We're going to enjoy the history of our community, but we're going to do it in a hilarious way. Trust me. I've got this. You're going to make fun of the community and the things that went on in the history. No. I don't think that's funny. No, no, no. I'm not talking about making fun of the community. I'm talking about just making it fun. That's all. We tell some jokes. We have some skits. We make some fun. It's going to be fun. That's the point. The show is too rigid. It's all about history and all about the community and all about this. It's just facts, facts, facts, facts, facts, facts, facts. But I'm thinking, what if we make it fun? Make the facts fun. I mean, it would be great. See, I've been studying the comedians, the classic comedians, Soupy Sales, Red Skelton, like the classic comedians. I know how they do this. I know how they do this. I'll do it right, and it's going to be great. Trust me. Trust me. I got this. We're going to make an Emmy Award winner on this. Trust me. It's going to be great. Oh, this will never work. It's crazy! And don't get me started on the drivers around here. Wow, I'll tell you. I think drivers are bad elsewhere. Virginia drivers are crazy. I'm telling you, in Virginia, drivers honk before their light turns green. And you know what? Welcome to Southwest Virginia, where you know what? I didn't have cell phone service as an actual legitimate excuse for ignoring someone. It's true. You know what, we're going to talk about some crazy Virginia laws right after this. And some of these laws you're going to be really shocked about. The first one that we want to tell you about is this one. The actual law. No person may keep a skunk as a pet. Well, honestly, who would? Who wants to keep a skunk as a pet? I don't know. It's crazy. Here's another interesting law. Did you know that no one may wash a mule on the sidewalk? Well, there goes my Saturday night. This is interesting. Did you know that it is illegal to imitate a police whistle? Who's actually going to do that? I don't know. I guess there's somebody. Ladies, you're going to love this one. Did you know that it is illegal to kick your wife out of bed? Well, there you go. It's also illegal to flip a coin in a restaurant to see who pays for coffee. That's an actual law, and that is actually crazy. It is also illegal for a person to ride on the handlebars of a bike. I did not know that I did not know that And you want to know a real crazy law? Check this one out. The wording of the town's barbershop permit law indicates that the permit will be revoked if you're caught operating without a permit. What? Is that crazy or what? What do people want? Well, if you're going to do a comedian show, kind of a funny show, we're going to have to get you some writers. I mean, some that really know how to make this thing funny. Better writers? What was wrong with what I wrote? I think I wrote pretty good stuff. Pastor Jay, what? Let's put it this way. You're just not funny. Sometimes life is a little heavy.
