Greetings Classic Cinema fans, this is Pastor Jay here with you once again bringing you a treasure hunters report. We're actually going to break this video up into threes because finally we have been able to, or where we're living is finally opening up and you're able to get out and do some treasure hunting. The pawn shops are opening, the goodwills are opening all the different stores are opening and you can kind of go out and safely with masks and all that type of stuff and go out and pick up some stuff so that's pretty cool so we have a big amount that we've been doing over the last several weeks and so we're going to do three videos back to back to back and we'll be releasing these in stages and you'll be able to see some of the stuff that we've added to the collection we're going to start off with big lots some stuff we got from big lots. This one was basically free because you can get a $5 coupon when you spend $15. So this was $5 and so basically this was free. This is the Riddick collection. This is Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick, and then of course The Chronicles of Riddick, Dark very short animated film. This is the Chronicles of Riddick, and like I said, this was basically free because you got a $5 coupon. It was $5, so basically it was free. Kind of an interesting sci-fi series, but yeah, if you're a fan of Vin Diesel, this is a good little take on his character, Riddick. It's a pretty interesting character and all. Not for the kids, but it is an interesting science fiction film. So anyway, Riddick, Pitch Black, and the Chronicles of Riddick, as well as the animated film, and Vin Diesel does the voice in the animated film as well. All right, something that we picked up, I couldn't help but pick this up. This was $5, and this was the John Wayne Collection. Ten John Wayne films for only $5. Pretty cool. The Seven Sinners, Pittsburgh, Reap the Wild Wind, The Conquer, which is really a very interesting film where John Wayne plays Genghis Khan which is crazy Shepard of the Hills the spoilers Jet Pilot Hellfighters the War Wagon and Rooster Cogburn All those are on there, as you can see. And, yeah, so we got that for $5. So, basically, two films for $1. Yeah, you can't complain about that, especially when it's John Wayne and Rooster Cogburn, my favorite. Yeah, definitely, that was worth it alone. Alright, we got some that were on clearance. These are clearance items, all Blu-rays. Very, very cool. First one I got for only $2 is Epic Blu-ray DVD Combo Pack. Kind of interesting from the creators of Ice Age. It's a unique little film about the world beyond our world, if you will. Little people, you know, only about this high. Really kind of an interesting little film, and very well done with the animation and all. It's kind of unique and pretty good. I liked it, so yeah, epic. Next was a, these are basically double features. It's actually, I would consider it a double feature, but it's actually one feature on each film. But they go together, and that is the first film is, both of these are Harrison Ford, But this first film, Harrison Ford, Patriot Games. Very, very interesting spy, espionage, action, adventure type of film. Very interesting. And Harrison Ford, this basically was a little over a dollar. And then Clear and Present Danger, also just a little over a dollar. so that was pretty cool to get those two Jack Ryan films for basically a little over a dollar a piece very very cool now to what we have been absolutely shocked about we just have been adding these just as we're recording this just this week we went to Big Lots and found these humongous box sets These are running from $10 to $15 a piece, and they are complete series or season sets all rolled in together. So first for $10, this is unbelievable. The $4,400. I never actually got a chance to watch this but it sounds really cool It about 4 people that are returned They disappear and they return They look the same and all but they different Really interesting. It sounds really cool. I never really watched this, so this will be my first time watching this, but it sounds really, really cool. these people have powers and they're not the same people that have returned so it really sounds very very interesting it's the complete series it ran for four seasons and so all four seasons are here they're collected like this and all the discs like this and now I know a lot of people would say hey it came out the package well that's because it's made that way to come out. You just slide it in there, lay it down, click it shut, and then you're good to go. But anyway, that's the way they are. It sounds like a very interesting one. I don't know much about it, but it's going to be interesting to check that out. Then, we love classic TV. So this one was a must-get. I love the old Beverly Hillbillies and the Green Acres and stuff like that. So this was an absolute must. Petticoat Junction season 1 through 3. These are a sane type of thing, collected like this, in this type of a package. But yeah, all three seasons, the first three seasons, 108 episodes right here on 15 discs, and this was $15. This is really a great deal when you get right down to the $5 a season. You can't beat that at all. Very, very cool. So Petticoat Junction, love that. All right. Then finally, this one is really, really cool. It is season one through five of Laverne and Shirley. This was interesting because, see, I have the first, second, and fourth seasons of Laverne and Shirley. And I've always wanted to complete that, get more of those. But, you know, when I saw this, I was like, this is probably the best way to go. Because, see, if I got season three and five, it would cost me more than $15. So this, you get all five seasons. And maybe we can get rid of the other ones and get a little bit of that money back. and so that's what we'll probably do. But yeah, Laverne and Shirley, the first five seasons very very cool Again collected this way And it pretty cool We've actually added a bunch of our TV shows like this. So we know what the CBS thing is. This is what they do. We have I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show, the Andy Griffith, the first five seasons. All of those are in these type of packagings, which is perfectly fine. and I've never had an issue with any of them, so seeing these was really, really cool. I'm really looking forward to checking more of these out. Big Lots has a whole bunch of these, so if you have a Big Lots in your area, you definitely need to check it out. You never know. They have more there that I may just splurge and get a couple more because they are really, really a great, great deal. and people in this day and age are wanting to stream the shows. So that's why these sets are going for so cheap because people are just wanting to stream shows. They're not wanting to collect them. Well, see, the thing with streaming, you stream them and a company can take those streaming rights away at any time and then you don't have your show that you want to watch. This way, you are in control and that's what I love about it. So that's why we're collecting them that way. So there you go. So if you want to get your hands on some of those CDs and those things, definitely go to Big Lots. You never know. You might be able to pick up something really, really cool. Something that we missed out on was MacGyver. They had MacGyver the first four seasons, I think it was, and we went to go back and pick it up. We picked up all these, and then we went back, and we was like, ah, let's go get MacGyver. Ran back the original MacGyver.
