is wise is humble.

I Ain't Buying That!

There is a TV commercial that comes on like it is a news flash… a news bulletin. In fact there are several now. I’m even told there is one that comes on like it is coming from the President. But anyway, it comes on like it is interrupting the scheduled program, and it actually says, “This is an important message regarding your current home mortgage. And it does this because it wants you to stop whatever it is you are doing and pay attention. And one of the commercials goes on to state that the government has issued some new rates in mortgages that you need to take advantage of right now. And all this time this woman is sitting behind a desk looking the part of an actual news broadcaster and she is talking about getting a mortgage. And in another of the commercials they pan over to a man as if he is on ‘location’ somewhere and he goes on to talk about mortgage rates. And he tells you that you must call this number on the bottom of your screen right now in order to benefit. And from the first time I saw these commercials they bothered me, because they actually made me stop and look, only to realize that it was some sort of trick, some advertising gimmick. Now these commercials have actually been coming on for over a year now.And I shared this with my church, as the Holy Ghost began to reveal something to me.What these commercials are doing, in the name of selling mortgage mind you, is peddling fear. What this particular advertiser is doing is taking what the “media” is talking about, what people have been concerned with, and they are selling it.But the “it” that they are selling, is fear. They may actually have a good mortgage loan system, but what they are basing it on, more so, is the fear that people have that they won’t be able to pay their mortgages.Anyway, you know what, I’m not interested and I’m not buying it. Neither should you.We have to know this, that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind.So when fear comes, we need to reject it. Worry comes, we need to reject it. Doubt, anxiety, all these things that stem from fear, we need to send them back. Think about it for a moment, when you fear, you cannot believe. You cannot have faith. And you cannot please God because the Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. I am sure we have heard many times, fear is the opposite of faith. Fear is unbelief. But it yet works the same way as faith. Whatever it is you will attract, good or bad.Job said the thing I feared the most has come upon me. In this time, what the media is saying so much is that we are in a recession. (I’m not confessing that, because the kingdom of God is not in a recession). And since the media is saying that, people are fearing not having any money. And if you fear that, you are not believing God to be your Provider. You are not believing His promise that He is your Source. That like the psalmist said, I have NEVER seen the righteous forsaken or His seed begging for bread. You find yourself doubting everything the Word says.So you have to rebuke the fear. Advertisers are taking what the media is talking about and using it to their advantage, based on fear. There is a letter that we received some time ago and stamped on the outside of the envelope was “info about your stimulus check, enclosed.” (I don’t know anyone who has actually received a stimulus check, but that’s another story). But anyway, I opened and inside, you know what it was they were selling, fear. It said that I had to fill out this form (some type of questionnaire) and send it in, in order to receive my stimulus check.Fear.I’m not buying it and I’m not interested. Then from time to time, we received notices from the gas company. And printed boldly on the envelope it says, “Worrying about your heater going out?” Uh, no, I am not worried. Whatever you are selling I don’t want it. I am not buying it.Worry is fear. And I’m not interested. We’ve received notices from the water sewage company saying, “Did you know that you are responsible if your pipes break in the street in front of your house?” But I know the devil is a liar. Fear.I’m not interested in buying that one either. You know, just today I struggled myself with believing what God said to me. I had a dream and I was to share it with someone. And because I feared that what God said would not happen for this person, I did not want to share it.But, God! Once He showed me that fear was involved, I was able to move on and to do what I was told. Sometime we allow fear to paralyze us from being obedient to what WE KNOW God told us to do. And I almost bought into the fear, which I have done too many times to count.Thank God, He opened my eyes to it today, (the fear) and I returned it to its “advertiser”, before the purchase went through. No fear here! I don’t want it and I am not buying it. We must be careful to see the fear in whatever form it comes and we must not receive it.Fear of believing God at His Word can cause us not to receive His promise. And that is whatever He has spoken to you, whatever you know His Word says you can have. So many things in this world are peddling fear. Trying to sell it to you. The advertisers pounce (who else pounces but the enemy), but they pounce on whatever is going on at the moment, the hot topic, hyped up by the media of course, and they put it in a little package and they market it. To you. But if you look real closely, the package says fear. And you need to reject it. If you don’t want it then don’t buy it! God is good and He’s real. A servant of the Lord,

warning for the entire bride!

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go.I will counsel you with my eye on you. Don’t be like the horse, or like the mule, which have no understanding, Who are controlled by bit and bridle, or else they will not come near to you. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, But he who trusts in Yahweh, loving kindness shall surround him. Be glad in Yahweh, and rejoice, you righteous! Shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart! The passed two weeks I received two dreams from the Lord. Both dreams where so penetrating that I could not get them out of my mind and thoughts! The first dream was about a car, nothing happened but the car gave me the chills!I even woke up in the early morning, just before Johan my husband had to leave for work. And half a wake half a sleep I said to him: "car!" THat is the only word I could say to him, then I went back to bed. This passed night I had another dream. I saw before my own eyes how a little child was hit by a car and died.It was so real that I feel I was literally there! The father of the child was just standing next to me with in his arms a baby, and he was so busy talking with others he did not pay any attention to the other child!Despite of the fact that I tried to warn him several times that his little child was walking close to the open door! This morning while Johan and I where talking with the Lord these two dreams came back into my heart and I said: "Father why did I receive those dreams and what is the meaning of them? This is a warning for the entire Bride. Then the well known fire came over me, the fire I have felt for such a long time now, every time He gives me a message that I need to. Today we have a day of so to speak, normaly we have our sabbatsmeeting, but not today, and we thought we had the day for ourselfs! But it felt if Angels carried me downstairs so I could sit behind my laptop and I only have to put my fingers on the keybord, the message is flowing out of my fingers! The child is born. The new thing you all have been waiting for is finally there. It came healthy on this world. And all of you feel the joy, the joy of all the new things that are happening. The joy of breakthrough! But there are two kinds of bystanders at this moment. There are those who I have learned to wait on My Voice, and who will not walk untill I tell them to.They cherish this new thing peacefulness and dignity, and they ask Me what to do next! But there are also those who, from the moment the child was born, immediately start to run, they run without knowing what to do!

Out of this madness of pressure out of their flesh they forget about the child!

They do not pay attention to it. Their visions and all other things out of their own flesh make them forget about My plan! This new born child is a spiritually child. It is born out of My Spirit not by might or by power, only through My Spirit!

Hold still, only expect it from Me! I Am is The One Who begun this new thing, and I Am will also finish it!

Let me be The One Who can guide you! Just as I have been teaching you how to do that!

My children, by now you all must know how to run, through Me and in Me,

you must have learned by now to rum without the control of bit and bridle.Cherish this new thing, this movement of My Spirit that slowly is moving forth over the entire earth! Start walking but only in My Footsteps! I will position you! This child that is born healthy must be raised healthy so I can glorify My Name!

The chance that this child could die because you are walking out of your own fleshly thoughts is not unthinkable. If you stay joined to me, and I stay joined to you, then you will produce lots of fruit. The father of the child who stood there talking:For some of you this new period is a time of a new thing. But will receive several new things! Last year the Father spoke to me and said: 2009 is the year of suddenly. Suddenly out of the blue things ARE changed!

But many of you are so busy with this new thing (or things) that you totaly forget the POINT that it is all about the Lord and HIS plan! The father with a baby in his arms and a child that already could walk has two explanations:Situations are changing so fast, that we can hardly cope/deal with it! The child is born, and the child can walk! Only by keeping our eyes on the Lord we will be capable to do what He wants us to do! So HIS plans can come true!In the dream I warned the father of the child several times to keep his eyes on the child meaning:The Lord has raised a new generation of apostles and prophets He learned them to serve HIM by serving the rest of the Body of His Bride!

If HIS prophets send out a warning we better pay attention, cause in the dream the father of the child did not pay any attention and the effects where terrible! Please send out this word towards others but without any change please let the word of the Lord be exactly as He gave to me!!
