Episode 4 is A Visit from Grandpa, where the Jetsons meet a 110-year-old energetic grandpa.
Greetings Classic Cinema and TV fans, this is Pastor Jay here with you once again bringing you another top 7 list. Today, we're talking the top seven original series Jetsons episodes. Let's jump into the list. This is Jane's driving lesson. It's a very interesting episode in which Jane demands that George buy a second car because she needs to get about and do what she needs to do, and she wants to take some driving lessons. So when she starts to take the driving lessons, she scares away all the driving instructors with her bad driving. It is literally a classic sitcom episode just in cartoon form. It really is. It is so funny, and it deserves number seven on the top seven list of the Jetsons. Coming of Astro, this episode is where George has been completely adamant to his family. No dogs allowed in the house, yet his son Elroy finds a forgotten and abandoned pooch, and he brings him home and fastly the dog Astro begins to melt George heart and they become fast friends It is really really a sweet episode It is really great And that why The Coming of Astro comes in at number 6 on the top 7 list of the Jetsons episodes Miss Solar System. This is a prototypical sitcom just brought into cartoon form. Jane signs up for a beauty pageant but lo and behold isn't one of the judges George Jetson her husband it is literally sitcom perfect sitcom brought to cartoons it is that good it deserves number 5 on the list Miss Solar System A Visit from Grandpa This is really one of my favorite episodes. I really enjoy it. The Jetsons are visited by the energetic, young-at-heart grandpa who just happens to be 110 years young. And, boy, they just have to try to keep up with this man that just keeps going and going and going. He's like the Energizer Bunny. He never quits, you know? I mean, it is hilarious. It's a funny episode, and it really does deserve number four on the top seven list. Millionaire Astro. I really enjoyed this episode. It's kind of tearful. It's kind of heartbreaking, but it's a lot of fun, and it's got a lot of heart to it. Basically, what it is is a millionaire tells the Jetsons that Astro is his dog, and he tries to take Astro from the Jetsons' family and let Astro live in the lap of luxury. and boy is it a great episode it really is there a lot of heart to it and a lot of fun and it really does deserve the number three spot on the top seven list of the Jetsons episodes Las Venus. This is another classic sitcom prototype brought to cartoons with the Jetsons. It's Jane and George go on their second honeymoon, and George finds himself trying to balance the honeymoon with his job as Mr. Spacely has put him in charge of gaining the contract for General Rotor's company, which includes having dinner with the head of the company, which is GG Galaxy. And so George has to try to balance everything out as he tried to make everything work, honeymoon-wise, as well as keeping his job. It is just prototypical sitcom brought to cartoons. It's awesome. Rosie the Robot. This is the first episode, and I think it's probably the best episode. It's a lot of fun. And it's another prototypical type of sitcom just brought to cartoon format. And it's Jane brings in a robot maid for a free trial. And this kind of jeopardizes George's hopes of getting a raise from Mr. Spacely. Because, hey, if you can afford a maid, you don't need no raise, right? It is just a lot of fun. It's a lot of, really a great episode. It really deserves the number one spot on the top seven Jetsons episodes. I have to say this right here from Warner Archive this Blu release wow they have done such a great job I have watched I have owned Jetson episodes from the original series and now we own this one, the Blu-ray release, and I have to say, there is no comparison in the quality. These Blu-rays look, the episodes in these Blu-rays look absolutely stunning. They deserve to be seen this way. If you have them on DVD, I do highly suggest upgrading because they are that much better. They look spectacular. They really are awesome. If you've never seen the original Jetsons episodes, this is the way to do it. Experience them in high definition with the Blu-ray release from Warner Archive.
