I want to be an end-time survivor, so I try to listen to God. That way I can learn how He wants me to live. Eight of the ten fastest marathon runners in the world ever are Kenyans, and the other two are from Ethiopia, which is near Kenya. In case you don't know it, I'm from Kenya. I like to run and I learn lots of good lessons from running. The best lesson for long distances is never give up. Quid is never win and win is never quit. That's a good lesson for Christians too. The Bible says end time survivors are people who overcome. To me, that means people who don't give up. Everyone gets tired when they run. I do too. But winners know how to overcome that tired feeling. I try to not think about being tired. I think about good things Like a good feeling when you finish the race Especially if you win In the end times after the Antichrist comes the Bible says there will be big troubles. But Jesus will give lots of rewards to people who overcome the big troubles. We need to think about the rewards and not worry about the troubles. Our whole life is like one big race. We have to overcome the bad things to win with God. I want to be an overcomer. There are lots of ways I can practice for this every day. Sometimes I don't do a very good job. I get lazy or selfish. But if I tell God I'm sorry, and ask him to help me. Together, we can do a better job tomorrow. If I don't give up, I will eventually overcome. Remember, overcomers is just a fancy word for winners.
